  1. Good point. If New England is pinning any hopes of a victory based on that fiasco of a game in the first matchup they are delusional. Mac Jones was a joke of a QB, yes we lost and yes we were outcoached, McD isnt going to cower again with J Allen and the weather.
  2. Great choice even though retired, all those pain in the arse slot receivers the Patriots had, Amendola, Wes Welker, Edelman
  3. I remember and I dont care what we did last year.
  4. I care. We do terrible against the run teams, look at the first New England game (3 passes) or the Tennesse game. Winter weather and wind kills passing, why running is so critical in the playoffs. We end up playing against Derrick Henry it could get ugly.
  5. On paper, the most daunting on the Schedule are the Bengals on the road, great and improving QB with a solid overall roster.
  6. If this has to be brought up to McD in press conferences then we have the wrong head coach.
  7. Premature move imo, the man ended the team on a hot streak and Tua starting to look a bit like an NFL QB.
  8. Now the Bill O'Brien is at Alabama and Urban Meyer is unemployed, think you are 100% correct.
  9. Aaron Rodgers, if this "report" is true, again proves to be a drama queen.
  10. Too expensive and too injury prone.
  11. Well no Efe this week so I guess I will go with Edmunds, i think the rangy LB can get a sack and a pick from the kid Zach Wilson that looks like he is 12 years old. LOL, the great debate for that game was a poll, how much playing time would Trubisky get....I think the winning selection had him playing the entire Q4.
  12. I never knew this, hope that twerp is happy.
  13. THe New York Times effectively got rid of their stand alone sports section a few years ago, Ironic they would buy the Athletic now.
  14. I want to believe in Touchdown Jesus, especially after the perennial wind bag Aaron Rodgers endorsed him BUT his drop versus NEw England tempered my enthusiasm.
  15. I am going again with Efe Obada, the man has been getting closer to getting serious QB pressure
  16. Catching a fastball from Josh Allen throwing a cold slick football can't be easy, even for a pro, the pass off Diggs hands in the end zone last week i think on a warmer day would be a TD 95% of the time. He also resorted to a lot of bullets because the Falcons did a good job of getting their hands up so speed was critical, wonder if that was a goal of the Falcons.
  17. Well we will disagree, the actual name for the test it the The Wonderlic Contemporary Cognitive Ability Test . Is it perfect, not even close, there is no such thing as a perfect standardized test. And I disagree, I think it is easier to coach and/or learn if you have more cognitive ability, easier to coach f you are more smart than another.
  18. I didnt suggest the possibility, I for one think it would be foolish but the "experts" continually change their minds/policy so it is in the realm of actually happening.
  19. Oh so forget mental acumen, it is only physical acumen is it? Mental acumen is related to football? The wonderlic measures mental acumen which is critical for the NFL esp with QBs. Brady example #1. Football related topics are far too subjective and prone to interpretation There is no such thing as a "perfect" or perfectly "fair" standardized test, yes its a bummer but that is the real world.
  20. Well they FAILED, repeatedly by leaking the scores every year so they wont have them anymore.
  21. Jerry Jones would love to host another super Bowl. If California is so covid paranoid move the game, the quicker they make the decision the better. If it is left up to politicians and bureaucrats, it will take weeks to make a decision.
  22. Incorrect. The Wonderlic is not an about random facts, it is not a history test. It is about cognitive ability. The ability to figure things out, the ability TO LEARN, the ability to be COACHED. So you never answered the question, why do they combine at all, there is no running the 40 in shorts in the NFL.
  23. I didnt know I had to state the obvious. Yes, I dont who prepares and to what extent. You think the test is irrelevant, fine that is your opinion. You want to vilify the process and call it getting "pledged", fine by me, how is that different then the entire process with the Combine, meeting with team coaches, pro days, etc etc etc.
  24. What kind of message does it send? You put some effort into it, study, take the test exams you will improve. I see nothing wrong with that. Do you look at SAT score or GPAs or are they just "metrics" to influence people careers? What about the combine, why even have that. So you spend weeks getting to a quicker 40 or high jump or 3 cone drill. You don't run in straights lines or jump in your shorts in the NFL.
