  1. Relieved they didnt go for it on 4th, tried top get us to jump
  2. Time of Possession is a killer here, so much for tiring out the D Line.
  3. Beasley is money when we have to get 13 yards and a 3rd down, he gets 13.5. I dont think McKenzie is as nearly reliable.
  4. That and the officials which have, imo, followed the directive to call less penalties. Great post and I agree.
  5. They didnt look to jacked up the way they were dancing and goofing around today.
  6. I have been to a Bills game in Jerry World and I only have two comments. 1) Cowboy fans suck, there was very little noise and that was a Dez Bryant year when they rolled us for 40 something points. 2) The Stadium is SO large and vacuous, it is very hard to generate a lot of noise regardless.
  7. I think it helped him because he was able to shout out directions/ blocking assignments easier. His rapport with Diggs is extraordinary in one year and I think him being able to communicate easier with him helped build rapport quicker. I would also say the lack of crowd noise let him focus and also didnt get him so excited as before. He was under control pretty much through the entire year. By next year a 4 yr guy he will be more a master of communication with his receivers and more in control of his emotions so he can use the excitement from the crowd to feed off of.
  8. TV?? He would be unwatchable on TV. No one wants to hear him drone on and on and say nothing.
  9. Np idea. Patricia Allen Stadium. Barstool is probably a decent bet.
  10. No. Allen is simply a perfect fit for WNY and Bills Mafia. After Bills fans donating to Oshei Hospital and J Allen's acknowledgement of it, I ding Allen borderline untradable from the Bills.
  11. I think a lot of players "learned" about the I was passed on the draft chip on shoulder routine from the constants whining (and subsequent praise) of Tom Brady.
  12. These are the playoffs, lose you are out, you dont roll the dice. I would dress Beasley if he is close and maybe dont start him. If it looks dicey put him in.
  13. I think his early struggles versus zone were somewhat "solved" as part of his natural evolution and a hard worker/student of the game thru the year
  14. Jemarcus Russell was a good example BUT was very slow, he 40 time was 5.2. Beyond his intellect, substance abuse habits and work ethic that is a huge difference. I think Josh Allen got out of High School with a 4.0 FWIW.
  15. Great, many thanks. I guess it is always great when you hear good things about Josh Allen and the Bills.
  16. You mean Buffalo? Yes I wouldnt object. I think at this point J Allen has progressed beyond the need for Fitz to mentor him. Lets see what Allen does in the playoffs.
  17. IS that what you want out of the #5 pick in the draft, a "decent NFL starter" IF they play their cards right? I agree with that but they have to be real disappointed thus far and the amount of capital they spent on him should not enter the equation...just look at Arizona with josh Rosen had they not been willing to part with him. I think the Dolphins with the #3 pick should go QB or if not trade down and get even more draft picks. Honestly you and I have no idea. Miami is not going to blurt out this early what their real intentions are with the draft...no point in them throwing Tua under the bus at this point. Their QB experiment worked wonders this year, until Fitz got covid BUT how much does Fitz have left? He will be 39. For that matter does Fitz want to have to mentor Tua again for a year?
  18. He did but he was ALWAYS much more positive on Josh Allen...it is not as if he can dis his clientele.
  19. I think he has really blossomed this year, last year i was very dissapointed. Look no further than the blocked punt that cost us the Pats game last year and the fake punt this year. I think he learned to teach the ST to call an audible if the blocking leaves an uncovered gunner and for a fake unlike last year that block was inevitable the way the Pats lined up, they could have audibled out of that last year. I would love to know if the Bills on ST did an audible to go for that fake this year.
  20. I would like to see this poll before the Book 'The Blind Side" came out.
  21. Dynamic roster with a tremendous amount of moving parts. Putting together this current depth chart wouldn't be easy with all the backups that played and even our RB cam up from the practice squad. Like Reich and company piece together their own bills depth chart for as long as we can within the rules.
  22. Our "nose tackle" back then Jeff Wright was 274 pounds, can you imagine a starting NFL NT on a super Bowl teams today weighing 274 pounds? I looked at the '92 roster, only 4 guys over 300?.
