  1. He does have a point BUT Miami was the big underdog, they were daring J Allen to throw the deep ball, Allen did what he was trained to do, go to the WRs when they are one on one and Miami is in Cover zero.
  2. What did you expect Frazier to come out and say? Tell them our game plan/strategy? What was it, 7 offensive play from Cinci and people are freaking out?
  3. If Cinci plays the same amount of cover zero, expect a lot of deep balls. The receivers were often, a few Josh missed and as he said the one to John Brown was a mistake but I think a lot of those deep balls were from Josh seeing the defense and launching the ball.
  4. He really does, with his big hands you would think he could hold on better. Maybe he should deflate the ball a la Brady. It has to be tempting for any defender to swat the ball away with a serious tomahawk chop. Lets not forget, his leg knocked the ball loose versus Miami, we got lucky as he fumbled it out of bounds.
  5. I dont think that way. I never said or intimated that. But the reality is he certainly "capable" of playing that way, I know it's a bummer and sometimes reality hurts. No, I am not being "obtuse" unless if posting here is not 100% positive rah rah rah, reality be damned, then maybe I am, in your opinion. You make statements you cant back them up and continually qualify them as if your original comment was correct. Now you move the goal posts to "how he is playing right now". You wrote that Josh interceptions haven't "cost us any games". Incorrect. Of our 3 losses, two are directly attributable to his ints.
  6. I admire Poyer, stand up, quality guy. Now if he can get a 3-year, $15 million deal I would urge him to take it and run. At 32 that is rich.
  7. Josh's interceptions absolutely cost us the Minnesota and the NYJet game #1. Yes I know Buffalo has won eight games in a row, why did you add that? Thanks for stating the obvious.
  8. So Pats, Chiefs, Bills, Jax, Titans play overseas, what is the 6th team?
  9. Joe Burrow of course doesn't see themselves as underdogs, he is way too cocky and needs to be humbled Sunday. And Colin is doing his job, making bold controversial statements that people wil quote.
  10. yep, seems like a toxic combination.
  11. No pressure huh. This has been a recurrent theme by Sports talking heads trying to fill air time and make a controversy and identify which team has "more pressure".
  12. I agree. Bengals could fall off a cliff with their O Line disaster, but you are correct, our sloppy "Hey, I'll take it anyway" wins could come back and bite us.
  13. Now that makes a lot of sense. This could be reminiscent of the Chiefs-Bengals Championship game when Chiefs O Line was all beat up and KC got destroyed. Cinci o line is a similar disaster right now. Lets see what type of pass rush we can muster.
  14. Did I write he was regressing; did I say he had to be perfect, no so don't put words. The narrative of "bumbling" exists because it is real. If you can't be intellectually honest about it just put me on ignore.
  15. 2 ints and three fumbles, be in denial all you want to. Yes int one was off Beasley, and one fumble he wasnt even touched and lost the bal...it is football. How about the Minnesota game, was that not bumbling? Not clownish takes at all, factual realistic takes.
  16. The narrative about a bumbling Allen is correct, sorry, I know it is a bummer but it is real.
  17. Yes I agree BUT look at all the losses they had this year, each and every one you can trace back to the Bills losing the games, by "messing" around, not really getting dominated. The best example of that is the Minnesota game, come on, fumbling in the end zone for a TD, that game was won.? Or the Miami game where we out gained them by what almost 3 to 1 and still were only a second or two away from getting a winning FG. Or the first NY game where Allen throws two picks, a holding call on Dawkins wipes out a big gain and it was still a game. Yes the Bills are a better team than Cinci. Cinci was the team exposed by the Ravens, it wasnt the Bills exposed by Miami. The Bills SHOULD win unless they self inflict wounds. We shall see which Allen shows up.
  18. Where did it start. I am a big believer that the direction of the line moving is extremely strong indicator, moving in our favor is huge imo.
  19. Not to defend McDermott BUT one one of those timeouts, the defense was in a stat of chaos with players milling around not knowing what their assignments were. I blame that on Leslie Frazier.
  20. Interesting. But but but....isn't Bill Belicheks genius the explanation on how Belichek teams do so well to start q3?
  21. Actually he really had three fumbles. The first wasnt technically but he lost the ball out of bounds very early in the game. Them the laughable strip sack for a TD (which kept the game close) and the fumble recovered by Brown. For years pre McDermott this team rarely/never used motion. It isnt that difficult, not an incredible concept but takes time and coaching. We have reasonable player stability, we should use it more often imo.
  22. Good, let the old man keep playing, and if by some miracle he turns elite, it will give KC and the Chargers something to worry about. I will be thrilled to se Brady got to the Pats, happy if he goes to LV.
  23. You can tell when it is going to be a designed run to a RB almost every time. Josh's ball handling to running backs is dreadful, slow and telegraphed for a mile. Maybe he is too adverse to fumbling (another topic in itself) but he had no legerdemain on handoffs, he would struggle mightily as a magician. That is one thing he really needs to work on and start by watching Brady.
  24. Not kicking the first field goal was uber aggressive, what was in 4th and 3? You take the first points. I think psychotically it set the tone, we are going to rush them. Maybe the team "collectively" saw the line and thought it would be a cakewalk. . One of the reasons we had so many long bombs. That is a fan mentality, not a winning HC mentality.
