At Mock Pick 54 the LA Chargers select Julius Brents CB Kansas State. After providing Justin Herbert with TE Kincaid in the 1st the Chargers get to work on a very weak secondary by drafting a tall and rangy CB. Julius Brents is a nice run defender and aggressive tackler. @mannc with the Detroit Lions is on the clock. @Virgil

The draft miss on Terrell Bernard is the reason the Bills will have to reach for need again this year in the first round. I will never understand how wrong this pick was, and why?

The Colts understand that they have a weak roster and need to build up with some talent. The loved Ringo but had Cam Smith CB South Carolina rated slightly higher. With Corner being a premier, and expensive, position in the modern game, the Colts opt for the top-rated corner and player on their board at pick number 35. Cam Smith has great speed and length, tracks the ball well and gets his head turned around nicely. 3 years battling the SECs finest, including a stoning of Jalin Hyatt, Cam Smith should contribute immediately and blossom into a well above average corner for the Colts Defense. With the 35th pick in the TSW Mock Draft the Indianapolis Colts select Cam Smith CB South Carolina. The Rams and @NewEra are up to bat. @Virgil

The Chargers War Room was a cacophony of opposing views last evening. The majority wanted to provide help for their young QB but the elephant in the room is that the back end of the defense is atrocious. The Maryland CB thus had some supportive voices, but the decision was finally made to give Justin Herbert another weapon. The Las Angeles Chargers select Dalton Kincaid, TE, Utah with the 21st mock draft selection in the TSW Mock Draft. Mr. Kincaid is a nice route runner with good hands who is a willing blocker for the run game. @NeverOutNick for the Baltimore Ravens is now up to bat. @Virgil

At the 4th Selection in Virgil's Annual TSW Mock Draft the Indianapolis Colts draft Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida. There was a long look at Will Levis and some flirtation with a Ravens trade, but the idea of a young QB, even one who the Colts hope to sit for a full season, on a rookie deal swayed the decision to Anthony. A. Richardson is a high upside project. The Colts will likely again sign a veteran to handle the reigns while AR is brought up to speed. The Seattle Seahawks @section122 are on the clock.

I can take a second team if needs be.

Sadly, I agree with this rather negative viewpoint. The strategy does seem to be to pick up a bunch of B-/C+ types that are castoffs. I am in favor pf a 1st pick OL, if the player is there.

My thought is that Terrell Bernard is a disappointment and is not up to that task. If I am wrong, I will be happy, but to my eyes TB can't make any plays.

Bernard was a healthy scratch for the Cincinatti Playoff game. I like to look for the good in everyone and stay optimistic, but I do not understand the Bernard thing at all.
