Has there been any comment from McDermott on the injury. He specified Wallace and Milano as week to week. The fact that he did not do so (to my knowledge) for Tre White suggests it's probably day to day.

The jets are a laughing stock on Fox sports

The real story is that Adam Gase unleashed his evil eye, but unfortunately has terrible aim. He hit his own team. -
Week 5: Bills at Titans on Tuesday Night Football
TigerJ replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
More detail on the Titans unauthorized workout. A local Nashville station reports that 15 Titans players got together for a workout one day after 8 positive COVID tests were reported. The report gave the location of the workout. Obviously, that is not the entire team, but it's a big enough number to think someone in the group could have had COVID. One thing is clear, some heads are going to roll in Nashville. Maybe somebody can write a country and western song about it. -
Week 5 - Sunday's work attire. (hopefully)

If we want to be the new America's Team, maybe they should wear red tops with blue pants and white helmets. -
Already a thread, started four hours ago.

Week 5: Bills at Titans on Tuesday Night Football
TigerJ replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Heard on One Bills Live: Apparently last week, while the Titans facilities were closed, Titans players took it upon themselves to have an unauthorized practice session on their own, in violation of league protocols. Now they're wondering why they keep on having positive COVID tests. Duh! Make them forfeit. -
Titans player test positive today 10/7

So, what do you do with the KC - Denver game already scheduled for October 25? Denver and KC have different bye weeks, so moving KC - Buffalo to October 26 involves additional juggling, if it is even possible. -
If the Titans can't play on Sunday, all the schedule adjustments the Bills could make won't help them play the Titans later in the season, since the Titans had their adjusted bye week this past Sunday. The league can either extend the season, give the Bills a win in a forfeiture by the Titans or just cancel the game and use winning percentages rather than number of wins and losses in determining playoff seedings. The latter is at least potentially unfair to the Bills if they would have won the Titans game.

The latest communications from the league state that punishments for teams that protocol violations include forfeiture of games and draft choices. I don't know that this was specified in the original policies developed by the league, but I think they mean business now. BTW, I checked the stat line for Hurst from the game. He apparently didn't get too close the Buffalo's skill players that often. He had one tackle and one assist. It's the interior linemen who had most of the contact .

1st Quarter Season Awards Standings
TigerJ replied to RalphWilson'sNewWar's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I said in another thread Matt La Fleur will get consideration for coach of the year. The fact that Andy Reid coach the Super Bowl winners, who were expected to repeat, weighs against him. People like to give that award to somebody who can succeed against the odds over someone who succeeds with the odds in their favor. -
Anyone Else Having Trouble Dealing with this Success?
TigerJ replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not really. The one thing I hope is that, if Buffalo experiences some continued success, fans don't become smug and entitled like New England fans have been for years. We can be better than that, I hope. -
Mohamed Sanu getting released by Niners
TigerJ replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That too. -
Matt LaFleur will get some consideration. The Packers may be the best team in the NFC and the offense is doing it with receivers nobody knows. Both starters, Lazard and Adams were out Sunday. What hurts LaFleur is the fact Green Bay won 13 games last season. There's not a lot of room for improvement, and year to year improvement is one thing people look at.

I do know he's not coming to Buffalo. No room. -
[Incomplete Title] Brett Favre compares Josh to ...
TigerJ replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am among those who think Allen compares more closely to Favre than Brady, but I'll take it. If you took Favre's arm strength and occasional penchant for "What were you thinking" plays with Brady's mental sharpness, I think that's not too far off the mark for Allen. I think he will become even more consistent over time. -
Settle it in the Super Bowl!

Sign of the End Times - Jerry Sullivan
TigerJ replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
"Let’s start by taking care of one major piece of business. You might want to brace yourselves, and no, my brain has not been inhabited by sinister creatures from some other planet. The Bills are good enough to reach the Super Bowl. There, I said it. " It's nice to see he has a sense of humor about it. He is well aware he's been Negative Nancy for years in WNY. -
The reasoning, of course, is that the Ravens only loss is to the top team and defending Super Bowl champions. Buffalo has a chance to set things straight in 9 days.

Agreed.

At 4-0 Bills Have a Comfortable Cushion for Playoffs Run
TigerJ replied to thronethinker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If KC holds on against New England and Buffalo beats the Titans next week, bring this up again and see if we're any more comfortable. Probably not. If we then beat the Chiefs the following Thursday, then maybe. -
Why did they fire him? They could have traded head coaches with the Jets, one offensive genius for another.
