  1. Yes the would be about the worst loss during the McDermott era. Had they lost to the Jets, that would have been the "leader". Patriots are reeling, we have a lead on them, now is OUR time to take control.
  2. I watched the moronic segment :"Mossed up" with Randy Moss and Bruschi. To me it was embarrassing to watch how over-reacting they both were. I wonder who thinks "mossed up" is cool? 15 year olds?
  3. If the NFL was serious about controlling this they need top suspend Bostic for the next game an it appear, as per usual, they will wimp out and not suspend him.
  4. We really did have a lot of drive killing penalties. I wonder if the Bills coaching staff didnt respect the Jets, especially in that second half when Darnold was useless. You have agreat point, we didnt NEED to score TDs but yes it would have been nice.
  5. Good points and i have zero animus toward Darnold but maybe his time with Gase and the jets will ruin him. God knows the Bills have ruined their fair share of QBs. I wont lose any sleep if Danold flops, he can join Josh Rosen. I am a tad upset Mayfield he a great game yesterday. Great to think after all the Allen bashing we got that best of the top 4. L Jackson is another long story.
  6. Shrager is not half as bad as Ted Bruschi is. I suffered through part of his pre-game and he blamed the Pats laughable loss to the Broncos because they only had 3 practices and Belichek hates uncertainty and doesnt take anything to chance. But hey, i guess the other 31 NFL HCs love uncertainty and take it all to chance. I would love to hear Bruschi excuse the that embarrassment of a Patriot display versus San Fran yesterday. Cam looks real bad, the early season magic has run dry.
  7. Actually that is a good point. At his stage if you are Dallas it will be years for them to fix that team. You have expensive superstars, a terrible O Line, a superstar RB that fumbles too much, a severely injure unsigned QB, and possibly the worst defnece in the NFL.
  8. Yeah and I trust everything Jones says, owners would never lie, especially about the future of marque players after horrific injuries. . He has been jerking around Dak for far too long already.
  9. Really Dallas has a long term commitment to Dak? Funny i missed the contract extension announcement. Sorry, say what you want but Dak is potentially damaged goods.
  10. Look I for one am not debating the merits of Darnold versus Allen, I am a big Allen fan. The point of topic was Darnold given the same opportunity as Allen I stand by my belief he was not, Darnold was almost set up for failure, certainly this year. Allen is set up for success. And no i didnt include rushing yards, i also didnt include fumbles which is a real problem for Allen. I included TDs and Ints so people could see the raw numbers, fine go ahead and use TD/INT ratio. Allen had more ints than TDs, Darnolds had more TDs than INTs.
  11. I agree, that game was pretty ugly until it ended. Also Edmunds has a lot of work to do. And it wasnt only the rookie Espenesa that played well. I thought Dane Jackson for a rookie CB played a great game. As for No TDs, that one nice passes Allen threw that was called back for an "illegal formation was ticky tack borderline bogus. Then he threw another TD pass they didnt give him I think the Bills should have had a TD that drive for sure. A TD there and that game then doesn't look or feel nearly as ugly as it did.
  12. Can't help where you are born. Born and raised in Orchard Park.
  13. Yep, it would be the classic Patriot way, trade away the ageing superstar before they decline, get the max value.
  14. It certainly would be interesting to see, could be epic. I assume Belichek with his creativity to manufacture ways to loss without being totally obvious.
  15. I dont know, go look them up and per game stats dont matter except in yardage so take that out. The % completion, td/int ratio and quarterback rating arent impacted.
  16. I think we all "know" where the jets will be sitting; maybe that is why the dont fire Gase or Gregg Williams.
  17. Oh I see, it is the variant of the worst take because I disagree with you, Yep, got it. "Allen has been better than Darnold well before he got Diggs, etc". Really? LOL Lets compare rookie years, before Allen get his team to help with competent receivers in Brown, Diggs and Beasley.. J Allen 52.8 % 10 TDs 12 ints 67.9 rating, 2074 passing yards S Darnold 57.7%, 17 tdS 15 INTS 77.6 rating, 2,865 passing yards Sorry, you lose, not even close. And no Allen is not a suerpstar, at least not yet.
  18. The Darnold to Cowboys makes a lot of sense and yeah i think a 2 would do it. I assume Darnold isn't experienced enough or has the qualities you want to instill in Trevor Lawrence. Jets need Fitzpattick next year to mentor T Lawrence, that would be the ideal.
  19. I think if Josh Allen was drafted by the Jets you would think he is a bad QB and on a bad team. Look at what getting competent receivers has done for Allen, he has Beasely, Smoke and Diggs as compared to the crap he stared with. No QB I know can go run routs and catch his own footballs.
  20. Yeah he really had next to no shot in NYC, wonder how long or if he can ever regain his potential. It must be how players used to feel about getting traded/drafted by the Bills. Sure does seem nice for a change.
  21. Actually Broncos beat the Pats not scoring a TD.
  22. I am thrilled we selected Bass and sad to see Houschka decline BUT having said that, if the Bills had lost one one of those missed field goals at the end i think there would be a totally different "take" on his performance. No way we even try 53 yrd with Houschka. I for one think his play as a rookie has been great, esp coming from a smaller school. Probably a big benefit he doesnt have to deal with major crowd noise. I have to think he will be better next year.
  23. This mystique of the Pats and Bill fans is legendary. I agree it is a referendum, on McDermot as HC. If McDermott is a great coach this should be a win, hands down. It will be interesting to see what they threw at Allen, i assume a lot like the Chiefs. Just keep a high safety and take away long passes, force us to run and short passes. Meanwhile they are going to try and tun us to death.
  24. Ten years? What is this, the NFL of 1975? With all the Covid opt outs this year anyone that thought the Pats would be something special were giving Belichek way way too much credit. They return a lot of quality players next year. It is not a 10 yr rebuild for any team much less them. With all those opt outs if Belichek didn't have such a big ego he would have really blown the team up already top get Lawrence. Now they have no shot. And Newton looked like hot garbage yesterday , that magic has worn off.
  25. No crystal ball necessary, it is called being prepared which mean you remain flexible and can react which means you dont spend up close to the cap limit, now we have very limited flexibility. We all knew someone would opt out and/or get sick. You mean yet another ex-=Carolina Panther?
