Benford - Was he being showcased? (Opinion, not a rumor)
RoyBatty is alive replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly who are you referring to -
No, of course not only for people that are rigid in their thought. It is like the criticism John Lunch and the 49ers are getting over how much they spent on Trey Lance and he is a third string QB. Meanwhile at the same time they dont acknowledge their starter was Mr Irrelevant, last man in the draft Brock Purdy. In the total analysis, does it really matter? Important thing is that got their QB.

TRADE: Arizona ships Simmons to Giants for a 7th
RoyBatty is alive replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dont rule out the Texans or the Colts, both with rookie QBs and Richardson in no way is already to start in the NFL imo. And the last Texans pre season game I saw was dreadfully bad. -

Will Bruce Smith’s sack record ever be broken?
RoyBatty is alive replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
All athletic records eventually will be broken. I recall many predicted Jim Browns record would never been broken and he isnt even in the top 10 RBs of all time anymore. -
Great job, thanks for posting. Putting the blame on 2 rookies makes me feel better, especially Kincaid whose largest weak point as a Tight End is his blocking. Josh Allen pocket presence is a bit concerning, how much of this was because of pre-season I don't know or because Josh has almost always " gotten away" with leaving the pocket early and improvising..

Dorian and my pet peeve with the staff on rookies
RoyBatty is alive replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree om everything, especially on Elam. I was a huge supporter of him coming into this year but he looks lost, so far. Still holding out hope but he looks BAD. And your comment about hand holding, not sure how you meant that but he is a very "handsy" cornerback. At some point i think he will probably be a better safety and he has the size. -
This lets create a new "nickname" is so contrived. The great nicknames come by organically, trying to jam one in are almost always a failure.

Gee, amazing how many times you are going to bring this up. -
Dalvin actually owes some $ to the Bills with his big contract, that 80 yard run we gifted him last year was a joke, we bearly touched him.

Bills practice Thurs 8/17 starting with McD interview
RoyBatty is alive replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
He will be starting MLB next year, too much for the rookie to do the defensive call his first year. Interesting to hear Ed Oliver yesterday, said he was so used to Tremaine calling the plays even when Tremaine mumbled or was tired, he knew what he was saying. This year, Oliver has had to pay close attention to he MLBer. -

Well then go ahead and freak out about it. Last time McDermott was "concerned" about something (Diggs not at practice) we spent weeks debating it here. -
OT…opinions of ESPN anymore?
RoyBatty is alive replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I stopped watching seriously when the "Summer of Kaepernick" hit. Every other show was a debate about Kaepernick with the hosts constantly trying to one up themselves on the outrage he wasnt in the NFL. I watch sports to escape, not to be lectured yet again on politics. -
Hopefully he isnt hurt but decides to retire immediately having dodged a bullet here.
