  1. I thought Alex Van Pelt was a joke as an OC for the Bills. Wasnt it his brilliant idea to do the hurry up with Trent Edwards, because after all it worked 20 years earlier for the Bills and Edwards was "smart" becuase he went to Standford and bill Walsh said nice things about him, so he could easily excute it. Unfortunately we had a huge offesnive line, overpaid for Derrick Dockery and monstrous 366 lb Langston Walker that was too big to do a hurry up and we cut him. Also during the season he was spotted at the Casino several times when other OCs are working 18 hour days and sleeping in their offices. By the way, Alex sure could get to the gym and lay off the bread. looks like the pillsbury dough boy about to pop.
  2. "I am getting to hate the greed of the NFL not only the outrageous contracts to the players but the mega rich " Well it is a business and greed will always be part of the equation. NFL cant "force" the Pegulas to move and/or build a new stadium. Besides The Bills mini-move to Toronto was pretty much a disaster and I would think was evidence enough for the NFL it wasn't going to be a home run there. Then again, that was the same collective brain trust that put two teams in the LA market and the Chargers fan base is a joke so one never knows.
  3. As i posted a few back certainly Eric Wood would know what his reall assigment so no doubt he proabaly called what PFF does garbage because he knows what he was supposed to to, PFF has to make an educated guess as would any indenepent raNking system...or any random fan here at TBD. Actually i find PFF enterntaining and certain of highe r credibility than 95% of the homer comments here. I for one dont get all worked up in a fr=enzy because like so many because they might rank a Bil below their expectations.
  4. Gee a little testy here, 1) It doesnt matter what his intention was, he is damn lucky Knox had to jump at it to know it out of bounds, any non-biased person would label it a fumble but if it makes you fel better to label a attempted lateral, go for it. 2) It was comical, he holds the ball like a loaf of bread and that is what happend on that play, call it a textbook strip if you want. Point being Allen does have a serious fumbling issue, you can either accept it our rationalize each one away, 16 fumbles during the regular season, 16 my friend. Oh I agree, as i posted a few back certainly Eric Wood would know what his reall assigment so no doubt he proabaly called what PFF does garbage because he knows what he was supposed to to, PFF has to make an educated guess as would any indenepent ramking system...or any random fan here at TBD. 3 points hmm, didnt we go into overtime, were we not a r oll, could have put the game out of reach.
  5. Who ever said footbal was rocket science, not me. Arbitraty grades by any external system will be flawed as it is close to impossible to know what players real assignemnt was, eg did he run the correct route, was he assigned a specific gap, did he block the wrong person, was it supposed to be abcak should pass, was it supposed to go over his left not right shoulder etc etc bu overall i would prefer a bunch of "20-somethings watching All-22 video" as opposed to the highly biased "experts" (or at least 95% of them) here at TBD.
  6. Because everyone here thinks they are smarter and have better data than professionals who do it for a lving. Also the fact that Bills aren't always rated far above average if not near the top is another reason.
  7. Maybe the reason Knox never caught a TD in college was because thy didnt trust him, not just because they had great WRs. Can we mark it up to being a rookie? Maybe nervous about taking NFL hits? Hope so. Hard to believe our drop % was actually higher this tyear with ostebnsibly better WRs and TEs. How much $ and draft capital did we spend on TEs last season, a lot. His fumbling was borderline comical last year. In the playoff game he very easily could have had three fumbles. One he did lose (which arguably changed the outcome of the game, changed the momentum), one knocked out of bounds by Knox and one that was luckily overturned.
  8. I forgot about that, when it happened i was really perplexed, i wrote it off as some kind of paymen for being a "team leader".
  9. Well i dont know about Obama but Biden is as dirty as you can get. If that was the Trump Family this impeachment would be for real and the Senate would do the right thing and convict him. How anyone can defend Biden is absolutely mind boggling to me. We have to be able to do better than to have a thieving functional idiot as a leading contender for his parties nomination. Good point and it exemplifes how spinelss most Republicans really are, and how corrupt, both side of the political spectrum are dominated by people taking adavange of the system. The Republicans know a good gig when they see it, tell the voters you are a real "conservative" and then fall right in line after elction.
  10. Parts of the Clinton impeachment was must see TV when they got to the salicious parts, cigar in the oval offie, the blue stained dress.
  11. Good god, the replaced one genre of utter crap, soap opeeras, for another, impeachment. yenta, love it, heard the word often never looked up the real defintion, now in my vocubulary, thanks.
  12. 11 million pretty pitiful Wonder what the number were like for Clinton with a much smaller population. of the 11 milion, I wil bet 10 million are die hard in one camp or the other....., the other 1 million are brain dead anyway that watch soap operas, entertainment tonight and believe wrestling is for real.
  13. Well maybe i am wrong, i have heard NO ONE outside of the media & TBD discuss this....in other words real people. From what i read in this thread sure as hell no one has changed/his/her mind. I would like to see the TV ratings
  14. This impeachment is nothing more than political Kabuki Theater. Both sides playing to their base and their respective bases will only hear what they want to hear. This is like debating abortion, this entire charade will change very, very few minds.
  15. WTH do polls numbers have to do with inmpeachment, is this Trump's trial or a long winded political commercial. I must pride myelf, i have seen zero of this political charade.
  16. Typical group of slimeball politicians that some people actually look up to? Kamala is whack job, often looks/acts like she has been smoking reefer, Hillary a shrewd old shrew, give her credit she developed the greatest political money laudnering machine in history under the guise of being chairtable, lol, and Mitt the sore loser romney. When he was running for president he didnt even have the balls to stand up to some of the absurd allegations againt him but suddenly grew a set against Trump after dissed him, Romney now sucks up to the same Media that was trashing him when he ran for President, same thing with McCain.
  17. why are you sending this to me? So a tweet from Kamala allegedly quoting Trump in a highly parsed fashion without context is good enough for impeachment, you run with that. I dont really care about these political gransdtanding theatrics.
  18. When is this political soap opera suppose to be over? At least Biden can continue to make gaffees on the campagin trail as some of his competition is stuck in the Senate trying to stay awake.
  19. IMO cant go by one election, especially the Clinton-Trump, Democrats assumed they would win easily, the deomcratic turnout overall was weak compared to the avid Trump supporters.
  20. Over time some cities have had over 100% voter turnout, do the research, and that is BEFORE the incredibly added incentive to boost the votes by employing the total popular vote. You eliminate the electoral college the incentive to cheat goes up exponentially. Just wait til you see the voter turnout in NYC, LA, San Fran, Chicago, Detroit. They wil magically all be in the 90% if not over 100%.
  21. You are either so patrisan you advocate that or, much mose likely, you have zero concept of why the found fathers put in the framework of the electoral college. Let me put it to you in simple, real world terms even you can understand. When cities have 100% voter turnout, even 90%, you know the system is flawed. You dont get 1oo% "voter turnout" oustide of cities. If we were to use simple majority vote all the major, mostly deomcratic scities would have strangely, almost magically high voter turnout and elect the president. The elctoral college as also a compromise between of the President by a vote in Congress and election by popular vote. It was established to give each state a role in the election. Without it New York, California and Illinois would pretty much elect every president of their choice.
  22. Wait a second, is this actually a topic, a debate here, you have to prove Tiberius is an idiot? LOL You people have way to much time on your hands.
  23. LOL mind numbing torutue, i can only imagine.
  24. So what? He speaks his mind, i wish more politicians would. I wish he woulnt be so blunt but it isnt something i lose sleep over, get over it. Are people actually spendijng their valuable time watching this utter crap, poltical drama theater, placate to each side, and it has to be as boring as all hell.
