Problems with short yardage runs
RoyBatty is alive replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didnt say or intimate one game makes a trend or issue for a year. As for the poster and our inability to get first downs bring that up with him/her, not me. -
End of the Carson Wentz Era
RoyBatty is alive replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Wentz would love to have the team and career path Josh has had. Wentz came in with a bang whereas Allen has improved each year. Wentz a second draft pick and on a winning SB teams his second year, that is world of expectations. Allen was hotly contested with his now infamous accuracy issues. The Eagles situation is borderline fire, HC now in jeopardy, way over the salary cap, many injuries. -

No I dont think poster is confused with last year, I think the poster is reflecting on the San Fran game and I would agree with him/her. -
Problems with short yardage runs

Yes that was the one great flaw offensively last night. I formerly thought J Allen on short yardage QB sneaks was borderline unstoppable...wasnt the case last night. Granted San Fran line is very good. I saw Morse get beat several times yesterday. -
interesting if he is on the field with Klein. See how many snaps he has.

Denver Bronco's seem to be the real deal

Any team in the NFL, even the Jets can have "one good game but still lose" -
Then why even read the Buffalo News, just come to TBD for non-nonsensical emotional fan takes, I dont need the Buffalo News to ferret them out for me. One micro-example of how newspapers becoming increasingly irrelevant. Exactly. Bill fans used to love to whine and complain about all the Patriot prime time games and what an alleged advantage it was. And now that we have them,. on cue, people are complaining.

Browns=-Steelers are going to have huge playoff considerations to end the season. -
Josh Allen on Pat Mcafee show at 1225.

Interesting. Allen didn't use his hips as much in the throwing motion when he first came to the Bills. And no he has and not only has his accuracy improved BUT his MPH on the ball has increased...this is after starting out with one of the strongest arms out there. -
AJ Klein named AFC Defensive Player of the Week
RoyBatty is alive replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bosa is there to attack the passer and get in the backfield which he did in speculator fashion, I am not going to lay the "blame" for our running success on a Defensive end. I also cant blame him for some idiotic decisions the Chargers had late in the game. Yes his team lost but It was like Otis Anderson winning the SB MVP in in 1991 when clearly Thurman Thomas had a far superior game. Re name the awards then, have SB MVP for the winning team and Player of the week for the winning team. -

I was thinking that same thing, happy for AJ but Bosa deserved it, we couldn't stop him. -
Joey Bosa on Josh Allen
RoyBatty is alive replied to section122's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That is, imo, exactly how the refs overall have been not giving Cam Newton the calls in his career. A smaller, more effete QB is always going to get more of the benefit of the doubt on getting a flag thrown, matter of human nature. And there is some logic to it if calling penalties relates to safety as a legitimate concern. Who is more likely to get hurt with a rough tackle, Josh Allen or Russell Wilson? -
It should be the goal of the Players and Bills coaches to win the Super Bowl every year, nothing short of that. As a fan, I can have realistic expectations or whatever expectations I want. I would be thrilled just to get to the Super Bowl, that would make me happy. I still recall the glory days, hen sniveling non-Bill fans want to try and rib me about losing four in a row i look at them and try to explain how much incredible fun it was just to get there. I would take a Super Bowl right now in a heartbeat. One playoff in does little for me, Super Bowl of bust.

Joey Bosa on Josh Allen
RoyBatty is alive replied to section122's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I bet every defender this year has seen the clip of Josh Allen face masking that 6'5" 248 lb LA Ram. "No Huddle" is correct, Josh has earned his rep points. -
Joey Bosa on Josh Allen
RoyBatty is alive replied to section122's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am just glad some of his O Lineman took exception to it. What Bosa did wasn't bad and i can understand him saying "not today bud" the way Allen has embarrassed defenders over the past three years. I dont think Bosa was trying to hurt him.- 67 replies

I say let them get this game in. If Covid spirals out of control then at least every time has 11 games in. Then worst case scenario shut down regular season all games for the rest of the year, let the Covid runs its course and go right to the playoffs. Do i want this to happen, obviously no but not the end of the world of the 2020 NFL.

What is a successful season for the 2020 Bills?
RoyBatty is alive replied to BITE ME's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea you aint kidding, especially with his predictions of a 6 win max for the Dolphins and they were no match for the Bills. Super Bowl..just to get there -
