I’m not really following the righteous indigation. Can you explain the reasons for the personal attack?

When my father was called an ethnic slur, it usually ended in fisticuffs. Now we have cry babies.

Did he pull a girl’s pig tails in elementary school too? Whatever happened to sticks and stones? Maybe you need a thicker skin if you play football.

I’m sure a lot of nasty things have been said on a football field. Do you think Richie is the first or will be the last? What happened with the alleged investigation between January and when he retired? What was it, April or May? Can the NFL really be slower than the federal gov’t?

Critical thinking is becoming a lost skill. Shady wanted to pay Richie out of his own salary. The MMQB? That sounds like a reliable source. Is the NFL still investigating? It shouldn’t take 9 months, should it? Richie apparently felt that is agent didn’t represent him well, so he fired him. Is that a sign of mental illness to you?

I don’t think that the contract offer had anything to do with his mental state. A mentally deranged person isn’t a bargain at any price. They were just playing hardball with him.

It’s unreasonable that he was mentally deranged and the team doctors, staff, and other players didn’t detect it.

I’m pretty sure there is a post season physical. If there were any issues, it should have come up then. If not, the Bills need to scrutinize their medical staff.

He was okay three years ago when they signed him? If the Bills thought something was amiss, why didn’t they cut him? There is a risk with any player due to injury or mental breakdown. Who would have suspected Zay Jones?

We would be watching a better product if Richie was on the field. Boo boo for us.

Richie played 3 yrs at an All-Pro level for a bargain price. He was still capable of playing at a high level. The Bills shouldn’t have asked him to take a huge paycut. $3.5M on the roll of the dice with Coleman was stupid. I’d rather have seen that money go to Richie as a reward for his service. I believe that if we don’t cut his salary he’s would still be on the team and we would be far better off. I don’t see any connection here with Forte.
