After the last 2 weeks it is no longer a question on if we need to make a trade....we need to sign someone and if we don't then we are going to struggle to even make the post season and will be bounced right out the first game

Frazier defense relies on edmunds being used almost like a 3rd safety in the middle of the field on passing downs....what a waste of a true physical specimen such as edmunds......the scheme is very simple and there is a reason most of the nfl has phased out of the college and highschool cover 2 looks.......it isn't effective anymore

Its defense all the way..our offense is good enough right now if dabol gets his head out of his ass trying to force an up the middle power run game with finesse type backs

Edmunds role in the tampa 2 is to drop into the deep middle of the field almost like a safety....edmunds is being ruined by this coaching staff....he is not a deep middle coverage lber...he is suited for the olb and to attack downhill not cover and read The defense only gave up 26 points bc chiefs just ran the ball at will and limited our offense chances they had the ball.....leaving your defense on the field for 40 minutes bc you are more worried of the deep ball is a failure....by the time late 3rd and the 4th rolls around they are useless and worn out

When has our defense ever did that against an above average team?......we have to have comebacks against average or even below average teams....maybe if the could have forced one stop after we cut the lead we could have had another 4th q comeback...

Our 4th quarter comebacks are not to do with our defense lol

Its a soft cover zone mentality ingrained into them from their coach....Frazier is a bum and is highly overated on here...last year if we had wade phillips the defense could have possibly got us to the afccg.....The retread tony dungy/lovie smith tampa 2 is 🗑

Complete bull#### considering the weather was going to help the defenses from the onset......i hate these coaches inability to diagnose its not working and correct the issue.....you stop the run game and short passes by playing a man to man and have edmunds spy mahomes all damn game......adjustments are meant to be ingame and our coaches never have an answer

We tried to force a power run game up the gut with singletary for 2 1/2 quarters

i disagree.....we gave no confusing looks or lined up differently.....we continued to protect the deep field and allowed them to gash us that bad......evident by the last two chief drives where we started firing run blitzes and cheating the safeties up a bit with closer coverage....nope it was a defense scheme problem and an inability to know when to take your chances and shots.....very vanilla against an elite team and we lose everytime......was a bad game plan all around both offense and defense.....we tried to force a power run game up the middle for 2 and a half quarters and played a soft cover 2 with 2 deep safetys all game

Lets not act like if we adjusted and shut down the run that mahomes and them wouldnt have gashed us across the middle all game

26 points is a moot point when they had 17,16,and 19 play drives for 18 minutes in just them 3 drives.......they ran the ball and killed the clock bc they never felt threatened to have to throw or score much.......safeties being 25 yards off the ball amd cbs giving untested 10 yard cushions and lbers 15 yards deep with just your front 4 to stop a scrambling mahomes or a run spells doom......as a coach you put your players at the best position to succeed according to their talent level....Frazier actually is scheming against our strengths this year........he is pounding a square peg into a roumd hole and we are on the verge to statistically be the worst defense in Buffalo Bills history by years end. ...white/hyde/poyer/milano/edmunds says its a scheme problem along with players checking out...white making a frustrated dumb penalty late in the game...followed up by poyer doing the same?....these are very good vets and you can see the frustration......the scheme must change with what we have....we dont have star and lawson or phillips and lost alexander....we do not have the front 4 to make last years scheme work...we do have playmakers and solid players on defense its now up to our d coordinator and head coach to come up with a hybrid scheme to compensate for our losses from last year....they have had 6 weeks now and have not solved a thing...and its not that we have seen different schemes and other things....we are running the same vanilla ***** week after week!

