TRADE! Giants send Williams to Seattle for 2nd
RoyBatty is alive replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
I dislike Pete Carroll but I have to give him or their organization a lot of credit for what they got from a declining Russel Wilson (sans last game) and how they resurrected Geno Smith is incredible, two major home runs. -

One bad trade you reference. Now lets examine the BIG deals. What did they get for Russel Wilson? What did they give up for Geno Smith? -
Tackling is a rough sport for the Bills.

Yep, pretty much confirmed by the eye test. -
I predicted this because that is EXACTLY what Belichek did to us (with great success) when Tremaine was a rookie.

Giants Jets game - Daboll's call to attempt a FG

You mean like what the Bills let Mac Jones do yo us a week ago? -
So based off one play of a 31 year old veteran that has played on three different NFL teams, based off that, you cite McD doesn't teach discipline or individual accountability? Good thing you dont jump to conclusions.

I am! After that abomination in New England must be fans should be upset with how the team is playing. Three weeks in a row with terrible games we were were fortunate it wasn't 4 with that hail mary that no bill even touched, very fortunate we did get a PI on it (yes rarely called on hail marys) or the Bucs didnt catch it. How does a hail mary hit the ground unatouched?

So What? The platitude you state doesn't come close to answering the posters question.

Why is this team, and staff, so dumb?

Dolphins Will Be On In-season Hard Knocks
RoyBatty is alive replied to 14774's topic in The Stadium Wall
excellent, great distraction. have to admit, brilliant move. the idiot savant (giving him a lot of credit) Mike Mcdaniels is must see tv. he can talk about his own personal demons as can the dirt ball tyreek hill. ego and there are plenty in miami. -
I had a similar "Guy doesn't have it" moment. Texans versus the Bills , I was at the perfect angle at Reliant in Houston. EJ backs up, lofts a bill towards then end zone until JJ Watt jumps up, intercepts the ball and proceeds to go untouched 80 yards for a pick 6. It was like watching a slow moving car wreck live. Imagine, a defensive tackle getting an 80 yards pick six.

I agree with BBFL. Fitzpatrick has to be the Bills fan favorite overall. Of course Kyle is a fan favorite, more so from the impact he actually had on the team and the results. Fitz is just genuinely liked by the fan base for who he is, not his stellar play with the Bills (although he did have a few good years).

Oh yeah, you are correct, I forgot about that. To me it was a ridiculous over-reaction to a doofus owner McNair. I dont have any problem with Buzbee and the McNair-Buzbee association has more to them being next door neighbors in river oaks more than anything else. It was McNairs best interest to lets the entire sex scandal never surface so I dont see any "retribution". Now the Jack Easterby thing was bizarre and understand why it would give you the creeps. McNair is a very devout Christian and Easterby the snake oil salesmen , like Elmer Gantry. Not at all a shock he was duped, I think the uproar over Easterby got too much and Cal's wife forced him out. She has the brains that Cal doesn't have. I think somewhat similar to our ownership.

A lot of sighting including Nick O'Leary of Jack Nicklaus progeny.

To my knowledge, no. Several of the ESPN talking heads (Michael Wilbon and Steven A Smith amongst several )tried to push that agenda when he fired David Culley who was a functional idiot and then fired Lovie Smith after one year the next year. Both firings were the correct call and now the they a great head coach in Demeco Ryans who I think is light years better than whet we have.

You mean like Terry Pegula and his alleged racist comment? Yes his incredibly horrific racist comment was he called Covid the "China virus". Of course Cal fell in line like the coward he is and apologized. I am no fan of him, I knew his father and know OF Cal whom, as i said, is a dolt but I was responding to the other poster claiming McNair was a scumbag. Someone else claims Watson was "enabled" in his sexual deviancy by the Texans and then Cal threw him under the bus which is laughable,

Worst Sean McDermott Offense Coordinator

Imagine that. Yet another opportunity to bash Dorsey thread. -
Would McDermott Fire Dorsey If We Fail Thursday?
RoyBatty is alive replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, i am trendinging in that direction now. Yes I know we lost Milano, White, & Jones but every team has injuries. I never bought into the "defensive guru" non-sense. Maybe he was 10-15 years ago but antiquated old schemes systems don't last long in the NFL. -

RoyBatty is alive replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
No I am not saying that or insinuating it, not at all. Read what I wrote again then. The Bills lost on Sunday because of the defense, NOT because of the offense or Dorsey but many are obsessed and want to scape goat him for everything. The Bills lost on Sunday because we made Mac Freakin Jones look like Tom Brady. -
Mac Jones Career Day yesterday
RoyBatty is alive replied to RoyBatty is alive's topic in The Stadium Wall
Depends on how you look at it but he did have a great game versus them. IMO he did have a career day versus the Vikings last year (until yesterday) as they were a defensive sieve. He threw for more yards versus the Vikings with a lot more throws, completed 71.7 versus the Vikings versus 83.3 versus us, scored more points versus us and was perfect in a game winning ending drive.
