2 important games vs Dolphins in a row
RoyBatty is alive replied to Artem Lipatov's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am not at all impressed with Tua, he has had a lot of luck and team help but it is hard to argue with his success. 7 TDs, no ints, 63% completion. Either Flores and/or Gailey deserves lot of credit keeping him out of trouble. I grow tired of hearing about how great belichek is against rookie QBs, i hope Billie has something special for Tua. -

2 important games vs Dolphins in a row

Hope you are right but I doubt it. Sadly the Dolphins are well coached and playing well, and they have proven either Tua or Fitzpatrick can win. Dolphins are one of the hottest teams in the NFL. I think the Miami -New England game is the key, either way we will "win". If the Dolphins win they effectively eliminate the Patriots and we get them the next week. Pats win really hurts Miami AFC east crown hopes. I just hope Tua plays against the PAtriots. I want to see what Belichek will scheme up to go against the rookie. Tua is bound to have a total disaster rookie game and that might be it. Tua has yet to throw an int which is hard to believe, our good buddy Belichek might change that. -
Lee Smith was WIDE open on Allen's dart to Davis

I dont care if they were the first overall defense going into the game plays like that one with no one covering a tight end are inexcusable in the NFL. I certainly hope whoever tries to hire Saleh as a possible HC will watch that Bills game film. -

This underscores how bad the 49ers defense really was. Allen had a few thread the needle throws but many receivers were wide open, their secondary must suck and as the aged Sherman admitted Josh extended plays and the 49ers just couldn't maintain coverage that long. I got real tired of hearing what an offensive genius Shanahan was on offense and Saleh was on defense, their defense was a joke. -
Problems with short yardage runs

I didnt say or intimate one game makes a trend or issue for a year. As for the poster and our inability to get first downs bring that up with him/her, not me. -
End of the Carson Wentz Era
RoyBatty is alive replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Wentz would love to have the team and career path Josh has had. Wentz came in with a bang whereas Allen has improved each year. Wentz a second draft pick and on a winning SB teams his second year, that is world of expectations. Allen was hotly contested with his now infamous accuracy issues. The Eagles situation is borderline fire, HC now in jeopardy, way over the salary cap, many injuries. -

No I dont think poster is confused with last year, I think the poster is reflecting on the San Fran game and I would agree with him/her. -

Yes that was the one great flaw offensively last night. I formerly thought J Allen on short yardage QB sneaks was borderline unstoppable...wasnt the case last night. Granted San Fran line is very good. I saw Morse get beat several times yesterday. -
interesting if he is on the field with Klein. See how many snaps he has.

Denver Bronco's seem to be the real deal

Any team in the NFL, even the Jets can have "one good game but still lose" -
Then why even read the Buffalo News, just come to TBD for non-nonsensical emotional fan takes, I dont need the Buffalo News to ferret them out for me. One micro-example of how newspapers becoming increasingly irrelevant. Exactly. Bill fans used to love to whine and complain about all the Patriot prime time games and what an alleged advantage it was. And now that we have them,. on cue, people are complaining.

Josh Allen on Pat Mcafee show at 1225.

Interesting. Allen didn't use his hips as much in the throwing motion when he first came to the Bills. And no he has and not only has his accuracy improved BUT his MPH on the ball has increased...this is after starting out with one of the strongest arms out there. -
AJ Klein named AFC Defensive Player of the Week
RoyBatty is alive replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bosa is there to attack the passer and get in the backfield which he did in speculator fashion, I am not going to lay the "blame" for our running success on a Defensive end. I also cant blame him for some idiotic decisions the Chargers had late in the game. Yes his team lost but It was like Otis Anderson winning the SB MVP in in 1991 when clearly Thurman Thomas had a far superior game. Re name the awards then, have SB MVP for the winning team and Player of the week for the winning team. -

I was thinking that same thing, happy for AJ but Bosa deserved it, we couldn't stop him.