Exactly!...even in perfect conditions a deep ball is a 60% chance...Frazier is perfectly content to allow the 5 yard runs and the underneath stuff...he would rather protect the deep ball...makes zero sense bc its hanging our defense out to dry with 17 play demoralizing drives!......bring the safeties and lbers up tighter/jam the recievers off the line/play edmunds in mlb,olb and even de sometimes....show blitz and back off into exotic coverages with plenty of pre snap motion.....its just an overall bland defense scheme and allows teams to beat us by 100 cuts instead of a single stab.....very basic defense this year and it is 100% a coaching and scheme issue

Frazier is a weak link...houston game last year sealed who he is to me.....the cover 2 will alwats be exposed by good teams....sure we may whomp on average to bad teams but this defense will never win against playoff caliber teams period....cover 2 is a college level defense...it should not be our base defense...the holes in the zone are too simple to beat for good teams with good olines...and having our safetys in deeper set than even a traditional cover 2 will have us torched in the short and intermediate yards....its a glorified prevent defense and is 🗑

The defense is affecting every aspect of the game....we need to stop protecting the deep ball and let the cards fall...oh and move edmunds to olb

The players have checked out of the conservative frazier defense....Frazier has lost the locker room imo....when white and poyer both have late game frustrating undisciplined play...that tells me all i need to know

I beg to differ......you are getting beat all game on runs and short to intermediate of the field...cbs giving 10 yard cushions all game and safetys 25 yards deep on the snap...no qb spy,no stacked boxes,no bringing the safetys up to help in run support and short to intermediate passes in the middle?.....mahomes said it in his post game...Bills played the deep ball all game and we took what they gave us....how does stopping lower percentage big play have our coordinator selling out every other way a team can beat you....and how come there was again NO adjustments until the last chiefs few drives?.....come on Its a coaching issue more so than a players problem....your coach should put the platers in the best scheme to win given what the opponent is doing

Is their any doubt that FRAZIER is deathly afraid of the lower percentage deep ball that he neglects all the other ways a team can beat you?.....we would be better suited to play the run and short to intermediate field and be prone to getting beat once in awhile deep than gashed all game on long 17 play drives killing your defense and demoralizing your offense

#1 a DC who has no ability to scheme to his rosters strengths to hide our weakness....hyde/poyer/edmunds/white/milano and our defense is on pace to be the worst in franchise history?....ummm no its on our DC to get the most from his players and Frazier has failed...white and then poyer both having undisciplined penalties in crucial late game points?...the players have checked out of this defense and are sinking the entire ship....mcdermott has only one option and that is to relieve frazier of calling the defense and atleast attempt to salvage it..and the only way that can be done is you leave the soft zone cover 2 bs with 25yard deep safetys and 10 yard cushion cb schemes in the 🗑 where it belongs....we dont have the front 4 for the bend but dont break to not collapse...we must bring our safeties up in run and intermediate pass help and stop worrying about the homerun big play

He is the absolute Biggest issue on defense...he has our players consistently in the wrong scheme... He has no presnap motions or disguised blitzes...no ability to adjust and change his game plan to what the other team is doing...he has absolutely no clue how to stop what is beating him amd continues to trot out the same *****

No i seriously want Frazier gone and McDermott to call the defense for the rest of the season then get a more aggressive minded dc and never have to hear bend but dont break again

No its about time the #3 defense from last year is expected to win a game when the offense is having issues.

gashed all day in the run game and you consistently have our safeties 25 yards deep off the snap..failed to get aggressive until the final chiefs drive and by then it was too late....cbs 10 yard cushions..edmunds on an island squatting in no mans land...no stacked boxes...no disguised coverages...no jamming the recievers at the line....no spy for a running qb etc etc etc.....mcdermott must make a statement....defense on pace to be the worst in franchise history.....with poyer/hyde/edmunds/tre white/milano that seems highly impossible

He will immediately be the feature back and get loads of touches in both running and out of the backfield catching....Bell still has it and has a point to prove...Buffalo gives him what he wants....the SPOTLIGHT....he wont be ***** in miami or get the opportunities in KC... If he wants to just take the jets money and run while living a slacker life then it will be miami...if he wants to stick it to the jets who we play again and then even his old team Pittsburgh who we play this year he chooses Buffalo He will choose Buffalo...he is arrogant and wants to be talked about as one of the best...its the perfect script for the nfl also...he will be a Bill
