Gilmore to Have Quad Surgery
RoyBatty is alive replied to Houston's #1 Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Some of you posters should chill a bit, talk about over-reacting and attacking other Bill fan posters. Where is the Holiday spirit and Joy over the 25 years end of AFCE Champ drought? The Bills are now favored by 7 in Foxborough. When was the last time we were favored by a TD up there? In the Jimbo days? I dont care if we blow them out or not, as long as it is obvious we are in control and will win and no one gets hurt. -
Gilmore to Have Quad Surgery

Is brown supposed to play this weekend? Realy amazing crops of WRs we have versus two years ago. 2018 Benjamin, Jones, Andre Holmes and Streater. Today Diggs, Beasley, Brown, Davis. -

Since Gilmore has written off the season I wish Belichek would. No playoffs, no winning season, no real future QB in Newton, see what you have in Stidham last two games and manage to lose out Bill, get a better shot at a real QB in the draft. -
Easy to sate that now, after a huge upset over the Bengals without a real quarterback. The Steelers were a heavy favorite yesterday. Three in a row is a real issue for them, self doubt has got to enter. Big Ben needs to retire and Tomlin is not the incredible coach peolpe have been pumping him up to be, close to the deification that Belichek has enjoyed. Lets see how Pittsburgh and the Patriots do next year

Fed Ex Air player of the Week
RoyBatty is alive replied to Warcodered's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought the same thing BUT it is the "Fed Ex Air" player of the week, admittedly a fairly worthless "award". -
Rodgers and Wilson are way too old. Wilson is 32 years old already. I wouldnt be mad either but i cam say, imo. there aint NO way KC trades for Mahomes, at least not this year. Give his contract and another bad NFL season (revenue wise) then Mahomes absurd contract comes into play. With some of their players KC is going to have to do a lot of cap re-adjustments.

John Brown designated to return from IR
RoyBatty is alive replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Davis was inconsistent in ONE game, last week. To label him as "inconsistent" on that basis is laughable...... a rookie who in his worst game caught a TD. And a healthy brown is important for this offense. Feel much better his Brown was near (not at near) 100% for this weekend and playing. -
Pegula & Players: SNOWBALL FIIIIIIIIIIIGHT
RoyBatty is alive replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I could definitely make snowballs out of that snow. Is it ideal for snowballs? No but it will work. -
Other teams will ALWAYS make monstrous QB draft mistakes. Look at Josh Rosen and Sam Darnold. Who knows Darnold could be with a real organization. The match with Allen with Buffalo was , from the draft day. Did we get lucky, take an educated well risked choice and did Beane gamble his credibility, absolutely, no doubt or shortage of Allen Haters.

Yep. NFL, for the matter almost ALL sports are losing market share, big time. Less kids are playing sports and kids are deluged for on demand media. Kids spend hours/day om video games which are getting more and more addictive with better graphics, sounds realism. Look at the exponential growth of Tik Tok. This move reeks of desperation imo. -

Jets forum...so low....
RoyBatty is alive replied to foreboding's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
that was some loudmouth football expert i head on the radio go on and on about, said watch Belichek start Stidham last two games of the year so it isnt obvious he is trying to screw the Jets. He said how would you like to be the Pats to face Josh Allen, Tua and Lawrence in your conference for the next 10 years. -
I think Bass in the 6th round was a real steal, I NEVER thought i would ever think that. He has transformed our kicking game. We dont have to punt when we are at the 35 anymore. He has incredible range and after he first few weak games he has been the model of consistency. Even his two missed PATS were debatable as they sailed clear over the posts.

I agree and I know is is asking a lot of a rookie kicker, but i wonder if he can kicker it very high and just in the field of play and force them to return it. Belichek when he has a good kicker often does this.
