Theory about Raiders/Gruden

He is going to have a splashy new product, one hell of an interesting team in, so many draft picks, possibly the number one pick. He is better than any team ever. -

How and Why The Bills Could Win Monday Night
RoyBatty is alive replied to Kevin1778's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually the Bills could have a real shot at winning if the wind and rain make in nearly impossible to throw the ball, that would give us realistic hope, instead of 1 in 20 to win maybe 1 in 3. Ole Tom doesn't exactly have the velocity anymore to cut throw heavy wind/rain like he used to. Neither team can throw the ball then we do have a real shot. Then again with our versus their special teams that is probably 7 points right there. -
Brandon was still here we would be in the never ending 5-9 win category...so we actually made the playoffs last year, that wasn't happenin with Brandon, and we h=jettisoned tens of millions in wasted cap space, he would have never done that. Two or three years from now if The Bills are a solid bona-fide playoff team this "process" failed miserably.

Anderson's real value to the team
RoyBatty is alive replied to BruceVilanch's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly how may years did these three guys play QB in the NFL? In fact how many years did these three guys play QB at all. I thin he would have won last Sunday. He can be a game manger. -
So who do we want to start at qb this Sunday?
RoyBatty is alive replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anderson. This season is not our year for a super bowl, let Allen sit and learn before he gets really hurt. -
Yes. Any rookie QB that takes the chances he takes, holds onto the ball as long as he does and runs without out sliding frequently is going to be "injury prone".

Josh Allen likes to talk some smack on the field
RoyBatty is alive replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was McKinney and it in particular after took a brutal but fair hit from McKinney. I thought Allen might get hurt but he popped up and gave McKinney some smack. Allen is tough i grant you thought but it was for a very small gain and Allen took a vicious hit, he has to play smarter if he is gong to survive. -
Bills Defense is Overrated. They Choked.

Non-sense, happens all the time in the NFL. Offenses have no choice but to play aggressive, go for it each and every play, and they get a massive penalty put the ball on the one. Say what you want about that drive it was pretty amazing to me the Bills held them to a filed goal after getting the ball on the one. -
Clearly he wouldn't be my number one or even 20 choice but he is better than Peterman. Man been in the league long enough, mediocre QB to be of value. but give me a better alternative. No when i said psychologically frail referring to if he gets all bent out os shape by being benched. And 1) I agree, Allen isnt ready, stating the borederline obvi0ous, so be it. He is nowhere near a polished product. 2) No tnecesassarily, maybe they are just no trying to get Allen killed, let Anderson take the hits.
-
What i realize is you have poor reading comprehension/cognitive skills. Letting him play now behind that line he has an excellent change of getting hurt, i dont see as taking a beating is great for his long term development. If Anderson is better he should be benched. If, as I wrote, Allen loses his self confidence because of the benching (that is what i was rerferring to as pscyholoigcally frail), then he likely is not our future. I also realize i accidentally recommended.
-
Disagree, if he is that psychologically frail than he isnt our future anyway. Letting him play before he is ready and the beating he has taken (excpet for the Titans game) I dont see as productive. Anderson is old but at least Allen can watch how a veteran prepares and does thing, he is just wining it now, Peterman is over zero help.
