  1. Alabama has been attracting great students. https://mobile.nytimes.com/2016/11/06/education/edlife/survival-strategies-for-public-universities.html?referer=https://www.google.com/ Not that I know of. Do you have data to indicate that they are?
  2. The 25th percentile ACT score is 25, and the 75th percentile ACT score is 33 for UCLA. The average ACT is 29. It’s 23 and 32 for Alabama with an average ACT of 27. For undergrad, the two schools aren’t as dissimilar as you might think. UCLA has much better graduate programs.
  3. 4th ranked by whom? Maybe the Bills liked Losman the best among the QBs in the draft. They also gave up a boatload of picks for Rob Johnson and he flamed out. It’s about getting the right guy. I think it’s clear that the process is about building a team and not about adding individual talent. I am not arguing that McCarron is better than Rosen or that we shouldn’t draft a QB. My point is that you can’t pin all of your hopes on drafting one player.
  4. What if we drafted the two stud ND offensive lineman in the first and a QB and a MLB in the 2nd?
  5. Payne is a monster. Ridley gets it done on the field - who cares about the combine.
  6. I prefer Mayfield personally. Perhaps a bit, but the point remains that to be successful, you need to build a team. Isn’t the old adage that games are won and lost in the trenches?
  7. They were 18 - 20 so he didn’t give them nearly enough chances.
  8. Even with Rosen, who is largely believed to be a savior by many here, UCLA was a mediocre team. Why do you think that he would make a mediocre team great in the NFL?
  9. Rosen was 18 - 20 with UCLA. It’s ridiculous to think that one guy can carry a team on his shoulders. As good as a QB might be, he needs talent around him. Oh, and McCarron was 36 - 4.
  10. Get Calvin Ridley and take a QB with the 2nd 1st round pick.
  11. He’s from Mobile. Some people are ignorant enough to believe that a southern accent equates to being stupid.
  12. McCarron was 36 - 4 with Alabama.
  13. Paul is a Rochester native who graduated from Cardinal Mooney High School. He had quite a run with the Bengals. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cincyjungle.com/platform/amp/2018/1/3/16845868/bengals-ol-coach-paul-alexander-parting-ways
  14. The NFL is also littered with stars who drafted high and flopped.
  15. Take the money and run. It's been known to happen. He's not as hungry as a guy who is trying to put food on his family's table. Yes, I brought it up a few posts ago,
  16. His personality and ability to get along with his teammates has been a commonly expressed concern. Weaknesses: Durability Has had at least one concussion Has had shoulder, hand injuries Poor intangibles Questionable leadership traits Quality of teammate Different personality; could clash with teammates and coaches Could have problems with the media Read more: http://walterfootball.com/scoutingreport2018jrosen.php#ixzz5APpvvyhL Read more at http://walterfootball.com/scoutingreport2018jrosen.php#kUTsgaPKJlpCZwKd.99 Let's don't imagine that Rosen is a slam dunk.
  17. Had surgery to his throwing shoulder. Recently had two concussions in 4 weeks. Missed the Cactus Bowl. Durability is a big question mark.
  18. I hope so since he is dropping out of college. Started classes in January 2015 and hasn't graduated? Hmm. I thought he was a genius?
  19. I would hope the apartment has better control of it's employees. Seems more likely someone recorded it.
  20. If so, how did TMZ get it?
  21. No one knows what caused the melt down.
  22. What kind of person records this and sends it to TMZ? Sick.
  23. Not a fan. Slight build and injury prone with a history of concussions. Doesn't seem like a good locker room guy either.
