  1. Depends how long this staff retains their jobs..as long as this staff stays in Buffalo we have already seen our peak..losing dabol was huuuge....he would have made a better hc than McDermott simply bc he understands and values OFFENSE
  2. They have a blind spot with building an offense also
  3. I can only hypothesize that this Regime smells of cronyism and are content to keep cashing those checks and just making the playoffs or McDermott is one of the most stubborn coaches in the league....I feel McDermott wants his vision of his defense to succeed so much that he will go down with the ship..wouldn't be the first coach to stubbornly resist change that sinks from their stubbornness
  4. I think it's very telling that other from Allen Bean has failed to draft 1 single game changer other than flashes from Edmunds...Bean has not done well at all in the drafting of players and McDermott has done just as bad at developing players....seems McDermott expect very little from his rookies for a year or two...that thinking is a problem..a 1st round pick should be expected to be a starter yr 1 in today's nfl
  5. The only player other than Allen that bean has his hand in drafting that is all pro caliber is Milano and that's a problem
  6. Until those high draft picks start going to the oline this is what you can expect out of the offense in the playoffs
  7. I would imagine it would be harder to come back from acl for a cb who has to cut and change direction so quickly than it would a De....maybe I'm wrong
  8. Didn't mahomes just have 5000 yards?...Yea Allen could definitely pass for 5k also with a good line and a wr2 and gabe back to 3wr where he shines
  9. The thing is if we put all the resources into the offense instead of the Defense like we have,we would have a solid line and a big FA wr opposite Diggs! Allen would have no down year,he most likely has an mvp and pretty good chance a superbowl ring by now....That's what frustrates me the most
  10. 1 year in the playoffs its a fluke 2 years in the playoffs just bad luck 3 years (Houston we have a problem) Without an oline and a wr2 opposite diggs we have seen our peak no matter how you slice it....playoffs separate the good from the great...we are good but could be great with a draft or two of focusing on the offense
  11. Maybe Broderick jones or ocyrus
  12. You typed all that and failed to see the Bengals would have put up 40 points if they needed to.....sorry but I totally disagree with you....if we invested how we have offense I don't think any team in the league can stop us from scoring ...simply flip the assets we have invested in defense and give it to the offense and vice versa...we still would have a top 15 defense but the offense would more than likely be the unanimous #1 in the league The defense is exposed when the competition gets tougher in the playoffs.......no team left has neglected their offenses esp ol and wr like the Bills have and its the reason we are out of the competition
  13. No one is really arguing the offense crapped the bed...the glaring issue is after all the early draft picks and the money we spent on defense one would hope they performed better than they did...hard to fault the offense when the oline is the 26th ranked oline and no true wr2 opposite diggs and a first year oc calling the plays for the offense(Allen's 3rd oc in 5yrs)
  14. What it all boils down to is when you land that Qb like Allen/mahomes/burrow/Herbert you do absolutely everything you can do to give them everything they need to not only succeed but to thrive...it almost feels like our decision is McDermott or allen.....McDermott was needed for this team no doubt about it..he changed the culture and did allot of good...but he is at this point holding the offense and the next step in the evolution of josh allen back with his prioritizing of the Defense
  15. Great post and much better grammar than mine I must say 😉
  16. That's my disappointment with this staff...we have Josh allen and we are focused on building a defense?...I could see that level of thinking with a game manager type qb like Mac jones but with Allen? It just is all backwards level of thinking by the people we ha e put in place to make decisions that are right for this team....we would prioritize the defense if we still had Tyrol Taylor at qb...that I would agree on
  17. What defensive player has lived up to their draft spot?...we have first round players not even starting...we have first round talent playing 60% of the snaps behind a rotation dline....if we had all them first picks being spent on oline and that von money being spent on an aj brown /hopkins type wr we are getting production from them 100% of the time
  18. Nothing I say will make sense to you...you obviously agree with the way the team has been ran and built and are content as long as we make playoffs and never are quite good enough....
  19. Ask Marty Schottenheimer if that's true 😆
  20. I'm not predicting injuries I'm saying I'd rather have an aj brown or hopkins caliber wr opposite Diggs and that the money we spent would have been better suited to team success on the offense The rams had a better oline and didn't just have Stafford and kupp on the offense doing it alone either
  21. I'd beg to differ...once you have reached the point where regular season wins don't equate to playoff and superbowl success it might be time to reevaluate esp if you value the time we will have a generational at QB for
  22. We probably would have if all our draft capital and Fa money for von was spent on the offense and not on the Defense
  23. Yea josh allen has masked the failures from the gm and coaching staff imo
  24. Explain how 4 of our 6 firsts have went to defense and why they aren't progressing much....I mean our 1st round pick last season rode the bench most of the year while Dane jackson was burnt toast....if you can honestly say bean has done a good job then idk what you have been watching.....if we simply switched our defense draft picks with offense ones and the von signing with a stud wr I'd argue our team would be in much better shape...I see it as we have done things totally backwards on how we assembled this team through the draft and FA
  25. Unfortunately with this coaching staff it feels we will continue to build this team around MCDERMOTT I think Pegula simply isn't a hands on owner and I think bean was brought in by McDermott bc McDermott knows he will get the most sway out of any other gm....McDermott is loyal to his coordinators and men he brought in that even if one is fired he will just promote someone from within and just continue to run the same ship....I don't see any changes in how our process progresses with this entire staff...and without demand from the top it is gonna continue to be a defense first mentality imo....I don't want to say this Regime smells of cronyism but it's enough to make one wonder
