Ranking the AFC East Defensive Lines
RoyBatty is alive replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A lot of uncertainty with the Bills D Line, two big questions, does Trent Murphy (as Ethan ion Portland stated Lawson isnt the answer) get back to his prior year form and does he stay healthy and Ed Oliver, rookie, total question mark, does he have it as a rookie? If both pay lights out and stay healthy then i thin we could have the best D Line in the AFCE. -
Flutie was a great QB, that is in the CFL. I have already written this in this thread but once again... Flutie was a me first guy, it was more about Flutie than it was the team. He purposely polarized the lockeroom against rob Johnson (and he got away with it because Wade Philips is a great coach but doesnt have the balls often to stand up to people). When flutie was benched he pouted on the bench like an 8 yr old girl, refused to help, he is the definition of an unprofessional and a selfish spoiled brat player. As maligned as rob johnson is around here he engineered one of the great Bills playoff comabacks and easily could have gone all the way to the Super Bowl, had not the music City Miracle fiasco happened..then the ENTIRe Rob johnson-Doug Flutie Narrative could be dramatically different.

Spot on although Flutie was a much worse teammate and leader. Tyrod never, to my knowledge, tried to tear apart the lockeroom and destroy (R Johnson) his competition, Flutie was a me first player. I recall the infamous Music city Miracle game and the lead up to it, Fltuie sat there like a little baby pouting through the entire game, didnt do ANYTHING to help R Johnson n that game, nothing. Selfish little brat because he couldnt start.

Josh Allen Denver is the best so far

Thanks for the clarification but my main issue remains why do they players or for the matter want the NFLPA to get involved in a political/financial headache? So lets say the NFLPA trys to get the Pegula's to move from buffalo since they donjt have the revenue maximizing stadium, do the players want to insert themselves in that mess and end up being one of the "bad guys". Those are and should be owners decision imo, at one point do the players cease to be :"players" and start to be player/owners?

Terrible backswing, not much flexibility there ole tom.

Trying to create a issue where there is none. NFLPA and the players would be crazy to get involved, especially with any of their own $ on deciding stadium issues. Players want to go from team to team to get the best deals, why get locked into one city with a stadium issue. Let the owners and the municipalities deal with the funding of stadiums and all the associated headaches that accompany the process. And the issue of players wanting to prefer to live and work would not be good for high tax rust belt cold northern cities like Buffalo.

Isaiah Mckenzie working his tail off

In his partial defense, i believe a lot of the fumbles were with kick returns, maybe he should just be a receiver. -
Thanks for posting this. I dont think Allen is going to run nearly as much as he did last year, much of it was out of necessity. He SHOULD have a much better line and WRs, he should also be able to see his receivers better, notice coverage quicker etc. Allen's running ability is no secret anymore, i thin DCs are gong to actively game plan against his running better. What Allen might loss in running fantasy I think he can more than make up with better passing productivity. Beasley is going to be interesting in Buffalo. Allen has short yardage accuracy issues, wonder if he will improve on that this year with a dependable slot WR. Beasley might be a great tool or wasted asset here, Rodak is correct a lot is on Daboll.

Mark Rypien Facing Domestic Violence Charge
RoyBatty is alive replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, the ones that killed the Bills hopes in that game were the refs, the ridiculous mugging our WRs took with no penalties, if you let them play with no consequences how can you blames them to keep doing it, so much so Andre Reed finally lost it, never saw him every do that before in his career. -
Jordan Phillips and the D-line

Yeah i was thinking that but with Brady running the offense in real time he can direct the flow away from our one great (hopefully) penetrator oliver or "let him penetrate then run right through the gap. -

Speaking o D Lines, what i have been fearful of with our small D Line is the Pats running there bigs against us, Oliver is not going to help in the run department, not sure where we got any better against the run, And the Pats get their ist rd Tackle from last year that was hurt plus they added a 3rd RB and OC/G and a 4th rd T. Brady wil barely have to pass to beat us.
