McDaniels is a functional idiot, when I first heard him talk I couldn't believe it, an NFL HC sounds like a dribbling dweeb. BUT ALAS, I guess I was wrong, players love playing for him, i was wrong about Tua as well, never thought he would be half as good as he is. Much like Shahnahan ruining RG3, I think there is a very high probability McDaniels does the same to Tua.

Bobby Wagner - the solution to the Edmunds problem
RoyBatty is alive replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I didnt write or infer he is "now trash" but now he has had two serious documented concussions, the Rams have a lot of holes and Stafford now has a Ring....those are all a lot of excellent reasons to retire. -
Thanks and I agree. This board is victim to incredible recency bias and groupthink. A few posters come up with an idea and suddenly is is all the rage and many accept it as gold. Another current and similar thread is we need one offensive minded head coach and also Dorsey sucks, blah blah blah.

Bobby Wagner - the solution to the Edmunds problem
RoyBatty is alive replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the Rams are done and Stafford is old, expensive and had two concussions last year. If he hung it up it wouldnt shock me at all then the rams will really flounder. -
The Hackett Wilson/EJ comment is interesting.

Did Robert Woods have a real rough upbringing didn't have much money at all growing up?

OT…Daniel Jones about to be a very very rich man

That would be hilarious. -

IF they tag him then yes, he aint goin anywhere. Tagging him is just kicking the can down the street, buys them one economically viable year. -

I think Jones gets $40 mil plus, and I wouldn't be shocked at $45 million, to many QB desperate teams. We will have to wait and see. -
Why is Eric Bieniemy available as an OC?
RoyBatty is alive replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
O'Brien was not a pretty good HC, he was mediocre at best as HC, he was an epically bad GM. -

The Pats coaching tree joke, That is ALL you hear about down in Houston after the Bill O Brien fiasco. -

It is plausible, Rivera has had serious health issues and been around a long time, nice way for him to gracefully retire. -
A REPORTER THINKS Packers are "done with Rodgers"
RoyBatty is alive replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
As long as it is outrageously expensive, I am ok with it but I would rather have them overpay old Aaron Rodger, s that will be entertaining as hell if he stumbles at all. -
Can we stop getting carried away. Yes, Mcdermot is Defensive minded as is Frazier, what did you want Frazier to be, offensive minded? And you dont like Dorsey. It is not all on Dorsey, good or bad. Dorsey isnt the reason Josh fumbled the ball in the endzone followed up by a game ending interception. Yes too much is put on Allen but his mistakes have been lethal, one can be intellectually Homest about it or lay the blame on Dorsey or McDermott who was praised here for months as potential HC of the year and We had for most of the season one of the most dynamic offenses around, so lets stop with the hyperbole.

Why bother with Special Teams?
RoyBatty is alive replied to ProcessTruster's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes it is actually enjoyable and exciting to have Hines on the team returning kicks and it certainly paid off in spades versus New England. -

Sure he will, easy call. There are enough desperate teams "one QB away". -

How is a salary cap for QBs supposed to be implemented. Does each team get say $50 million in total for the QB position? So Allen would get $45 and 3 other QBs would split the $5. It would never work, the NFLPA would never agree to it, cant limit the $ for one specific position. The league ebbs and flows and right now QBs are ridiculously important, the league wil evolve and change. -

I disagree on your second sentence and third is absurd comment, imo.. If you have a good enough kicker that can kick it high and right around the goal line, odds are excellent you will gain yardage. Factor in the wind then it can enhance that advantage. You certainly dont "have" to do it every kickoff, depends upon game circumstances. A master of that is Belichek There is no advantage to a defense when the opponents start at the 20 or 25. I couldn't disagree more. So i guess in a game of inches your assert 5 yards is nothing in a kickoff scenario. -
Stop with the hate? LOL. Very directly articulated with the series of plays by Dan Orlovsky, eagles had the same defensive scheme for several plays in a row and the Chiefs exploited it. so I guess Orlovsky also is now a genius. Yes because I disagree with you I have "hate". Whatever, pointless talking to you further.
