I think that hubris is bad karma. I think the weather will affect both sides evenly.
I think it will come down to solid fundamental football...assignments, tackling, catching the ball, blocking, hold onto the ball. Things like that.
I think that Herbert is receiving more help from his playmakers and O-Line. Josh has not been great, but the rhythm is often interrupted by drops and holding penalties. The Bills offense is sputtering but it is an 11 man problem, not Josh's problem.
I think that there is too much emphasis here on the weather, and not enough on football. The Miami Football team will be fine. This will be a close and competitive game.
Back to Bills O-Line issues and avoiding mistakes. Catch the ball, hold onto the ball stuff like that.
I think that the heavy investment in the Defensive Line is not only a key element of the McDermott Defensive theme (rotation) but also is a great strategy for these cold weather home games down the stretch. The way the D-Line played against the jersey b team was very encouraging. The strong line play in those elements played a part in the defensive stifling the opposition and I think we will see some of that again on Saturday.
Good day but the Bills have to control what they can control. And that is next week against the Jets.
I did notice the Lions were rested and strong after their 10 days between games. Jets are tough. 1 at a time.
I think Bobby Hart is not very good, but he is the 3rd string Guard and 4th string offensive Tackle.
At Guard he is bad, but not laughably horrendous. Also, at OT he did almost ok on run plays.
Agree.
OL is weak and no slot.
The routes are poorly conceived with poor spacing. Many times, I see two receivers very near each other thus bring a bunch of defenders into the area.
The magic is mostly gone, and it is a tough grind.
Our Division is very difficult. Miami and NJJ are for real and the Patriots are not slouches, especially in NE.
4-2 would be respectable under the circumstances of our wounded team.
I think the Bills pass defense has been poor the past two contests and the Lions are prolific at scoring points. The Bills will, again, probably need north of 30 points to win on Thursday.
The 8 yard loss was the facemask tackle by Clowney.
