  1. I wasn't a fan of Dareus from the very beginning. Cyrus K. was a reach. Love most things about the school.
  2. Any chance that he falls to 12?

  4. I almost lost my lunch.
  5. How can I unsee that?
  6. Drew Brees: "In some ways, I guess you could say it (his birthmark) was a character builder that helped me develop an inner toughness and an ability to shake off jabs and criticism. Not a bad trait to have as a quarter¬back in the NFL—or in any job, for that matter. A Lineage of Competition."
  7. Try it and let us know. Let me know if you need any help.
  8. 25% of students at Alabama have an ACT score of 32 or greater, and 40% have an ACT score of 30 or greater. Believe it or not, Alabama has about the same percentage of high end students as elite public universities. Don't understimate Alabama academics. He wants to start. Buffalo gives him that opportunity and other teams didn't.
  9. I think there is ample reason to be optimistic about McCarron. I don't get the negativity.
  10. Tyrod and McCarron are similar players? They are complete opposites,
  11. Where McCarrron was drafted means nothing. Completely irrelevant as he is been in the league for 4 yrs. After being far removed from college, has any employer asked you about your GPA? Comparing McCarron's and TT's stats are meaningless. There is not enough data on McCarron. Not to mention that they are completely different players.
  12. Brady had a terrible body and was awful at the combine, and he turned out okay. Drafting a QB is an inexact science. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/look-tom-brady-was-really-really-bad-at-the-nfl-combine-in-2000/
  13. Wondering how go from a human interest story to there. Odd,
  14. How well did that work for Brady Quinn? His body type is similar to Tom Brady, It's a human interest story.
  15. We shall see. Hoping for the best. He was projected as a 2nd rd pick.
  16. You may have noticed the scar on McCarron's head. The left side of his face was caved in in a childhood accident. He's a tough SOB and a fighter. No guarantee of his success here. but you have to love his spirit. https://247sports.com/college/alabama/Article/Tide-QB-Survived-Scary-Childhood-Accident-104863656
  17. Boise State is an FBS team. McCarron competed against the best programs in the country and let Alabama to back to back national championships. They had a balanced team which is what McDermott and Beane are trying to build here.
  18. Rosen: 18 - 20 McCarron: 36 - 4
  19. Like I said, in quite a few plays he was heaving the ball up in the air; it wasn't throwing into tight coverage. Watch the 2nd half of the game. One guy can't carry a team; hence my point. And certainly not Rosen.
  20. Which is obviously why you need a balanced team. One guy can't do it alone, which is my point. In the A&M game he was heaving the ball up in the air and his WR's made plays. There was a big element of luck in that game.
  21. Our secondary was great last year. Didn't miss him at all.
  22. "After gaining the starting job in the end of the 1990 season as a true freshman (joined later by Jeff Tuel as the only two in school history), he quickly became the face of the Cougars offense. In 1992 Bledsoe led his team to a 9–3 record (ranking #10 in the coaches poll and #12 in the AP) and a 31–28 win against the Utah Utes in the Copper Bowl. " https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drew_Bledsoe Washington State got better under Bledsoe. UCLA got worse after Rosen became the QB in 2015: 2014: 10 - 3 2015: 8 - 5 2016: 4 - 8 2017: 6 - 7
  23. UCLA can add another record-breaker to its list of sports statistics: largest SAT score gap between athletes and non-athletes. According to a new survey of 54 public universities released by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the average athlete at UCLA scored 247 points lower on the SATs than the average non-athlete, a greater difference than at any other university surveyed. http://dailybruin.com/2009/01/06/emucla-should-not-lower-admission-standards-athlet/
  24. They were 10 - 3 the year before Rosen.
