  1. Yeah he was. Didnt he end up with a bad back? And was he also pushed out to OLB even though he was WAY too heavy for it and slow, those were some dreadful years to watch. They would run around his side and they often got it for large gains.
  2. Already being discussed in the Alex Carrington thread.
  3. I have heard repeatedly from agents and the media that NFL arrest records are, adjusted for age/sex, not meaningfully different than similar national averages. Not sure if I believe it.
  4. Agree, I hope he does. I He has spent most of his time here and meet with the most pro success.
  5. Enjoy the Poyer-Hyde combo one more year, after next seasons, all bets are off imo.
  6. Not even close to accurate. After their first game Mahomes had a string of several bad games, at one point lost 3 out of 4 games and was a turnover machine.
  7. April fool here is less tolerable than after a Bills loss.
  8. No link, noting from Palmer....this might be a lame attempt at a April fools joke.
  9. Oh god gawd, this is noteworthy. The unnamed "buzzards" "may be aggressive" and "may move a veteran or two. "He gets paid for this dribble? Yes the bills May be aggressive or the Bills Maybe wont and maybe the move a veteran or two or maybe they dont. I learned NOTHING of any value.
  10. Great game, I had to re-watch the highlights, a real joy. Two questions on the long punt return by Hyde. !) did he field that because the ball glance off of Siran Neal's leg, I tried sopping it but coudnt tell. It would have likely gone in the end zone and we had a big lead at that point. 2) Great return and he is tripped up by a Bill, did I see that corect. What Bill was that and Hyde looked miffed, think he was headed for the endzone?
  11. Was that back when the statue of Liberty play was all the rage?
  12. If you knew as you calm then why did you bother asking?
  13. I agree and already said so. I think they will franchise tag would be cheaper yhsn s megs QB deal, they dont have to make up their minds right now and see if he gets hurt again.
  14. Dont know, you look it up but what I do know is the current rate of QB inflation is unsustainable, at this rate in a few year franchise QBs will be getting what, half of the total salary cap. This qb infation like ANY investment/craze will hit a peak, they always pop since the great tulip Craze in the 1600s, be it the nifty fifty, dot.coms, oil and gas, bitcoins, etc etc etc. Simple human nature.
  15. No new contract, they will just kick the can down the street, just tag him and see if he gets hurt, again, and hope the "QB inflation" subsides no, cant compare the two, not even close. The Watson situation was totally different in that he had a no trade clause despite having a new then $ contract.
  16. isn't this EXACTLY what the new proposed rules/ guideline are, unfairly forced arbitrary number with little to do with quality of applicants?
  17. paraphrasing Abraham Lincoln et al, "any man who is his own agent has a fool for a client"
  18. LOL, buy what a prime destination for the Draft.
  19. Nice Job, it might be helpful to include Ryan Bates in the title!
  20. I was at that game, one of the best games I have ever seen. I still recall as the drunk bills fans below the MNF broadcast booth giving Howard Cosell the finger. Both teams ignited under 2 minutes to play and scored 21 points in total. it was a perfect night for football.
  21. Immediate distraction plus a potential cancer and I am not sure he is better than Bridgewater.
  22. I am worried about Teddy Bridgewater, Tua is going to be on a very short leash if he doesn't win.
  23. Good maybe but in today NFL, good QBs MIGHT get in you in the playoffs but even a few "great QBs" in the AFC will likely miss the playoffs
  24. intriguing analogy, seems sad to wasted here.
