    Dalton played well enough that McCarton didn’t have a great opportunity to unseat him. Our gain that other teams aren’t as good as us at evaluating QB talent.

    It will happen if he continues to improve and the Bills surround with some talent. Hopefully McCaron steps up and Allen has a year to watch and learn.

    I am pro McCarron and Allen and I’ll judge Allen on his own merit and not the success or failure of other QBs. There is a lot of speculation about why McCarron dropped. It’s all irrelevant now. I’m just glad he’s a Bill.

    I would have been happy with any of the top four, except Rosen. He would have been a horrible fit for the team and the city. Now that I have learned more about Allen, I think he was a great pick. I’m really excited to watch him develop.

    The QB room is solid and McCarron and Peterman will help him out. He is walking into a good situation.

    Kyle will work with him and coach him up. What he lacks in athleticism will be compensated for by heart and desire. I see him developing as a good player.

    Allen is physically imposing and he has more upside potential than Rosen.
