  1. He's always looking downfield when he is scrambling.
  2. It was either the dart board or the roulette wheel. I'm not certain.
  3. Allen threw the ball 373 times in 2016 and 270 times in 2017. Wyoming lost a lot of talented offensive players after the 2016 season.
  4. Edmunds needs to be coached up, but he's a physical freak. He was projected as a top ten pick. Time will tell, but I think this draft was a slam dunk.
  5. They both like big, strong, talented quarterbacks?
  6. Great story. He went from playing intramural flag football to playing in the college playoffs in 3 yrs.
  7. Southwestern Louisiana is The University of Louisiana - Lafayette. The Ragin' Cajuns.
  8. Not sure how Beane would have outsmarted himself. He preferred Allen over Rosen. Whether he was right remains to be seen. If he was wrong, will it be a career buster? I don’t think so. No GM is ever 100% right and he didn’t give up enough that will cripple the franchise.
  9. Everyone young QB is a project.
  10. D looks pretty good, but LB is shaky. Hopefully they can get Edmunds coached up a ready to start.
  11. Do you think he can play 3-Tech?
  12. Did you watch Mould play his first 2 yrs?
  13. "The Bills' slow lurch downward since the loss to the Jaguars in the Wild Card Round is not indicative of panic-worthy events. Rather, it's a reflection of how strong the team is right now." Is it me, or are these statements nonsensical?
  14. Wallace is interesting. He went from playing flag football in intramurals to starting in the college playoffs in 3 yrs. I wouldn't rule the guy out. Foster I'm not as sure about. He was a 5* recruit, but he wasn't very productive. Of course, Alabama was loaded at WR which limited his touches.
  15. How long did it take Eric Moulds to develop into a top receiver? Answer: He wasn't good until his 3rd yr. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MoulEr00.htm
  16. Bob Matthews in Richester is a dunce too.
  17. Benjamin’s injury was because of Peterman? You have passed the point of absurdity. I understand you don’t like him, but don’t be ridiculous. What’s next, are you going to blame him for global warming?
  18. We'll have to agree to disagree on the OL play. Bosa remarked on the sideline that it didn't even seem the Mills tried to block him on one play. The OL was horrible. There was even speculation that Mills tanked intentionally his play was so bad.
  19. It was a fiasco. To blame it all on Peterman is ridiculous. It was largely a combination of poor coaching decisions and horrible offensive line play.
  20. We must be watching a different Allen. He has horrible pass protection.
  21. Allen regularly played under center at Wyoming. That's a plus.
  22. Allen played the hand he was dealt. On most pass plays he was running for his life. Hopefully we can solidify the offensive line and he has some clean pockets to throw from. If not, he can scramble and is pretty accurate throwing on the run. I am sure the coach game planned around the team's capabilities and their opponents.. When they ran 1 read, quick hitting passes Allen was pretty effective. He'll learn what he can get away with in the NFL and what he can't. Roethlisberger's TD/Int ratio is 1.89. Allen's is 2.10. Rosen's is 2.27. Mayfield's is 5.67 at Oklahoma. Darnold's in 2.59. In 2017, Darnold had 11 fumbles, Rosen had 8 and Allen had 5.
  23. Allen's TD/Int ratio was 44/21. Jim Kelly's was 237/175. If you throw the ball downfield, there will be interceptions. If you don't want turnovers (or big plays), Tyrod is your man. I think we have all concluded that it was time to move on from Tyrod, As good as Kelly was, he made a lot of head scratching, ill-advised throws, but he made a lot of plays too.
  24. I didn't ask my friend about that. I know he played DB against NC State after a hand injury.
