Matt Milano and Surgeries in the NFL
RoyBatty is alive replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess you cant or wont give an opinion on how severe Milano's is since you dont have access to any more data than we have. Wonder what the status of Alex Smith an his leg situation are. -

You are full of BS, i read the entire link http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/25851800/dee-ford-credits-kansas-city-chiefs-coach-andy-reid-helping-process-offside-penalty-afc-championship-game all the way down to the next story re ADam Vinateria so your little diatribe and sanctimonious self-righteous lecture is wrong. No mention of fake quotes. -
Dee Ford Discusses Offside Penalty and Perspective

I clicked the link and read the entire thing and still find it bizarre. I was amazed how he didnt call a timeout during that entire sequence, look at the last play, the Chiefs some of them just stood there and he doesn't call a timeout because that is jus what he does in the playoffs? Weird. Yes i understand he is trying to make Ford fell better but you spend all that time and energy all season and you dont call a timeout for the last drive of the season (if they score and did easily at the end). ANd what does this mean, "you're never going to win another playoff game with me as HC" What? Why in the hell is a HC saying something like that, way to inspire a player. -

Buffalo actually made a good list

This will never, ever happen, no way no how not even with a $1 billion stadium. There inst the infrastructure to host a super bowl, not enough hotel rooms, restaurant, bars, not even a big enough airport. -

The GAME when you knew the Bills HC wasn't the guy!
RoyBatty is alive replied to PUNT750's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
2015 After the Kansas City debacle, i had zero confidence in Rex Ryan, it was one of the most embarrassing displays ever by a seasoned HC in the NFL. He blatantly missed 2 opportunities to challenge obviously wrong calls and didnt, he then panicked and called two he should have. Then at the press conference, he admitted he didn't know how the instant replay system worked, after being a HC in the NFL for 6 years! I was 95% done with Rex after the Jacksonville debacle in London. If you recall, the Bills were constantly late substituting players on defense. One one of their TDs we had 10 men on the field and they threw it to a totally uncovered WR for a TD. Classic Rex. -
Top 9 players in the draft.

Correct. A lot of chatter this is a weak QB class but teams have learned if you dont have your franchise QB you have to reach, I think Haskins, Lock, the Duke QB, maybe even Murray one or tow of these guys could be picked ahead of us. I also wouldn't be shocked to ses the Pats try and move up and go for the Duke Qb. -

I think there is a high probability, as happens every year, a team or two is going to reach for a QB, going ahead of us. -
Nothing more depressing than watching a formerly great athlete getting jettisoned from the team his was on for years only to go "back home" and be a shell of the player he was. Think OJ Simpson in San Fran. Besides he wil always be a Patriot, has the IQ of a fence post, his hit on Tre, and he wil be constantly injured.

Yeah he can be "schemed" around, in other words wont get any pressure or tackles as the Pats did in the last game but that scheming comes at a cost, he on average probably takes 1 1/2 lineman per snap. He many not be worth the money but it is not as dire as some make it out
