NFL for the first time in decades saw a decrease in popularity, not being dramatic a simple fact. I live in football crazy Texas, 20 years ago very few parents were worried about their kids play football, i would say right now probably a third wont even let their kids play. NFL popularity is falling and will fall just as other sports have through the years and the lawyers will only get richer. You will start to see high school football banned in states, then college players start suing their former collleges, etc. Pro football will look like the all star game in 20 years.

its just starting so everyone just makes it up come game time. That should make for safer games when nobody knows what they are doing

I am all in on rotation when you can do it effectively (unlike last year's embarrassment) esp early in the season, NFL to a large degree is a battle of attrition

We can still end the season on high note playing the Bills and Jets at home.

I am not going to get too excited about this. DTs can have a good game and show nothing on the stat sheet and they rotated their D Lineman, so what. If you can "afford" to rotate and the game is under control why not, the season is very long. No if his stat sheet is blank for a few more weeks , then there is something to get worried about.

Reliving their year with Randy Moss, allegedly open up the deep threat. Cooks can get open for sure, issue is can good ole To, get him the ball deep, I am not so sure.

Need to keep a watch on Mabin hope no other team picks him up, to the OP point, realistically we are going to need another CB at some point this season, nice to have him in the wings.

Except for TE, DL, FB we aren't exactly stacked. Would be nice if the Bills had a CB on the PS, one safety who I never heard of. We can always cal up Colt Anderson or the CB we just released. We are going to keep a lot of DLineman with their rotational scheme. FWIW as Belichek always says you can never have enough CBs in this league, Pats have 5 CBs and 6 Safeties, so far that strategy isn't working out for them this season.

Also thank the Pegula's, very very few owners would have taken the chance on him.

I didnt key on Mills bit there were two plays in a row where it was impossible to miss how he, by himself, blew up two plays in a row killing a drive. Incognito deserved to make it based on his play on the int, knocking the Jet into the ball carrier than tackling and stripping the ball, loved it..then when the other Jet jumped on Incongito he played it up for a penalty from the refs, loved the entire sequence, smart heads up play. I thought you had to have a three inch playbook to be a good coach?

nothing like good ole fashioned team work there rex. I admit I bought into his BS here as well, gave him a pass from NYJets as the GM was& organization were dysfunctional. I finally got over the snake oil salesman after the KC game with its multiple coaching fiascoes.

Great post. I recall so many broken assignments last year with the inevitable finger pointing, i would mention a few names but no point in starting that up.

I think a l;ot of people are on TT for throwing it because, being the quality leader he is, Tyrod took the blame for that saying it was a bad decision when, in fact I agree 100%, it was not a bad decision.

Yeah, he looked real bad yesterday. He definitely looks beatable. But I will say, he still has an arm, on that int he throw it was 55 yards in the air with a tight sprial, not many qbs could throw a dart like that 55 yards.

Head fakes, oh yeah. I admit it, I bought in during the Fitzmagic 4-5 game run, the win against the PAts was the best since the Super Bowl era and we all know how that worked out. At least I never bought a Fitzmagic T-shirt or thought calling the WRs "the goon squad" was cool or creative. Need more games before I will feel this is anything more than a sub par to mediocre team.
