  1. I somewhat hated it is well but it was intriguing, like watching a car wreck. The various shots of Buffalo and a lot of what they did was very "Buffalo" to me.
  2. I dont disagree with you at all, but begrudgingly, Belichek has made some great gm moves in the Patriot way by trading very popular players as they wee nearing their peak so he could get top value for them and the list is long. Belichek did a great job resurrecting (IMO) randy moss and in the Patriot way when Moss was washed up traded him away.
  3. Oh, 2 minute warning, I was thinking 13 seconds but final 2 minutes in an NFL game is a long long time. The Nyheim Hines highlight reel game.
  4. KC was dynamic on offense but letting the Chief score 33 points is, imo, a defense not playing well.
  5. Yes they have given him free reign...in other words just enough rope to hang himself. They dont want to discipline their own members so let Rodger do it and take all the heat. Another reason why he gets paid so absurdly much. Makes a lot of sense to me. I am a trainer for Boxer X who has an undisclosed illness so I tell Josh Allen to bet the house on his opponent and when Allen gets a solid inside tip in a game his is playing, he pays back his boxing buddy with the intel.
  6. I agree 100%. SBXXVIII was lost on 1 play, the Thurman Thomas fumble. After that myself as a fan said the game was lost even though we had the lead and were to get the ball back.
  7. Actually I think it was semantics, poorly written imo. Obviously it was "bad" to lose 4 in a year, hell it was bad to lose 1 but I was reflecting would you like to go through that era again, I said absolutely.
  8. No way, it was a magical time, the vibe was incredible, borderline surreal. I have always said I just want 1 more trip the the SB, just one!
  9. I could describe the movie a lot of ways, one of the last that would come to mind was "hilarious". I found the tone dark and depressing .
  10. Great point, yep I would be spying Allen too if I was a DC versus him so a RB screen is problematic. Now TE and WRs screens make a lot of sense, esp if Kincaid pans out
  11. Yep. The great Nathaniel Hackett is going to get steamrolled by Rodgers similar what happened to him in Denver with the Broncos "savior" Russell Wilson last year. So far they have added the old has been receiver Randall Cobb. We will be able to see what kind of de-facto OC Rodgers can be.
  12. i hope you were being facetious, this is NEVER going away.
  13. I think Hines was a de-facto Isaiah McKenzie replacement that wont drop as many balls. I agree, we should actually THROW once in a while to our RBs, especially Cook and Hines, they both have speed and operate well in space. Maybe do something radical this year like a screen pass to a RB, maybe our O Line with Kromer in and Dorsey in year 2 can actually design some plays.
  14. The concept of aggressive defensive play on receivers in the playoffs has plagued the Bills for decades really. Multiple coaches don't understand or cant gear up defenders in playoff football which is almost always called differently than regular season, especially the Super Bowl. How did the Bills lose the Super Bowl versus the Redskins, it was rampant pass interference that was never called. It was so aggressive Andre Reed finally lost it and REED got a penalty for his outburst. When he got that penalty game was, imo, effectively over.
  15. Yes we can do some outside motion with them but now we do have more "size". Lets see if they have "solved" their totally inept guard play this year, combined with Harris I think they could actually run the ball for TDs.
  16. Roger Ebert called the Brown Bunny" the worst movie in the history of Cannes". Gallo responded by calling Ebert a "fat pig with the physique of a slave trader".
  17. More or less, not directly but it is implied, a lot of outside shots of Buffalo. Type of movie you only want to watch once but it is interesting.
  18. Well I will "ride" on his injury last season as an "excuse". Either it was his innate ability or Davis was the luckiest receiver in the world in the playoffs, just everything clicked (looking at the film it is hard not to disagree) or it was a total on off situation.
  19. And 2 of 3 gonzo. 3 in the bottom 20 is ridiculous. We had little choice but to keep Davis. It wasnt as if Mckenzie/Singletary were dropping bullets thrown by Allen, that I could understand a bit. Also lends credibility to why the wanted Kincaid so desperately, a player that has the best hands in years. Didnt Knox have a lot of drops his first two years? He seems to have cleaned it up or I am wrong.
  20. I hate to agree with you. Hines record as a RB is not impressive. He has averaged 3.9/yc and in 5 years scored 10 rushing TDs. Looking at his numbers I dont really understand the trade beyond the Bills were unimpressed by Moss and wanted to move on, just as they did with Singletary, clean out the RB room and also move on from McKenzie as a return specialist..
  21. And it is only a matter of time before he gets hurt in the pocket , so what. Simple fact is statistically Josh is "safer" on his design runs than in the pocket. You are right none of us have crystal balls.
  22. I think the planned runs by Allen are fine, he doesn't get hurt by them. His injuries happen in the pocket, I like the designed runs but we just have too many, it is like a crutch, when we really needs yards they dial up a planned run.
