  1. Nick Saban never yells at anyone. (Yeah right).
  2. The woman made allegations, she said she lied and provided evidence that she lied, she testified under oath that she lied. Not too many plot twists here.
  3. Alabama players on Daboll. Brady Quinn on Daboll.
  4. I’d rather have TO than BO.
  5. I guess you haven’t been following the story? https://es.pn/2rR8SvH
  6. Much ado about nothing, imo. It’s a long off season.
  7. Interesting testimony today. Her story smelled fishy from the very beginning, and I cautioned in earlier posts in this thread not to rush to judgement and to grant Foster the presumption of innocence until the facts came out.
  8. Her accuser admitted she lied and she submitted video evidence to the DA's office to prove it. Her allegation that he punched her 8 - 10 times was a red flag to me from the beginning. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2776560-reuben-fosters-ex-girlfriend-domestic-violence-claim-a-money-scheme
  9. I don't recall exactly when I started criticizing him. It was when he showed up to camp grossly out of shape and overweight and when he was working on business deals (opening a bar/night club) while he left the team to mourn his brother. Likely after the second season. I soured on the guy pretty quickly and my instincts were right.
  10. He had a few good years and now at 28 he appears to be washed up. As good as may been 3 or 4 years ago, I wonder how great he could have been if had been more mature and was motivated.
  11. Hmm, interesting take since the woman submitted video evidence to the DA's office that allegedly shows that she incurred her injuries in a fight with another woman.
  12. And I said that Dareus was a dud is 2nd yr. I call it like I see it.
  13. Why bring up data that isn’t accurate unless you are crusading against McCarron? There obviously isn’t a large enough sample size for McCarron to compare him to Dalton. I think It would have been fair to say that the Bengals OL was likely top of the bottom third to mid tier. I’ve said that McCarron ceiling is likely mid-tier. Football is way too complicated to reduce to simple analytics.
  14. Excited to have a consensus top college QB and a demonstrated pocket passer.
  15. And Dalton was the starter so he got the majority of snaps in practice while McCarron got thrown in after Dalton was injured. Reverse rolls and the numbers might be far different. McCarron also played against too very good defensive teams. Not an apples to apples comparison. Analytics with no context.
  16. There have been how many players that have praised Daboll and how may have said something negative about him? Even McCoy thanked him in another interview. I think Daboll is the least of our issues. Maybe McCoy was so thick that the only way to get through to him was yelling. None of us were there.
  17. So bottom of the top 1/3. As an aside, the OL coach that was fired was a HS classmate. He was a good guy.
  18. Was the Bengals O-Line really that good? They recently fired their OL coach who had been with the team for 23 years.
  19. Well, at least Allen is accustomed to playing with a terrible offensive line and terrible receivers. It would be nice if Foster is a diamond in the rough, but we can't count on it. He certainly has the ability, whether Daboll can turn it into production is another matter.
  20. Mac Jones out played Hurts in the A-Day game. Hurts is a great kid and an excellent runner, but he isn't a pocket passer. He would be better served to change positions since there is no way he will make it to the NFL as a QB. Tua lit it up every time he got into a game. The kid is a phenom.
  21. He was right too. Tua should have been starting, based on talent anyway. Maybe Saban thought it would affect team chemistry?
