The Houston Texan that tried to block him on that KO return bounced about 6 feet the other way. The same effect may have been produced if the guy had tried to block a Hummer.

Josh "Wrong Route No Hands" Reed -
I would suggest a date between November and June.

Bills make the playoffs. Scroll down to "guarrantee" #5. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/4824606?GT1=6902

My guess is that at this moment Holcomb's experience makes him the better QB. However, Losman's athleticism and arm strength give him far more upside. He's starting because by playing he can develop into that upside more quickly. I support that decision on the part of the Bills. If you was to see someone who right out supports starting Holcomb, you can check out the Range and look up posts by Shiva2999. Then again, he wanted the Bills to start Travis Brown when he was a Bill.

Cough, cough, gag, gag. That would be a no.

It's usually out on Wednesday. The place I usually find it earliest is at: www.billsdaily.com Hey, why didn't that automatically turn into a link like it usually does?

I am not an expert, so you can dismiss my opinion. I think the Bills OL is fairly talented, but thin, and I don't mean their waistlines. Gandy is a good technician, but a history of injuries has made his NFL career somewhat of a struggle. If he can stay healthy, he should be adequate at LT. Bennie Anderson is massive and strong, but as we've seen in preseason is prone to take penalties. My guess is he is probably a better run blocker than pass blocker, and that he would have more trouble with quick defensive linemen, than big strong ones. Teague is athletic and a good technician, but not terribly strong, and a better pass blocker than run blocker. Villarrial is a bllue collar kind of guy who is good at both pass blocking and run blocking, but isn't so outstanding that he gets noticed. Mike Williams is huge and strong, and a good athlete. My guess is if he has a weakness it is occasional lapses of concentration. Peters, as we've all heard seems to have all kinds of upside, and performed well in preseason, but his lack of experience could potentially let a smart DE get the better of him. Greg Jerman is flexible athletic, and smart, but Miami fans thought he sucked when in Miami. Duke Preston is smart and pretty athletic for a center/guard. Justin Geisinger is very strong and smart, but I think of all the linemen on the Bills roster, he struggled the most in preseason. He had a lot of penalties and his blocking broke down a number of times. I'd be worried if he ended up having to start for an extended period of time.

I think what he meant by that is it's "LaDaris Vann," not the other way around. He is a WR Buffalo signed, then assigned to NFL Europe. They apparently like him, and being on IR, he doesn't cost them a roster spot. He's cheap, so why not let him hang around.

Kevin Everett on the Practice Squad?!?!

It's fixed. -
Looking at the other side of it, Detroit has receivers that can play offensive tackle and free safety respectively.

Bills bringing in a kicker this week.
TigerJ replied to Mile High's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I read on the Billszone and the Range that WGR reports the Bills are giving a tryout to Todd France, recently cut by the Buccaneers. France actually outkicked the guy Gruden kept, but Gruden opted for experience. France kicked in NFL Europe. Oops, I see someone else beat me to it. Disregard this post. -
The Official "Syracuse Stinks" thread
TigerJ replied to Stevie's Johns0n's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, the offence wasn't potent, but at least it was offensive. I don't know which was worse, the utter lack of imagination in play calling or the complete lack of execution by the players. I think part of the problem was a complete overhaul of the offensive system using players recruited to play the old system. It just plain didn't work. The good news is Syracuse plays UB this week, but then again Jim Hoffer's crew might must have seen the Syracuse game and is drooling of the chance to beat a big name college program in a moment of weakness. -
Texans Looking To Confuse Losman
TigerJ replied to BillsGuyInMalta's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is a given that when a team starts a young QB for the first time, the opposing team is going to blitz a lot, and probably talk about it ahead of the time. The Bills faced a very tough defense in Chicago, so it's not as if it is a bnrand new thing to him. He's got to go through it at some point. Might as well get it over and done with. -
So, if the Bills lose you're throwing in the towel? I certainly agree it is important, and would really ease a lot of fears about the rest of the season, but I think this is one of those occasions where it's fair to say "must win" is an overused term.

My assumption is most of the shooting is limited to certain neighborhoods, and that medical care will be given where it is safe. I'd let her go.

Katrina: moral dilemma for Tallahassee hotels
TigerJ replied to Ramius's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I think this could be a problem for mor than just one game. A lot of people don't have homes to go back to. The government may have to step in before too long and try to help with a longer term solution. -
I guess he was wrong.

Attended Bills Practice At The Ralph Today
TigerJ replied to Mark VI's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nice report. Besides being covetous of someone with enough money to spring for premium seating, I'm glad it gives us an occasional eyewitness report after training camp is done with. -
As far as I'm concerned, it's a non issue. The people Ruben hates aren't here any more. Surprise, most Bills fans, and probably a few players currently with the Bills hate them too. Even if Ruben decides he hates the Bills organization too, there's not a lot he can do about it. He's not playing a position where he can really hurt someone with a good clean block. My guess is he'll have all he can handle trying to keep Sam Adams and Ron Edwards off of Hutchison. That's what he'll be thinking about. If anything, Mike Gandy's feelings toward his former team would seem to be more pertinent. It was the current coaching regime that cut him loose this off season. Hopefully, Alex Brown, the Bears' RDE won't get so much as a whiff of JP Losman's hair spray.

Anyone who saw/was at the game
TigerJ replied to MadBuffaloDisease's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To what other posters have said, let me add that the Bills' defense discounted the run too heavily on third and long, making them vulnerable to draw plays. That's how Green Bay made a lot of their third down conversions. In the regular season Jerry Gray would want to make adjustments, and fast, when that happens. -
I've never been to St. John Fisher, but I think just from what I've heard, I like Fredonia better. I like "low key" amd "basic football without a lot of frills. I understand why they went to Rochester though.

Anyone have a Tiger in their Senior Photo?
TigerJ replied to smokinandjokin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm in my senior picture. Does that count? Actually I didn't pick up the moniker ("Tiger") until well after I was out of high school. -
I think when cuts are made his number will get changed. I think the league only lets receivers wear numbers that low during preseason because there aren't enough numbers available in the normal WR range and there are extra numbers available down in the QB range.
