Hightower out for season
RoyBatty is alive replied to D. L. Hot-Flamethrower's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Billie has sat him down a lot after that one fumble, that is a no no. Cant be, can't be Belichek is a genius i tell you, an absolute genius. -
I was sarcastic, BLM had that fully expressed to the public. The scope of the Weinstein was a shock and his affiliation with Hilary, ehh that is a can of worms I wont open but the hypocrites have fingerprints all over it, they all kept their mouths shut for decades. Hollywood is supposed to be so inclusive, so "progressive"......really?

Preston Brown on Jim Rome at 2pm-ish
RoyBatty is alive replied to Seasons1992's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks. Report back please, I know Rome's shtick too well. How long is Rome going to go on and on about him not being able to pick up that fumble, my over/under is 30 seconds. -
Matt Milano starting LB from here on out?
RoyBatty is alive replied to The Now Moment's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What is Milano, 221 pounds, yes he is very good in coverage if I were an offense I would run right at him, punish him. -
Good line, I am dead to you, oh well, that is certainly tragic turn of events but I will survive. So before Kapernick no one was aware that racism exists still and there are some bad cops. No i didnt need Colin kneeling to figure that out. And no one in the country had heard of BLM before Colin. Thank GOD we have a celebrity to makes us aware. You have an excellent point re Weinstein, it has been a huge positive catalyst also demonstrates what a bunch of incredible hypocrites Hollywood is, many of them know what was going on for years. That has resulted in positive change, I dont see anything positive thus far from what Kapernick has done, I think if anything it is only divided people but that is just my opinion.

Chargers are the best 3-4 team in the NFL with the best 3-4 QB. I really fell sorry for Rivers last couple years. -
Change the system huh, apply it fairly , good luck. At the end of the day this is like debating abortion, nothing is going to change. So now some racist cop is not going to gun down an innocent AA because "they are onto me now"? Nothing will change. It will ultimately be as useless as this thread in changing ones mind or hearts. We might have some feel good sessions with owners and Kapernick and the owners will come up (I could say shake down) with a bunch of money and donate to Kapernicks causes like Assasta's Daughter Beyond all holding hands at midfield in a show of "solidarity" I see no peace, love and kumbaya out of any of this.

This offseason Quarterback options
RoyBatty is alive replied to The Now Moment's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So many teams looking to do the same thing, trading up is going to be epically expensive this year, unless of course most of the leading QBs continue to disappoint like Darnold. This was supposed to be such a great QB class a lot of teams were hoping for their franchise QB. -
This Defense

Any idea when he is expected back? -
That really is a shocker

Big difference, BLM is an anti-cop movement, there is an active anti-cop mantra, the cops were shot BECAUSE they were cops, that was the only reason. To me that reeks of prejudice, exactly what they are accusing the cops of. I am not aware of any police entity that has been advocating targeting any group of people as "evil", there is no motivation for violence promulgated by the police therefore your analogy fails. There are bad cops, there will always be bad cops but you have to consider things in PROPORTION. When you said the percentage of cops that are bad was irrelevant I know there would be no agreeing. If you expect cops to be 100% perfect you might as well disband every police force right now and live in total anarchy. As I said, who in the right mind would want to be cop right now.

This is just in Texas, Officer Goforth was shot in the back of the head by a BLM supporter at a gas stations, 5 officers were killed during a BLM March in Dallas, the cops were there to protect and keep the peace, so lets all hear about the peaceful BLM movement. Everyone knows the names of Micheal Brown, Tamir Rice, Freddie Gray, etc. Can anyone name one cop shot in Dallas?

Hightower out for season

To think the Pats are the same as always is ludicrous. If Tampa Bay could make field goals and the Houston DB could hold onto a ball, the Pats would be 3-4 right now. They arent the dominant team they have been in the past, not even close. -
So Klos, what percent of cops do you think act out their racist tendencies and killed minorities unjustifiably? Since BLM started so far at least 6 cops in Texas were shot because of BLM. What percent of those involved in BLM do you think are cop killers? Who in their right mind would want to be a cop today? A big portion of the country hate you, you get paid squat, you put your life on the line and God help you if you defend yourself.

Hightower out for season
RoyBatty is alive replied to D. L. Hot-Flamethrower's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They also said that when Hightower is out earlier this season and nothing happened. If I am Ninkovich I would stay retired, he went out on top, why gamble on what the Pats are this year. -
As of now I only see maybe 3 probowlers

McCoy is gong to have to radically pick up the pace to have a shot. I agree on the secondary players. Tra White DROY, poor Myles Garret and his injuries. -
Refs for the Bills game are...
RoyBatty is alive replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
NFL is really struggling with popularity, they know all the numbers on the refs and how long the games take. I noted he has only refed 5 games this year. Wonder if they are phasing him out, one can only hope. -

Cardinals aren't likely going anywhere Carson Palmer is on his last legs, trade, if I am the Cardinals I would trade him for New England's first -
Hope you are right but I would not base anything on Clay's health. His knees are walking time bombs. I really dont expect him to remain healthy after he come back.

Hightower out for season

Well there goes setting their edge again, gonna really hurt. What took them so long to report it, it came from the game Sunday. Oh Belichek I forgot. -
Actually that plays into our defensive strength, except for that blown coverage against Howard last week and the Cicni Game (one or two others i am no doubt missing), Bills have been very good at stopping the big plays, it has been the short & intermediate passing routes that have killed our zone for yards. So it is Pittsburgh in the North, Dallas in MExico City but it looks like it is going to be real loud in support of NE's "away" game in Mexico City.
