  1. I dont know, go look them up and per game stats dont matter except in yardage so take that out. The % completion, td/int ratio and quarterback rating arent impacted.
  2. I think we all "know" where the jets will be sitting; maybe that is why the dont fire Gase or Gregg Williams.
  3. Oh I see, it is the variant of the worst take because I disagree with you, Yep, got it. "Allen has been better than Darnold well before he got Diggs, etc". Really? LOL Lets compare rookie years, before Allen get his team to help with competent receivers in Brown, Diggs and Beasley.. J Allen 52.8 % 10 TDs 12 ints 67.9 rating, 2074 passing yards S Darnold 57.7%, 17 tdS 15 INTS 77.6 rating, 2,865 passing yards Sorry, you lose, not even close. And no Allen is not a suerpstar, at least not yet.
  4. The Darnold to Cowboys makes a lot of sense and yeah i think a 2 would do it. I assume Darnold isn't experienced enough or has the qualities you want to instill in Trevor Lawrence. Jets need Fitzpattick next year to mentor T Lawrence, that would be the ideal.
  5. I think if Josh Allen was drafted by the Jets you would think he is a bad QB and on a bad team. Look at what getting competent receivers has done for Allen, he has Beasely, Smoke and Diggs as compared to the crap he stared with. No QB I know can go run routs and catch his own footballs.
  6. Yeah he really had next to no shot in NYC, wonder how long or if he can ever regain his potential. It must be how players used to feel about getting traded/drafted by the Bills. Sure does seem nice for a change.
  7. Actually Broncos beat the Pats not scoring a TD.
  8. I am thrilled we selected Bass and sad to see Houschka decline BUT having said that, if the Bills had lost one one of those missed field goals at the end i think there would be a totally different "take" on his performance. No way we even try 53 yrd with Houschka. I for one think his play as a rookie has been great, esp coming from a smaller school. Probably a big benefit he doesnt have to deal with major crowd noise. I have to think he will be better next year.
  9. This mystique of the Pats and Bill fans is legendary. I agree it is a referendum, on McDermot as HC. If McDermott is a great coach this should be a win, hands down. It will be interesting to see what they threw at Allen, i assume a lot like the Chiefs. Just keep a high safety and take away long passes, force us to run and short passes. Meanwhile they are going to try and tun us to death.
  10. Ten years? What is this, the NFL of 1975? With all the Covid opt outs this year anyone that thought the Pats would be something special were giving Belichek way way too much credit. They return a lot of quality players next year. It is not a 10 yr rebuild for any team much less them. With all those opt outs if Belichek didn't have such a big ego he would have really blown the team up already top get Lawrence. Now they have no shot. And Newton looked like hot garbage yesterday , that magic has worn off.
  11. No crystal ball necessary, it is called being prepared which mean you remain flexible and can react which means you dont spend up close to the cap limit, now we have very limited flexibility. We all knew someone would opt out and/or get sick. You mean yet another ex-=Carolina Panther?
  12. It is known as flexibility, flexibility to be able to react to whatever happens. I wrote, "this was a bad/risky year to spend so close to cap limits" and now we have highly limited flexibility. Amen!
  13. Assuming he comes back, wouldnt shock me at all if he retires and if Covid is still raging, being his size,, and the amount he has made, i certainly wouldnt blame him.
  14. Harrison Philips? Ehh he was much better last year, not the same post injury.
  15. Well with Covid coming up Beane et al should have been prepared for players opting out, this was a bad/risky year to spend so close to cap limits. Is that 20/20, yes but it is also very pragmatic.
  16. Do we really? Singletary was very good last year, and this year we actually have a NFL level passing attack. What we need is a better offensive line, especially by the guards.
  17. Star opted out in July, should have been adequately addressed back then. JMHO
  18. Wrong. Actually try reading my post before you spout off. " I dont want him for what it would cost us."
  19. Coaches & Beane deserve the blame on this one big time. He was small to begin with, too small to play 1-tech consistently.
  20. He was particularly obnoxious ;listening to him lecture on and on during the Texans-Titans game. An he totally missed Vrabel's little trick of getting the clock stopped (without a timeout) with too many men on the field. Want to see a bad lineup, look at the first two games they have for Thanksgiving, Texans-Lions, Cowboys-Washington.
  21. LOL. ok, I guess we need to add that to about half the titles of threads because after all there is no speculation here. Again the question mark is there for a reason, some comprehend it, others apparently don't..
  22. 2--2 Of the 4, NYJ 95% win probability, Pats 50%, Seahawks 10% Cardinals 50% We are going to find out versus the Pats how good McDermott really is. We have the better teams, they mst likely have the better coaching/system. A very interesting match-up. Pats win suddenly they are back in the AFCE. That play was really really bad. Someone had to have missed a block
  23. Maybe you should read the title again. "JJ Watt Trade Block?" Do you realize there is a question mark there, do you know what that signifies?
  24. Unless your HC/GM is named Bill O'Brien...too bad he finally get his arse fired.
  25. As much as the Texans management is hated now, that hatred would double if the traded JJ W for Murohy and a 4th, heck i would love a trade like that.
