  1. i agree but they knew they had a problem, I dont think they suddenly realized their O Line sucks and magically pulled their head out of their arse. That is not an accurate assessment imo. They did try to address it but they failed, notably Saffold. And right now it is as if you are assuming they HAVE solved it, we dont know if either McGovern or Torrence (or Edwards or Broeker) will be "the answer".
  2. 2,000 plays like this? I doubt it, especially in a playoff game. I cant recall ever watching a player put forth a weak effort for the first half second and then stand there and watch like a moron as he QB is under attack. I will say the only mitigating factor might be that Saffold was to paranoid about his footing and was too timid to move. This video actually give me hope for next year, we tried to address a glaring weakness. I cant imagine there won't be a massive improvements on the interior o line.
  3. Fina has an absolute killer series ("Off Tackle with John Fina") during football season weekly where he meticulously analyzes certain Bill plays and he shows the good and the bad. And yes from what he says on the podcasts he seems like a genuinely great guy. I highly recommend it.
  4. You mean like sowing dissension on the team so he could be the starter or pouting like a child on the bench during the Music City Miracle?
  5. The more I think about it, in 20 years , the day of a statue pocket QB may be long gone. I think 10 years ago what 10% of QBs could effectively run, what is it now, 30%? One more person for the defense to account for.
  6. This as a terrible waste of time, both mine but especially Allens.
  7. That was entertaining, articulate group of guys with a lot of personalities. And the products ranged from impressive (Alex Austen) to laughable. Still remind me of Josh Allen's attempt at drawing the Bills logo, that was classic and one poster has that as his/her avatar.
  8. Yeah how he use their arms and footwork for these rookies is a total waste of time, do I have the right?
  9. Very eager to see how Edmunds does this year. My prediction another mediocre year. He had all the physical tools (esp length which the Bills covet) but lacked the instincts of which Williams has great instincts and speed to react. Curious to see who had the higher Wonderlic, my money is on Williams.
  10. I would be thrilled with a 13-4 season. I think 11-6 or 10-7 is realistic. I could see any of the 4 winning the AFCE, with the probably exception of the Patriots who have a mediocre QB.
  11. I would agree with the general concept here. You can certainly add in TE/WR and our own Dalton Kincaid. I hate to bring in the evil overlord Bill Belichek but he was one pf the first to preach "versatility" of his players and being able to play different positions. One could even stretch the concept that the position of QB morphing is into a QB/RB.
  12. He was just interviewed on Xirius NFL Radio. Sounds like a very hard working and humbled determined person. Discussed at length all his adversity, very appreciative to have a shot. He has the same agent as Von Miller so I assume (he didn't say it) that is what opened the door. Shane talked about how humbling the last 4 years have been including he even went to a "hub workout" and to the Missouri pro day this year to show off what he can still do. "Has a lot left in the tank", has been in Tampa at the "trench Academy" trying to build up lower body strength and try to be more than just a third down rush the passer players. Knows quite a few Bills notably Mitch Morse.
  13. Seriously, the Jim Richter, "our" Jinn Richter is now an airline Pilot for American airlines.
  14. Are you kidding me? Form a committee, to potentially delete players? Except for the OJ debate (which is really up to them), you don't form a committee to take players off the wall. It is a lifetime honor, once you are there, you are there for life like any Hall of Fame. What do the players have to do once the achieve it.....have wait every year see if the "committee" decides to take them down?
  15. can we stop with this routine already?
  16. McDermott is gong nowhere unless the team is a disaster, he would need a losings seasons even still might be safe.
  17. Airline pilot for American Airlines. A guard who was on the Bills for over a decade, all 4 super bowls and is on the Bills Wall of Fame.
  18. I really dont appreciate many of the other teams videos, one has to know the player personalities to really understand the different nuances/references thrown in.
  19. I can understand the mindset. I was more excited about Kincaid a week after the draft than I was Allen. At that time, Allen was a massive gamble. Oh he is inaccurate, from a small school blah blah blah. I really got excited re Allen after an incredible TD pass he completed in preseason versus Carolina? threading the needle between two defenders a pass very very few NFL QBs could complete.
  20. That was Chris Kelsay for a lot of Bill Fans.
  21. Honestly, who the hell cares. Gotta spend al that money one way or another.
  22. Yes from the totally reliable Celebrity Gossip site DeuxMoi. That is almost as credible as quoting posts here at OBD. Ah the price of celebrity in the digital age.
  23. Yeah that is cute and all but that is what the entire league has been saying about the Bills until a few year ago. I sure hope you are right though. This FEELS like it could be a classic Jets blunder, just like Zach Wilson being the answer. Overpay for a , lets be gracious and say "unique" darn near over the hill QB. Ahh I vividly recall that loudmouth Mike Greenberg extolling about the wunderkid Zach Wilson after one excellent pre-season game, he was giddy with excitement. I think Rodgers could be the epic fail of all time.
  24. lol, notoriously slow. Is nutritiously even a word?
  25. I would love to know who really Spags is,
