The order for the supplemental draft is the same as for the April draft. When a team's turn comes up, they will either draft or pass. Wright was taken in the 5th round because for four complete rounds everyone passed. Wright was still there at the second spot in the fifth round. At that point Miami figured he was worth it. Miami will not have their own fifth round pick next April because they used it in the SD.

I'm assuming the reference to PW relates to the fact that Bills fans have been tough on Pat Williams since he left. I really don't mind Phat Pat leaving for greener pastures. I really think he's on the slippery downslope of his career, but even if he's not and makes the Pro Bowl for the next three years, I won't be bothered by that. What bothers me is his mouthiness. He took the money and ran. So what, but then he turned around and tried to blame the Bills organization for his decision. As far as I'm concerned, he only makes himself look selfish.

It will be interesting to see how Saban handles this one since he just canned another player for getting in trouble, for what was in my opinion a less serious offence than McMichael is alleged to have committed. The difference is McMichael might be considered a key play, while the other guy, a back up safety was not. Will Saban be consistent or will who you be more important than what you do?

I guess I'm out of touch but there are not many places on the whole list where I'd like to live.

Some in the national media obviously expect a huge setback with Losman starting. I think a modest setback is possible, but I would be extremely disappointed if Buffalo picked higher than the middle of the first round. I will also be very disappointed if by the end of the season JP Losman doesn't look like a solid NFL starter. Obviously, i9f the Bills take that huge step backward and Gandy in particular stinks, then Marcus McNeill is something of a no brainer pick, but I'm more optimistic at this point than that.

Whether McFarland succeeds or not, any comparison with Jerry Crafts is about 70 lbs off. McFarland's problem when he was drafted was he was about 20-30 lbs too light and needed to muscle up. Granted Crafts didn't have a lot of muscle, but he had plenty of bulk. The question is has McFarland been able to pack anything on to that listed weight of 290 lbs.

All according to taste. Some people would prefer a little "edgier" sound and don't pay as much attention wo whether or not it's in tune.

The cat I hit was the only pet I've ever hit. Had it died immediately I would have stopped, but I wasn't about to chase it into the brush to find out what happened. It looked very much alive running off the road.

I once hit a cat in Yorkshire, NY. The care just in front of me hit the same cat. It came out from under that car doing cartwheels. As I went over the top of it listening ans it hit the bottom of the full length of the car, I looked in my rear view mirror. When it stopped flying it landed on all fours and took off into the bushes to the side of Route 39. I figured he used up two of his nine lives that day. I've also taken out two deer. The first was a clean kill of a button buck. I put it in the trunk, reported it to the state police, got a friend to butcher it for me and ended up with about 20 lbs of good venison. The second deer was a number of years later. That ran off in the dark of night, so I don't know if it eventually died or not. I also got a turkey once a few smaller birds and I think maybe a rabbit. Having been a driver for 35 years, I really don't hit animals very often.

If Jason Bannan is being listed as a G/T, I wonder where that leaves Justin Peters in TD's plans.

First girl sang out of tune part of the time. He voice had a bit of a raunchy quality which I don't care for. Your girl Julie didn't put consonants at the end of words. Of course with the national anthem you know what the words are, but another song you might not be able to understand. Tone quality was good and she sang in tune. I am not a fan of the vocal ornamentation she was doing. The third girl sang it a little straighter, She had a very nice tone quality, sang in tune, and enunciated her words better. She sang it in a higher key and had no problems with the higher pitched notes. As a critic, I would say she did the best job.

So which is it, is she pretty, or good?

With the number of WRs on the roster, I don't think teams have enough high numbers to give them to all WRs. Once the season starts, I think the league has rules that would prevent WRs from having a # usually worn by a QB. I think you might be able to get throwback Roscoe Parrish jerseys with the #11 real cheap at Dick's Sporting Goods in a few months.

My baby brother (48 years old) lives in Hershey. His son has worked both in the park where he dressed up in one of those big cartoon character costumes, and as a tour guide in the Chocolate World exhibit.

This was discussed weeks ago somewhere, perhaps on another board. I personally don't mind the idea of using Wayne Gandy as a temporary patch on the line. Obviously, with his age he would not be a long term solution. I'm not sure that he is in the Bills' plans becuase of salry cap issues. If Wayne Gandy won't accept a pay cut to stay in the Big Easy, will he accept one to come to Buffalo? I don't know if TD would pay what he's earning in New Orleans right now.

I went to Hershey Park about 45 years ago (not a typo-45 years ago) and again about 4 years ago. It wasn't the same park at all. It's good sized and has all the requisite rides. The only think that I missed from the first time back in prehistory was the tour of the actual factory. Now they have a tour that shows the whole process of chocolate manufacture, but it's only models and animation etc., not the real deal. Ultimately, that is a very subjective decision though. To some Six Flags Darien Lake (which I like) and Hershey Park are worth it, to some they aren't.

I put the bulk of my money in more reliable companies, but I like to put some small amounts in high risk/high potential companies. I agree, it's not for the faint of herat, and you sure don't want to bet the family farm on it. I'm assuming you're speaking more about Torrent than Hyperdynamics, though both are losing money. Hyperdynamics has acquired a producing gulf coast property which gives it a revenue stream to help finance their African project. All of Torrents eggs are in the Coos Bay, Oregon project. If it doesn't pan out, or they run out of cash, their stock could end up being worthless.

The whole world knows the insurgents, and their allies, in Al Qaeda are animals, but know one seems to think it necessary to say so. They don't really respond to the court of public opinion. In fact, they probably relish the image they have for cruelty. The US, on the other hand has a great deal to lose in the court of public opinion. When it comes to the ethics of dealing with prisoners, the US can't be satisfied with being better than the insurgents. They have to do everything by the book. The world expects it and our image will suffer badly with anything less than that. It's not exactly fair, but it's a game we have to play and Al Qaeda and the insurgents are already playing it.
