  1. Exactly, how can Cook be higher than Knox and especially Moss unless Cook didnt get enough plays to qualify.
  2. I didn't write them off, what I wrote was any fear was "greatly alleviated" and it certainly was. When you have expectations such as the Bills do this year, a tie for a potential competitor, is as good as a loss IMO, especially to the Texans.
  3. That is how he was in pre-season, he was a force, often he was unlockable one on one.
  4. Jerry Hughes was wildly better than Shaq Lawson. I hated to see Jerry go but 1) I sure cant blame him for his final pay day in his home town 2) Bills cant keep everyone they want
  5. I think it is ok. After all, what are you supposed to do with a name like "the Browns".
  6. They looked terrible and the great Mac Jones didnt show much improvement at all. Belichek's last year is my bet. IMO Belichek got outcoached by the idiot savant of a HC at Miami.
  7. They didn't lose. Hughes play wasn't in garbage time. 2 sacks, another tackle for a loss, a forced fumble and an interception, that is impressive by any measure. You werent on here before claiming they should keep Howard before they cut him. Lats see how much Howard does this year.
  8. Not after what I saw last Sunday and recall how all they had to do was beat the Jags last year to get in the playoffs and lost badly.
  9. Jerry Hughes and OJ Howard, neither was going to stick with the Bills this year so they ended up as Texans and turned into stars in their first regular game. Jerry Hughes has been on fire through pre-season and he carried it on in the first game. He got two sacks and stripped the ball out on one knocking the Colts out of field position. He also got an interception returning it 14 yards and another tackle for a loss. Too bad the Texans didn't win and are a low profile team or a lot of people would be talking about his performance. IMO he was always a very good Bill and happy for him to close out his career so well and at home. OJ Howard was picked up by the Texans and he scored both of their TDs. One of his TDs there was a defensive mix up and he was effectively uncovered. There are a lot of Frank Reich fans here as am I but any talk about him being a great head coach wasn't evident last Sunday. I dont think the Colts were prepared for the game and Reich was outcoached by Lovie Smith. Our castoffs are making other teams better and any fear of the COLTS with Reich and Matt Ryan from a Bills standpoint was greatly alleviated.
  10. I disagree, receivers can reach out far past the side line and stil catch the ball.
  11. J Allen about to go out of bounds throws it to where only the receiver can catch it to the outside, ball did not cross end zone. Very similar to the Know TD in the playoff versus the Pats but that specific case I dont know where the ball traveled to, just off the top of m,y head. Depper in the end zone applies when the throw it out the back line and is aught in that regard the ball has crossed the end zone, that is not what I am describing.
  12. I disagree. What happens when the receiver is one one side of the end zone, QB is one the same side of the field and throws it to his outside so only the receiver can catch it. If the receiver has his feet in the end zone and the ball is thrown outside and the ball never crosses the end zone that is a TD. Those type of throws happen al the time.
  13. If your feet are in the endzone and you have control of the ball, it is a TD, 100%. Where the ball is totally irrelevant. How many plays are TDs as receivers ball outside of the end zone, hundreds each year.
  14. If you dive forward for a ball and your feet are in the endzone, its a TD regardless of where the ball was.
  15. Actually I agree with the logic. I never understood what the alleged issue Diggs supposedly had in Minnesota but he has been a tremendous leaders and teammate here.
  16. Also fair-weather as well and not knowledgeable. What would you estimate the % of Bills fans were there? I heard at one point they had to resort to a silent count, how embarrassing for an NFL team on the day you unveil your SB banner.
  17. Great write up. Great game for almost every aspect. I cant even complain about McD. On the Secondary, now I am nitpicking. Kupp is great etc etc but allowing anyone to get 13 catches is off the bell curve bad. Yes we played zone, not to get beat by the big play, and Kupp knows where the holes in the zone and hits them but that is a bit concerning. And on the TD for Kupp Poyer was flat out beat .
  18. Every year there is some desperate team with no QB and a cash rich/brains poor owner.
  19. I think it is a TBD obsession to give a nickname to every player.
  20. I try not to make a meaningless points of correcting grammar but since you misused the same expression a few days ago, so just fyi it is not "air on the side of caution" it is "err on the side of caution.". And I agree with your point, besides we have the luxury of rotating D Lineman so it should not be catastrophic to let him heal 100%.
  21. iS this true, did he only have a 6 on the wonderlic?
  22. This thread of superstition on steroids.
  23. Taking the Rams and the 2.5 as a psychological hedge. I will take the Rams and the points. Rams win, at least I can get some $. Bills win by more, I am still happy. And if the Bills win by one or 2, best of both worlds, Bills win and I make $.
  24. I was for a very short time after his first preseason game and after i heard that blowhard Mike Greenberg go off on a rant that Zach Wilson was their best QB since Namath and was by far the best QB in that draft, so Zach's downfall is especially sweet to me.
  25. It can be nasty and they can also be a non-event. Most elder active people have partially torn meniscus and most arent even aware of it.
