  1. She was got cold cocked in the head by a fist, Gronk elbowed they guy on the ground in the head with a metal brace, yes i think they are in the same universe. Both were defenseless. Difference is she was a female, he was an athlete with some protective gear. I dont think you would have that sentiment if Gronk broke his beck and paralyzed him
  2. Please mention of few "far worse hits"? Just a few. Only one I can think of that even close close is some of Suh antics but nothing as egregious as Gronks.
  3. I think a metal elbow brace wielded by a 270 lb world class athlete could be considered a deadly weapon. "A deadly weapon is generally defined as a firearm or anything manifestly designed, made, or adapted for the purposes of inflicting death or serious physical injury." I believe his elbow brace was "adapted" by Gronk to inflict serious physical injury.
  4. If the NFL is going to waste millions on deflategate then they the NFl really needs to examine that elbow brace to determine how much of a weapon it really could be. As I wrote earlier, notice Gronk's footwork before he pile drives at his head, he was lining himself up to get max force to his head, it was about as willful an act as I have ever seen on a football field. Only player comes close if N. Duh.
  5. Very interesting point, imagine the publicity, yes this is something an enterprising DA could use to boost his/her career. Instant national publicity and hero worship in WNY.
  6. I agree, they will likely come up short. If they suspend Zeke Elliot for what, 6 games, they should suspend Gronk the rest of the regular season but i highly doubt the NFL will have the balls to do that. Entire system for suspensions is a farce.
  7. Not so sure about that. I would like to know what the elbow brace is made of, direct and powerful elbow to the head with a brace, gronk putting all his body weight in it. Notice Gronk's footwork before he rears up to gain more leverage to come down on his head. The more you look at it the more deliberate and disgusting it is, he set up tre white for as forceful an impact as possible.
  8. i put the odds at 90% he is suspended one game, 25% 2 or more. The NFL has NO choice but to suspend him if they want any consistency and be taken serious about players health.
  9. What if Tre White was paralyzed by the hit. Does anyone not think criminal charges would have been filled?
  10. It has happened in similar situations in hockey and players have received convictions, it is extremely extremely unlikely in this case but I think it will happen in the future. Then there is the civil side, Imagine if Tre White's career was over, Gronk has some very deep pockets. The NFL and players association would fight it in court but to just claim it couldn't happen is simply inaccurate. This is a Pandora's box no one but effete SJWs and the lawyers want to open up. One more reason the NFL is dying, in 20 years the NFL is going to look like the pro bowl.
  11. He took off Wed practice this week and the week before. Age and hits are taking their tool. Hit him hard, hit often, take the roughing the passer penalties.
  12. Great pickup along with Poyer, hope you love beng a Bill Micah.
  13. great and salient line, wish I had come up with that
  14. Elway is a demi-god that delivered 2 Super Bowls as a player and one as a GM, he aint goin anywhere for years unless he wants to.
  15. ESPN took a month old quote from Tyrod, implied something that wasn't tjhere and applied it to the benching, ESPN created the story imo.
  16. Be great if he started and played like an all star, watch this board go apoplectic. Odds of that happening, 1%.
  17. LOL, makes me want to shop at kroger. I cant stand that loudmouth Deion, i watch his shown for 5 minutes til i can't take it anymore. Imagine all the Dallas Cowboy morons that would go and shop there and gawk at his house everyday, love it. Dumbass Denin, want to build a mansion buy the prorperty around it to protect it, deserves you right.
  18. You can't watch ESPN before too long they will pick up, generate, fabricate something about racism. Give a lot of "credit" to Kapernick, look at the months and months of attention he received Ironically enough I would say the NFL was about as racist free an environment as you could imagine, we dont care what color you are just win. Considering the racial structure, it was a remarkably peaceful coexistence for a long time......despite the white Commissioner handing out absurd penalties for irrelevant out of the workplace violations....., most of the owners, fans, and refs are white whereas most of the players, the real product is AA. No wonder someone could think TT's benching and banning team celebrations were racially driven.
  19. Zero, obviously not especially after ESPN trumpeted the idea mixing Tyrod's comment from weeks prior that black QBs are held in different regard and then twisted into Tyrod's benching as racism. "Journalism" at is modern day "finest", what a farce.
  20. Every moronic notion that pops into any imbecile's mind ends up on twitter, so what ? It certainly doesn't lend it any credibility.
  21. Good god, racist? Are you kidding me? Do people really think in such terms, racist? Idiotic, people WANT to see racism wherever whenever they can.
  22. This from the Chiefs fan rant, reads almost like he wrote it for buffalo: Alex Smith averaged 5.5 yards per pass completion. The Chiefs have scored ten points or less two weeks in a row. The defense is not forcing turnovers. Special teams are not contributing. They almost got a muffed punt, but nothing. The Chiefs success has been based on taking the ball away from the other team, and that is no longer happening. And when your starting QB is known as a guy who doesn’t turn the ball over or make errors at critical junctures to beat you, that goes out the window today as well. Chiefs for 2 for 13 on third down,
  23. AS much as I despise both Ray Lewis and Jimmie Johnson, they both deserve to get in as does don Coryell as he revolutionized the game.
  24. I agree, it is proabaly 50/50 at nest. 25% chance TT starts ( he leads us to the playoffs) 25% pick up a vet 25% we draft high and he starts 25% Peterman I am all in favor of letting patience and letting Peter man develop but there is a good **** he is not ready next year.
