  1. What is there to lose? It has to get better, and as a poster said, one has to wonder if the Duke wouldn't have caught that ball that was tipped in the end zone for the int.
  2. I am a big Josh supporter but I thought he played poorly against Cincinnati. I didn't see the game yesterday but it sounded bad. Real bad. That being said, I feel about this game like I felt about the Texans game last year: i.e. if Josh was there at the end the Bills would have won. I also now think that this weeks Titans game is the inflection point for the season. Win, we rise, lose, we fall.
  3. I listened to the entire thing. One thing that struck me is that the level of inquiry from the Press Corps was quite high. I had to wonder if BB had beaten that into them over the years so that they know they should have intelligent on point football questions to ask. I also translated his responses and synthesized it came out as this "We want to beat them 44-3 and totally demoralize them for the remainder of this season. I want to get in the QB's head and humiliate him so he understands he will never beat a team that I coach". That is not verbatim but an approximation of what that Coach said at that PC.
  4. I think this is going to be a tough game for the Bills. Tre is not 100% and Boyd and Ross are very good. If the Bengals get bad guy J. Mixon going we will suffer. I also think we are going to miss Devin quite sorely. The turnovers will tell the outcome.
  5. I think I will take this just one week at a time and stay focused on this week's opponent.
  6. I've moved past it. I am preparing for Cincinnati.
  7. This. If it is so traumatic, and one is on notice of sexual assault proclivity, why in the world, is this accuser then putting herself in that position continuously? Weak suit.
  8. This is a winnable game and the Bills should concentrate, work hard and take care of that win. Focus, eliminate turnovers and get the job done. I think it will take 27 offensive pints for the Bills to overcome.
  9. I think that the Giants are a much better Offense than the Jets and the Bills will have to not turn the ball over to the G-Men and score proficiently to pull out this Road Victory. The Giants O-Line is improved and I think they will score without the assistance of our giving them the ball haphazardly. Our Offense seems to be designed around sustained drives driven by a short distance passing game. This requires persistence and the ability to complete the task before making a mistake, or having a penalty stall the drive. 17 points won't do it.
  10. The Jets lack depth due to jettisoning their second round picks for Darnold and spending significant sums of money on Bell and Mosely, both good, but no depth. The Browns got caught up on their "media win' and forgot to show and play.
  11. The Giants will be very competitive, but they appear weak in some spots on defense. but they do have plenty of offensive weapons and a veteran QB. I think Vegas will give the Giants the 3 point spread for the Home Field. Otherwise even until the Bills show better.
  12. Pete Carroll, Bill B. or Andy Reid are the guys I think. Carroll seems to take a lot of troubled souls and handles them as well as anyone.
  13. Ratings and attention. Now Gruden is going to look even worse; he should have backed his GM, but chose Brown thus undermining Mayock. Now Brown has betrayed him again. Seahawks, Chiefs or Patriots.
  14. I guessed 8-8. I think the defense is going to disappoint and Josh will have a clunker or two. Getting close, but no pass rush and an offense experiencing growing pains leads to slight improvement. This is "over" the Las Vegas experts and "under" the Board optomists.
  15. My thoughts on the O-Line are that Spain has been a huge disappointment. Not good at all, looks out of shape, penalties, injuries. We will see. Bates has looked good, but a small sample size so far. S. Long has not been good. Feliciano and Ty N. look good, and Ford seems better at guard. So I would like Dawkins, Feliciano, Morse, Ford, Ty N.
  16. Again I disagree. If this were a multiyear proposition maybe. But not that much for a 1 year rental .
  17. I am not sure what to think about this. In my opinion the value going back to Houston can only be for the one year rental. There are no guarantees after that. So the value would have to be just measured against one year. I suspect Philly, a realistic Super Bowl Contender, will be motivated to provide the most value back to Texas. I like Darryl Johnson.
  18. I thought the defense looked a little weak. Beyond not generating any pass rush, there were wide open receivers that their QB (Allen) missed. Easy completions for Cam. Carolina ran the ball effectively, at times, as well. Carolina Allen did totally ignore Tre's side of the field and targeted Wallace relentlessly. So that CB2 is going to have to step up
  19. I think that Ducasse came along with the former O-Line Coach, Castillo. Vlad was Castillo's guy and Vlad won't be around. It seems, and I could be wrong, that they would rather have Ford at Guard at this point. The Washington guy played well last night, but I did see Ford whiff on a block early in the game and Sweeney must have missed a chip block on the sack of Allen.
  20. Doesn't Thad Tweet and report from the OTA's and mini-camps? And there were some reports that Cody was getting beat regularly around the edge by Trent Murphy.
  21. Maybe Titus Howard has been showing his 3rd Round pedigree?
  22. I think that Johnson looks better in shorts and non-contact. His strengths are his quickness and speed, but if I remember correctly KJ struggles with tackling and physicality. So it stands up to reason that KJ does well now, at this stage, but as so many people say, We will see when the "pads come on".
  23. Perry was signed to shore up the dreadful Special Teams. I think he will make the roster.
  24. I think this is a step in the right direction
  25. I think that if the Quarterback stays healthy we will trounce the 6.5 o/u. My experience is that the rookies need almost a half of a season to show their stuff. The LB the Bears took last year (Roquan) who was so highly pitched took 7/8 games to show up. But he did, and that is what I am looking for from EO.
