Met the mother of a current Bill this week
TigerJ replied to Thurman#1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We saw no bears in the wild. We did see moose and mule deer. And bison, of course. We drove doen one side of the road while a line of bison walked singgle file in the other lane in the correct direction for the road. We stayed in the car, but we saw some idiot outside almost nose to nose with a bison trying to get a close up. The Darwin awards do come to mind with a lot of things that tourists do. -
Met the mother of a current Bill this week

I suppose I can overlook your ignorance in view of the fact you were out of touch for a couple weeks. LOL Cool story. BTW, I spent a great vacation there 25 years ago. We stayed at the Lizard Creek campground at the northern end of the Grand Teton NP. Every evening we had a gopher visit our campsite. -
Bills' Fan Gets an Allen Hurdle Tattoo
TigerJ replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not into tattoos, but if I were, I actually think Allen's Superman imitation as he's flying toward the pylon is the better pose. -
Hmm. Interesting. Quitting on the Titans is certainly a red flag, but I'm not quite ready to dismiss him automatically. I'd invite him in and have a heart to heart. I don't think McBeane has any intentions of making the Bills a pass happy team, but if he were to come in and show he can get open and catch the ball when it's thrown to him, the path to the top of othe depth chart is open to him. I imagine under those circumstances he would get enough targets to keep him happy. McBeane would have to decide if his quitting in Tennessee is an indicator of future issues or not.

I'd love to see if Ledyard has made any post Minnesota comments on Allen.

I'm still waiting for some fool to wager $5,000 on the Packers. An extra bit of insurance never hurts.

A win cer4tainly looks doable now, but mistakes could easily lead to defeat. Just play the game, and play it well!

I hope Vontae isn't feeling self important over the turn of events. I hope Rodak isn't feeling an inflated ego for even bringing up the notion.. Aren't there real things he could report on, like how Buffalo was able to trade away a worthless lineman and sign a free agent who could probably be as productive?

Just no!

Call it homerism...but we WILL beat the Packers

Could someone please put $5,000 on the Packers to help the Bills' cause Sunday? -
Marshall Newhouse traded - Signed Jeremiah Sirles
TigerJ replied to One Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Something for nothing is still a good trade. The Bills just got a bit younger, and got rid of some failure. -

Boettger played more guard in preseason, I think. It almost has to be Conor McDermott. -
Is Thad Brown the dumbest Bills media personality?
TigerJ replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Peterman plays against Minnesota the way he played in preseason, then yes, the Bills win. Unfortunately for the Bills and Peterman, when the bullets were real in the first game versus Baltimore, Peterman pulled aTrent Edwardian "deer in the headlights" act, and couldn''t do anything right. I was a Peterman supporter going back to last season, and I think he could still in theory right his career and achieve success on the field, but there is no way he is Josh Allen's equal. -
Week 4: Packers Game Preparation - Inactives Announced

Any coach who lets his team take its next opponent for granted needs to be fired ASAP. I know some have said he's a lousy coach, but I don't see Mike McCarthy attempting to immitate Wrecks Ryan. -
ESPN power rankings always demonstrate a certain amount of inertia when it comes to certain teams. Buffalo is one of those teams. They are one of the slowest to move the Bills up after the Bills experience some success. New England is always going to be moved down very slowly when they have losses. To a certain extent, that can be justified by Bill Belichick's long record of success, which includes years when the Patriots start out struggleing and end up winning the Super Bowl. If Buffalo beats Green Bay, I could see them moving up in the 26-27 range. I've seen other power rankings today where the Bills are as high as 26.

The Ringer: We Take it All Back - Josh Allen is Good
TigerJ replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They must like to eat crow. The Bills have ample opportunity to oblige them. -
Calling it right now Bills will win next 2 games
TigerJ replied to 17 Josh Allen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Buffalo is catching Green Bay at a good time (for Buffalo). It certainly looks like a winnable game. I'll worry about Tennessee after next week. -
Opposing defenses will adjust to Allen going forward
TigerJ replied to TigerJ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I also wouldn't bet $5,000 on the Bills to win just yet either. -
I'm OK with Zo playing another year, but Buffalo needs to plan of adding a young strong side backer with starting potential, because you neven know whan a guy Zo's age is going to hit the wall, or get injured. Father Time is undefeated

Bulaga and Wilkerson likely out next week
TigerJ replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Obviously, if the Bills can beat Minnesota, they have the potential to beat a lot of other teams, including the Packers, if some things go their way. I don't want to become overconfident as a fan, however, and I sure don't want the players to become overconfident.
