I think the Bills are an above average team right now. If the old adage is true, you are what your record say you are, how are we go to perceive the Bills after the play the Seahawks and Cardinals. If we go 0-2 then 6-4 sounds above average but now 6-2 is a very good/great team.. I would be thrilled if the Bills end up 11-5, i am thinking 11 wins is the real ceiling, our defense is terrible and every week Bills fans here always saying/hoping we will turn it around, time to get real.

Tua every pass attempt in case your interested

Anyone that says Tue looked impressive yesterday is delusional but I will say, his receivers did him NO favors. That Williams looked worse than Zay Jones. Yeah well watch the Dolphins, after testing Tua this year, dont end up with either Josh Field or Lawrence with the Houston picks. Going to be like Rosen in Arizona, I dont think Tua is the answer. Tua yes a rookie in his first start and his receivers were trash but he was not impressive at all,. He is very fortunate there were at least two balls that easily could have been ints. -
Miami is not winning the division

I would take Flores for McDermott...provided Flores & Beane are on the same page. I am a big Flores fan, i think what he did last year with the Phins was amazing with the last of talent he had, -

Bacarri Rambo is a good example and I agree, should be little more than a stopgap. I though Rambo might stick, he made more than a few splash plays plus he has a great name. -
Gameday Thread PreGame Week 8 Bills vs Patriots

A huge key to this game is Tremaine Edmunds, Belichek in the past has proven he can effectively neutralize him. If Edmunds hits the wrong gaps, jumps on misdirection etc it could be a very very long day of them pounding our brains out running. To me Edmunds and how he performs today is a key. -
Stephon Gilmore knee injury potential?
RoyBatty is alive replied to Seasons1992's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well if Gilmore is or isnt playing Belichek will let us think the opposite until he absolutely has to say. That means game time decision. Very mysterious (what a shock) "tweaked" his knee and had a "minor procedure".If the weather is really really bad he is more likely to sit, my conjecture. -

Week 8: Patriots at Bills

Wind gusting to 40 mph can effect the ball from the strongest of arms including Josh Allen. -
That play still bothers me, there was an entire wall of Patriots ready to block that punt. I blame our special teams coordinator and supposed special team ace Dimarco on that. There were simply too many attackers to properly block, the block wasn't even close. The play was destined for failure. Dimarco should have called a timeout or the ST coordinator, the play was doomed before the ball as snapped. And if no bill was "authorized" to call the blocking or a timeout again that falls on the ST coaching.

Bulletin Board Material.....one of the great hackneyed, overused football cliches. Only one used more often is "playing with a chip on his shoulder". After 20 years you still hear that about Brady and the draft. What a massive head case Brady must be to have to be motivated from a perceived slight 20 years ago. Is he really that big a head case? I guess winning super bowls, a dynamism supermodel wife and all the money he could ever spend isnt enough to placate his frail ego.

Bass really has been a great addition even with the occasional miss (rookie), he has not cost us a game so far and the Bills can have confidence on kickoffs and long field goals. I haven't noticed on Roberts but will going forward. One thing this team does not have is a great deal of speed. I googled fastest Buffalo Bill player and came up with a list that had Andre Roberts as the third fastest 40 time but that time was years ago as was Taiwan Jones.. Roberts was the third fastest behind Taiwan Jones and John Brown, I didnt realize Taiwan Jones is still on the team. Our starting running backs might be the slowest RB group in the NFL.

Makes sense. Same news we heard last year when Brady's house was for sale. -
Buffalo playoff probability....

i already said i would take the Dolphins and the over on 6 wins and no I have no love affair with the Dolphins but if that makes you feel better to denigrate me so be it. -
Edelman not playing is not some big advantage for the Bills, he is a shell of what he was, esp with Cam at QB. In his last 4 games Edleman has accumulated a whopping 79 yards.
-
Edelamn 2020 stats, 315 yards, 0 TDs. And 179 of those yards came against the secondary sieve of Seattle.

Hot Take - Don’t pay Qbs

I am not saying they were correct but the Bills absolutely tried to get a "real" quarterback in here. Why they moved up for JP Losman and why they landed Drew Bledsoe.
