  1. Billy Jean King. That guy could play in any weather.
  2. I would give McCarron a 10 for that one, although maybe I have to take point off since his wife went to Auburn.
  3. The only QBs with higher winning percentages than Fluitie when he was with Buffalo are Brady, Montana, Staubach, Lamonica, and Otto Graham.
  4. Do whatever you want. I’m standing by the 70% winning percentage.
  5. 21 - 9. What wasn’t to like?
  6. The year prior to Rosen, UCLA was 10 - 3. During the Rosen years UCLA was 8 - 5, 4 - 8 and 6 - 7.
  7. Well, I guess Buffalo is starting the season 0 - 1 then.
  8. Who are the Bills playing opening game?
  9. I didn’t think the question was what metrics were important in selecting a QB. It’s a team sport, individual metrics are irrelevant. Wins are what matters. Flutie was 21 - 9. Hence I was a Flutie fan.
  10. How do you win the national championship and drop a spot, geez.
  11. He resembles Steve Young to me. He's played more than 30 min. The kid is unbelievable.
  12. Competition is healthy and it will make them both better. I don't see Jalen beating out Tua. I think Jalen would be better served changing positions if he wants to play in the NFL, but let's see how it plays out. It would be a pity if Jalen transfers, but I would wish him well. He's a great kid, as is Tua. Old pic, by the way. he has a new look. https://thespun.com/college-football/jalen-hurts-reveals-why-he-cut-his-hair
  13. I'm not sure I buy into this this list completely, but Nick Saban is #12 on Forbes World's Greatest Leaders list, so at least they got that one right. https://www.axios.com/fortune-2018-worlds-greatest-leaders-list-c045f429-54a6-4111-bff7-c1609f08cba1.html
  14. Yes, get him healthy for the fall.
  15. Isn’t that like saying the mechanic deal a really good job of taking the motor apart, but he did a terrible job of putting it back together? In the end, the car won’t run.
  16. If a player doesn’t want to play for a particular team, why can’t he say no to a pre-draft workout?
  17. A QB struggles his first year? Not a shock. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bigcatcountry.com/platform/amp/2011/12/17/2643479/many-quarterbacks-struggle-in-their-rookie-years
  18. He disn’t build winning teams so he was a failure.
  19. One of the knocks on Rosen is that he tries to make plays when he should throw the ball away.
  20. Looks like Tua is not going to play in the A-Day game because he aggravated the injured thumb.
  21. Multiple injuries. http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2014/01/alabma_qb_aj_mccarron_explains.html McCarron was a team captain for 3 years at Alabama. I believe that Peterman was a team captain at Pitt. Not sure what you were looking for. What would have gotten you excited?
  22. Dave Krieg, Milton College. UDFA.
  23. If we can get Mayfield at 12 and Evans at 22 I would be thrilled.
  24. Smith seems to be better suited for MIKE although Evans can also play the position. Evans can play outside too, so he is more versitile. Evans and Smith have different skill sets. Smith is probably better suited for the Bills’ defense and is probably more the type of player they are looking for, but if Evans is available at 22, l think he would be a great pick. Smith won’t last that long. Evans seems quicker and more athletic than Ragland to me.
