Running back measurements are in. http://www.walterfootball.com/combine/weighin/RB Bryce Love is under 5'9"

A good place to find charts with all the measurements and test numbers from the combine: http://www.walterfootball.com/combine.php

Not sure. Allen got a lot of his yards last season scrambling. In theory, an upgraded offensive line, better weapons and improving ability in Josh Allen to make reads and find the open receiver in the passing game will reduce the number of times that it is necessary for him to scramble. Unless Daboll wants to add a bunch of designed runs to the offense, I would not be surprised to see Allen's running yards to go down. I'm not sure why Daboll would want to do that if the offense is working well without putting his QB at risk.

Some draft buzz on discussion of Titans/trade up...
TigerJ replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the odds are both will be gone before #9. If that is the case, Buffalo's best chance for a trade down might be a team being desperate enough for a QB they they would trade up for Drew Lock. A while ago there was buzz that Denver is hot for Lock at #10. If that is still a an active rumor by the end of April, and Denver doesn't preemptively trade up from #10, Buffalo may get interest from a few teams wishing to jump ahead of Denver. -
If the best player available is way better than the next guy on your board, but he plays a position where your team is already really strong, it does present a bit of a dilemma. You can draft him and become even stronger. There is a possibility you could eventually trade another player on your team at the same position to recoup some of the draft capital you spent on the new guy. You could also, if you find a trading partner, trade the pick. Probably the least desirable alternative is drafting a significantly lesser player for the sake of need. Doing that over time will drag down the talent level of your team.

Bills hire away Dolphins Director of Analytics
TigerJ replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe Lock wanted to leave the team because after he did the research, the team didn't want to listen to his advice. I think with Adam Gase there was a certain level of dysfunctionality with the team. -
If the NFL thing doesn't work out for him, he might have a career in cinema as a viking. Unfortunately, they don't make too many viking movies

What Punishment Will the NFL Kraft for the Champs Owner ?
TigerJ replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They are not. I think the league will wait for the legal process to move along. While it seems like the authorities have "smoking gun" evidence against Kraft, I think the league will want to be dead sure Kraft is guilty before they take on one of the more respected owners in the league. When they do, the penalty will be measured. Kraft will be treated as a first time offender. I presume the league has some fairly specific guidelines they would use for players. I think they will adhere pretty closely to those guidelines for Kraft. -
From the sounds of it, Dion Sims has a lot to offer a team. He's probably not going to be your big play threat or a starter, but he's is a solid blocker, has excellent size, and is a pretty good athlete. He's not a burner, but he's faster than a lot of tight ends. He's got a nice vertical jump and big soft hands. I wouldn't object at all to giving him a contract worthy of a solid second stringer. I would look to draft a guy for my third tight end.

We contacted a lawyer for a non-profit agency that works with illegal aliens. She wants to stay in this country because she can send money home to her mom and stepdad. He is a commercial fisherman, a very low paying job in China. She opted not to talk to the lawyer we contacted. She has been working with a lawyer for the agency that brought her to this country in the first place. They want her to get married in this country. She has moved in with a boyfriend. The government knows about her now, and I think there is something going on, but I am not privy to that information. We got to know her when she was working in Corning, NY. She has since been in Texas, Virginia (twice) and is now in Boston, MA. She and my wife text back and forth on occasion. We only know what she tells us.

Agreed on Marquise Brown. Despite his obvious speed, GMs are going to be very nervous about expecting more than a role player from a receiver who is under 170 lbs. The combine and pro days were going to be his chance to put on a little muscle and show he still had a elite speed while weight a little more. That chance is gone.

The Chinese buffet restaurant where you like to get those crab legs may well engage in human trafficking. My wife and I know a girl who has been shipped around the country as an illegal alien to various Chinese restaurants. Because they are illegal aliens, they are afraid to go to the authorities to complain about pay that is well under the minimum wage and hours well in excess of what labor laws allow.

I don't think that Antonio Brown is likely to fit Brandon Beane's definition of a "judicious" acquisition given the cost both in terms of draft picks and salary. There's also the question of process and Brown's potential happiness in a run first offense led by a second year QB most would still call raw.

I think it's probably OK to sign him to a backup level contract, without making a long term commitment. The Bills need upgrades in a lot of areas. I would be cautious about creating more holes.

My take on the categorical denials is that it reflects on the credibility of Kraft and the entire Patriots organization. If they ever had it, it's gone now. If they're gonna lie about something when there is hard video evidence, they will lie about anything: deflated balls, video spying, jamming radio signals for opposing teams sending plays in to QBs - everything.

I went through a couple pages of responses and didn't see this, so I'll say it. If someone already mentioned it, I apologize. This was not just prostitution. The girls in this massage parlor were bought and paid for by the owners and brought to this establishment against their will. So it's not just engaging in an act with a prostitute, it's supporting human trafficking and the sex slave industry. The only thing we don't know for certain is whether or not he knew about how the girls were procured for this business. Good job Mr. Kraft. We have always heard what a fine upstanding many you are.

LeVeon Bell: What better fit for him than Buffalo?
TigerJ replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Beane should talk to Bell's agent just for the sake of due diligence, but if Bell's asking price is firm at 25 million per year, Beane won't and shouldn't come close. -
Bills to play one of their preseason games in Charlotte
TigerJ replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have visited my wife's sister and her family. They actually live in Denver, North Carolina The money is pretty obvious. They are in a 3000 sq. ft home on a good acre plus of land and probably 200 feet of prime lake front. I live in an 1100 sq ft home in the Rochester suburbs. I'm very happy with 1100 sq ft. -
Report: Bills interested in UFA TE Jesse James
TigerJ replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He might give the Bills more production than Thomas. He's a big boy, but not especially athletic. He might be a better blocker than Thomas. I don't think the Bills would expect him to be a starter, but he'll give them something as a depth player. I think Croom would start ahead of him.
