They were saying 4,500 left at 11 PM last evening.

I think the most immediate need is for a dominant pass rusher, but Buffalo is not going to get one in the second round unless they get lucky. Free agency is probably a better route to get one of those. If not, you can get lucky on day two just as well as you can in rouind two. The Bills are almost to the point where they should think BPA (Best Player Available). If Jennings looks for greener pastures, left tackle becomes the obvious choice in round two. If not, Buffalo could stand someone who is a stronger run blocker at center than Teague.

Wow..... more signs that Moulds wont be back!

I haven't heard this in a while. "We're DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!" Actually, I don't think the Bills will or should game plan just to keep certain players happy. They need to game plan to win. If Moulds becomes unhappy because game planning involves him a little less and Buffalo has to make a move to ship him out of Buffalo, so be it. -
Ok, Scenario Guys - give me the print out

It's perfectly all right if Cincinnati wins, though they probably won't. We play them next week and have to win then anyway, which would eliminate them from competition. If they win and Pittsburgh wins the next three, Pittsburgh guarantees themselves home field throughout, which makes their last game (with Buffalo) unnecessary. They will rest key players and not try too hard to win. The Jets play Pittsburgh Sunday and probably lose. Baltimore plays the Giants and win. Jacksonville probably beats Chicago. Denver probably beats Miami. The most likely scenario is that the Jets drop a little closer to the pack and Cincinnati drops out of the race while Buffalo, Baltimore, Jacksonville and Denver keep pace. -
Making the playoffs is now straight forward.

This is pretty much what I figure. Indy and Pittsburgh will take care of the Ravens for us. I'm hoping Green Bay is up to a good game. Jacksonville can't be looking forward to Wisconsin in December. I'm assuming Denver will ose to Indy and probably win versus Tennessee. I've been saying I think the most critical game to Buffalo's playoff hopes other than the ones Buffalo plays it Denver at KC. I just hope KC is up to playing the role of spoiler. Obviously, Buffalo ought to beat Cleaveland and San Francisco, leaving Cincinnati as the next big game, and then of course Pittsburgh in the finale. Pittsburgh is looking a lot more beatable than they did a month ago though. Here's to hoping they have peaked. -
Not that I think he's right, but he does explain himself. The Rams have a share of their division lead. Buffalo does not. If that's among his criteria, then, I guess he has to go with that.

Congrats. I hope your next 5,000 posts go as well.

I didn't dig up any old posts, ICE, but sometimes I think you should make like your username and just chill. I have to admit though that your posts often make for interesting conversation.

I thought I was an ugly son of a gun. Oh yeah, I was right. -
Absolutely, saving time and money on something you don't enjoy (a long commute) is like getting a raise.

Moses was easy. I got suckered by the California widow.

Dropped on my head. I rushed it.

Yes, they let Miami move the ball too much in the first half yesterday via Feeley's passes, but unlike the last several years Buffalo is making interceptions. Rashad Baker got one yesterday. There are more where that came from. Pat Williams got one. Not sure there are more than where that came from. Overall I see it as a very good trend. We are still a net negative on turnovers. Steps have to be taken to cut down offensive turnovers and force more fumbles, but it's a good trend.

I would probably go with Schottenheimer, though Fox deserves consideration. If Buffalo runs the table, so does Mularkey. I don't care what the winning percentage of Buffalo's opponents is.

He's reputed to make some excellent wing sauce though. Unfortunately, I don't like Buffalo wings. -
They did a comparison of Bush with OJ Simpson's college days. They look pretty similar. Adrian Peterson of Oklahoma is pretty good too. Somewhere I heard this described as the year of the running back in college football. Apparently for good reason.

Small caps like that can make you a lot of money ore lose you a lot. The think about the stock market is if you miss the boat on one stock that caught fire, there is always another opportunity somewhere. Stern is not my cup of tea so I wouldn't have bought the stock if I thought it was going to be a ten bagger (a stock that multiplies in value by ten).

Hard to beat Star Wars for good swashbuckling fun. Close Encounters and Contact are probably better "serious science fiction," though.I was a Trekkie once. In retrospect Star Trek, the Next Generation was done better than the slightly campy original. It goes way back but "My Favorite Martian" with Bill Bixby and Ray Walston was fun. More recently it was Mork (was that the name of the series?) with Robin Williams and Pam Dawber. That lasted a couple seasons too long though.

Simple really, Pittsburgh owns the head to head tiebreaker for home field throughout over NE. If NE loses at least one more game and Pittsburgh wins the next four, then Pittsburgh may be motivated to rest a bunch of players for their final game against. . .Buffalo!. If Buffalo can win their next four, they still need to beat Pittsburgh to go 10-6. The less motivated Pittsburgh is to win the more realistic are Buffalo's chances to beat them. Besides losing is always good for the soul of New England fans!

He is an asset to the Bills rather than a liability, but it comes down to value. I don't know what his asking price will be. I don't think there is a player in the league who can be considered a "must have" at any price, not even Peyton Manning. I'd love to see the Bills re-sign him, but I'm not going to get bent out of shape if in the opinion of tom Donahoe his asking price is too high.
-
Of course, if Buffalo goes 10-6 for the season, that means that they were 10-2 over the last twelve games of the season with Drew at QB. That must mean the bills can win with Drew. I know Losman is the future, and whenever the future happens, I'm ready. But if Buffalo can win with Drew next year, I have no particular objections. My only serious misgiving is a lingering doubt that until further notice Drew is not going to be able to beat a Bill Belichik coached team (NE).

So, daquixers, while I generally agree with what you're saying about Pittsburgh and NE, I don't actually see your point. I expected to see a prediction, but I couldn't find one. -
Conventional wisdom says great defense will beat great offence. Pittsburgh has the best defense of the top three teams. In theory their defense trumps Indy's offence, but Pittsburgh's offence has started lookng pretty vulnerable the last few games. The Patriots arent as good on offence as Indy or as good as Pittsburgh on defence, but they are a more complete team than either. I don't think I'm ready to make a prediction. I only hope it's not the Patriots again. Patriot fans are insufferable enough as it is.
