I had never heard of Tredavious White, when the name was called.

When I was mock GM of the Saints in the TSW Mock Draft I felt the opposite approach best served the roster. I think the Saints need as many good young players on rookie deals as possible to begin to bring balance back to payroll. I would be surprised if Mickey Loomis continued to push the envelope by giving draft capital for a high pick salary.

I don't question BBB much. But I do not think he should reach for a mediocre pass rusher over a better talent available. Even if that player does not appear to be an area of need.

On Friday, I think, BBB will select one of T. Shelvin, A. McNeill or B. Brown, III. I am excited to see which one, and under what circumstances.

Houston’s Payton Turner rising up draft boards (4:45 PM ET) Yesterday, I mentioned Davis Mills as the fastest rising player on draft boards. If there is an equivalent on defense, it would be Houston defensive lineman Payton Turner. Turner is coming off a terrific senior season as well as three good days of practice at the Senior Bowl. Most who I’ve spoken with tell me Turner will be selected ahead of Miami’s Gregory Rousseau, and he has an outside shot of landing in the late part of Round 1. OT - but reading down I saw this and felt that would be The Bills.

I think they are all going top 15. Thank you Gunner, good work. I would interested to see the second tier, as that may be where someone wants to move up to 30 for one of the "other 3".

I heard that Adebo is "cut too high". That his long legs make it difficult to make quick changes and "flip his hips". I have never seen him play.

With the 105th selection in the TSW Mock Draft the New Orleans Saints select Payton Turner DL Houston. The haul is nice: Moehrig Levi O. Tylan Wallace Payton Turner. We will review these in a few years, but the Saints feel good about the draft. Thanks to the 50% of those who signed up and continued to take active part after the 35th pick and/or the 7th WR selected.
