  1. After the Bills victory on Sunday, we will see comments on TSW such as:

    "It's only the Jets"

"We beat a team tanking worse than us"

"Should have beat them by more, it was still 0-0 after 5 minutes, so embarrassing"

"We'll see how they perform this week against a better team"

"Their terrible" (yes the incorrect use of their was intentional)

"A good team would have beat us"

    "We really missed SW"

    "Ralph is cheap"

You forgot "its all Brandon's fault"

  2. Video.

Again, i would suggest that you are the one with a reading comprehension problem. "If" introduced the presumed fact that the suspect was black.

LOL, yeah ok, who do you think you are bullshitting, i will give you credit for creative spin.

  3. Flutie probably could have been less of a jerk, but an owner dictating who plays QB is never going to end well. The entire RJ-Flutie situation was a mess. The moment that Ralph decided to bench Flutie was the moment that tore the team apart. Everything else is somewhat moot knowscetaintexcae

Wade deserves a lot of blame, he had no balls, just like with the entire turmoil with Doug/Johnson, it was his job to stop it, just like in Dallas, the owner wants to steamroll you if they care to, he/she will. Wade tacitly likes to leave the blame on Ralph but the only ones that really know what happened are Ralph and Wade. The current football urban legend is that Ralph demanded Wade start Rob, I am skeptical. I dont care what ever second party hearsay from Andree Reed or anyone else has to opin.

  4. It's one of those things where if there's smoke there's fire. Different accounts pointing to basically the same thing. The most famous was Gleason's article in 2001 - it's hard to find on the net still - but copied here https://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/90671-you-gotta-love-the-flutie-magic/page-18?do=findComment&comment=1467198

Wow, I never read this before but here were a lot of other indications and it was well known half the Bills (like Bruce Smith) were for Flutie, other half for R Johson. Again Wade deserves a lot of blame, he couldnt keep it under control. I recall the Music City Miracle game, little Dougie pouted the entire game sitting on the bench, didn't stand and help R Johnson at all. As that article said, it was more about Doug Flutie than the Bills. Flutie was QBing a lot that year, i am sure there are things he saw and could have helped, he should have acted like a pro, not a spoiled brat.

Flutie also worked the press, he worked jim Rome and he eat it up, Flutie was always mocking R Johnson for being a, well lets say alternative life style guy from CA with a bandanna, the press picked up on it so much there is even a youtube video where a respected Bills reporter mocks Johnson about the Bandanna saying Johnson was a poor leader, Johnson probably was, he apparently never stood up for himself and had the appearance of being very weak.

Both Johnson and Wade were weak imo and Doug ran all over them. That is on reason why I think Wade was a very poor HC which a lot of people disagree with, great DC, poor HC. Wade also let Jerry Jones run all over him in Dallas.

  5. I watched him play. Every game he played as a Bill. Loved the D, Flutie was ok. Hated the personality, he thought he was better than his play said he was. He was a QB that every game I watched him play I wanted to replace with someone better.

100% spot on, you wil get dumped on here but I agree. He helped fracture the lockerroom and Wade was too weak to reign him in. His best year with the Bills he had 3,171 yd, 55% completion, 19 tds, 16 ints, i guess impressive by Bills standards.

  6. Bills fans just turn on anyone that leaves or has an opinion. Rex has done more with his life than many of you put together.

Certainly helps to have his father as a legendary NFL: head coach. He would be a High School position coach with Buddy.

Having sail that, I would love to hear him as a color commentator, you could never predict what boneheaded stupid thing or insult would come out of his bloated mouth.

  7. Bledsoe

    Flutie

    Fitz

    Taylor

    Orton

For some reason or another I enjoyed watching the games when Fitz and Orton were playing even though the teams may not have been as good.

I agree. Orton actually got us a winning season and Fitz brought us the good squad and Fitzmagic, phenomenons that lasted bout 7 weeks, to go along with a huge contract extension. Fitz was fun, gotta give the guy credit he could throw a bad int and come right back and throw another, and then another.

  8. Thinkof this, his two former teams are projected to be at or near the bottom in the NFL.

Vegas Odds to win the Super Bowl from have the Jets 1000 to 1, the Bills 200 to 1....There is 4 way tie between Cleveland, San Fran, Chic and Jax at 100 to 1.

i thought it was a "good" team too. Then 10 men on the field happened and I lost all faith I had left in Rex. That was when I finally said he had to go. Then the interview after he was fired and that made me nauseaus because he couldn't be more classless in addition to not putting in the effort to make the team a winner.

I bought all in on Rex, I admit it but I did a 180 after the Kansas City game where he screwed up all the challenges and tried to use as an excuse he didnt know how the replay system worked. Really, after being a NFL HC for 6 season didn't know how the replay system worked? Inexcusable.

Then the Pegula's let him bring in the ft slob brother of his, the DC from the worst Defense in the NFL that was fired mid-season, truly unbelievable.

The 10 men on the feild wasnt that a TD versus the Texans, that was a beauty. Or how about out 2 minute drills with Tyrod Taylor, wowzer, some of those were classics.

  9. If the article is criticizing the Cardale Jones trade i thin they are dead wrong, Cardale is a disaster at QB, miracle they got anything and Boldin retiring was a god send to us, over the hill to say the least. And yes he is a rookie but Jones has shown a lot at WR and that deserves to be mentioned in the "no wide receivers" sentence.

I want to see the team Boldin joins, that wil be good for laughs

  10. I wonder what happens to that 26.74 if you take Lorax out of the mix and replace him with a 26 year old.

    Excellent point.

The average age really isnt relevant, what you need to evaluate are how many KEY players on the downside, Lorax, K Williams, Incognito . and how many players are on the edge Wood (good thing we just extended him) McCoy, Clay, Ducasse (puke), Banyard, T Jones (how did he make the roster?)

You have a Colt Anderson on the roster who is 31, does he really matter, of course not.
