Even if true, and I don’t know that, it means he is guilty of the alleged crime? SF said one of the reasons they drafted him was because of his character. Have you ever seen the results of someone getting punched in the face by a 220 - 230 lb guy? I have and it wasn’t pretty. It was only 3 blows and it involved a rush to the emergency room, a lot of blood, numerous stitches and massive swelling. The guy’s face was a mess.

“Where there is smoke, there is fire”. Is that a legal principle? What happened to the presumption of innocence? Maybe we should dispense of a trial and lock him up. The woman allegedly gets punched in the face in the face 8 - 10 times by a 230lb Adonis and she has bruises? It takes 2 months to collect evidence to charge him? Try using critical thinking. Does the story make sense?

You mentioned Minnesota. Have you compared their NMF package to Alabama’s? https://admissions.tc.umn.edu/nationalmerit/ https://scholarships.ua.edu/nationalscholars/ Seeing any differences? Your student is NMF. Congrats, but a lot of the scholarship money you are taking about is based on financial need and are not guraranteed. Alabama’s merit scholarships are automatic, guaranteed and not based on financial need. I know that you and others here don’t get it and probably never will but UA’s scholarships are unique. Only a handful of schools have anything similar and they aren’t as generous, perhaps with the exception of Ole Miss.

Seattle postpones Kaepernick workout b/c of kneeling?

Hmm, no one wants to hire Kapernick because he’s not only a substandard QB, but he’s also bad for business. Shocking. -
Bills Draft Day QB Worst Case Scenario
Sky Diver replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Worst case would be drafting Rosen. He is going to be a train wreck. -
Innocent until proved guilty. A lot of piling on because of ignorance and jealousy. It took two months to decide whether there was enough evidence to charge Foster with a crime after he allegedly punched the woman in the head 8 - 10 times? So we are supposed to believe that the woman was allegedly punched in the head by a 230 lb football player 8 - 10 times and she only sustained bruises and a ruptured ear drum (which can be caused by a number of things)? How could something this vicious happen and there not be overwhelming evidence of a crime that would lead to immediate charges? The story sounds fishy. Maybe there is someone here in law enforcement who can make sense of it.

Disagreeing with Rosen’s and Kapernick’s antics has nothing to do with Foster. -

I am a little confused why you bring Foster into every discussion about Rosen and now Kapernick. Foster is in the NFL, not the SEC. He plays for the 49ers, not Alabama or Buffalo. He’s not draftable. Everyone thinks that what Foster did was reprehensible, but it has nothing to do with Rosen or Kapernick. Your false and malcious accusations that I somehow support Foster are getting really, really tiring. -

Hmmm, so it wasn’t players kneeling before games or that brought about change? Branch Rickey was an idealist, but a businessman too. Don’t forget that . -

Are you comparing Jackie Robinson with Kapernick? I don't recall Jackie Robinson staging any protests before a game. -

Right. We don't have enough politics in entertainment. There should be protests that at half time and during the post game too. -

The 2nd Amendment is vile to some people. -

A player protest against the erosion of our 2nd Amendment rights would be interesting. -

And some people want to draft Kapernick light. I’d pass on any SJW’s. Entertainment and politics don’t mix. -
"According to sources who have spoken with people close to Rosen, he has been focused since high school on using football to make money and support the type of lifestyle he wants. He’s OK with challenging the system and being a mouthpiece for divisiveness because he appreciates the attention it draws." https://thebiglead.com/2018/01/03/anonymous-sources-josh-rosen-comparisons-character/ Seems like an accurate assessment.
