We're supposed to be impressed that he's become a SJW?  Please... for the record Baltimore spends the second highest amount per student for any school district in the country.  http://www.newsweek.com/do-baltimore-schools-need-more-money-329085.  Want to be a real "hero" and help kids?  Take on the NEA and AFT.

Wow.  You sound like loads of fun.  I genuinely wish I could swear in this forum.

I would really love for anybody -- anybody at all -- to explain to me how what happened with this tax bill last night was okay. The last minute hand-written additions, the fact that many of said additions were literally being written by lobbyists, the fact that no one had any real time to read or debate this bill, the fact that even the people voting FOR it didn't know what was in it, the fact that it does cartoon-villain things like give tax breaks to private jet owners...This whole process was absolutely vile and a complete attack on common sense and democracy.

"The party of fiscal responsibility". Sure.

I'd like to know something from those that agree with this bill - are there any benefits of cognitive dissonance other than the warmth of having your head up your a**.

And Spence, while a better pass rusher.... is also limited and one dimensional, has only generally been used situationally and has played much worse in year 2 than his relatively average year 1.  I take the point that if you are going to be one dimensional you might prefer a one dimension that is pass rush... but he is a lesser player than Shaq to me at this stage.

Agree.  I think Shaq has been a good player so far.  Not an all pro obviously but I think if you end up with a good player at 19, you have to be happy.  I just really don't know who all of the Shaq haters would have preferred.

Also, while it's still very early in the game, there are not a lot of guys drafted after Shaq that stand out as better picks. Obviously Dak Prescott would have been nice, but nobody saw that coming. When you look at the guys that a team would have reasonably drafted at 19, the Shaq pick holds up pretty well so far.

I'm surprised that didn't come up before now.  I just looked at that draft and I think the only guys worth hindsight consideration at 19 are Myles Jack and Noah Spence.
