I understand it isnt about money, it is supposedly about honor if you win or humiliation if you lose. If they really dont care at all about the consequences then there was no purpose to the bet, beyond the publicity of us babbling about it....what now 17 pages long thread..

Again assuming this wasnt all a PR stunt, I dont know about you but I dont enter bets if I have a 50% chance of losing but only a 25% chance of winning.

I think the Chargers have the inside track on Dabol. Dabol went to St Francis with their GM Tom Telesco. He also has a bone fide future franchise QB that has one year under his belt and is "proven". Dabol also has the Patriot non-sense with the Texans and their GM and Esterby so Dabol has two "ins" on his candidacy. I think Dabol is gone unless as the HC jobs are full and he decides he would be happy at Bills OC.

I was incredibly underwhelmed with the 49ers defensive game plan versus the Bills. I didn't see any "genius" at all. Sure i hope he goes to the Jets.

Cowherd was a fool to accept the bet, (assuming it all just wasnt for obvious hype). For Cowherd to win, the Bills have to win 2 games, straight up odds of that are 25%............ whereas that blowhard Wright only has the Bills lose one game, or 50%. I agree 100%. I also hope J Allen never addresses this arseclown, he gets way too much attention from the Bills mafia for his contrived hate of J Allen.. I would hope Allen listens to that last Cole Beasely interview which was fantastic. Beasley said the best thing he did was stop monitoring the social media.

Help me on this bet. Was the bet if the Bills lose first playoff then Cowherd gets the ketchup/mustard. For Nick Wright to lose the Bills have to win two playoff games, is that correct. So right now if I cam right as above, Cowherd cant lose but Wright could still lose if Bills win vs Ravens. If the Ravens win then the bet is a wash. C

I would agree. For Flores it worked out, at least he knows now Tua will never be a superstar QB so they can draft Josh fields or whoever best QB is at 3 if they so want. I think that is one of the most interesting decisions coming up in this draft.

I will admit John has a great central point we seem to be glossing over in the joy of the victory. We can expect Josh to keep bailing us out after all, we all or many have been preaching to him about not doing hero ball. We were, imo , manhandled on both offensive and defensive lines. It was frustrating to see the lack of pass rush on Rivers and no dont tell me he has a quick release.

If we have a lot of missed tackles versus the ravens, esp on Lamar, we are going to lose.

Traded away the best receiver in the NFL for a washed up RB. Wasting one of the great careers in Deshaun Watson who now wants to leave. Wasted number one pick in Clowney, Have squandered their future giving away top draft picks. Have a dysfunctional assistant GM in Jack Esterby. Failed to get their GM in time to interview Eric Bienemy who is now locked up until KC loses. Have no HC. Wasted JJ Watt who is nearing the end. What they did and where they are headed are two radically different directions.

I think the worst call was a pass vs the Rams Allen threw to a tight end and the defender after the ball was secured grabbed for it, a mutual possession but by rule the offense always wins. How they got the call is beyond me.

The Texans franchise is in utter chaos so right now, trading Watson is on the table. One of the Texans biggest fault has been to over-support "good god fearing" people and right now that is largely driven by Jack Esterby. Deshaun Watson wants out and I cant blame him. The Texans desperately need frat picks. I could see the brain dead Texans trading for Tua. Tua does two several for the Texans: 1) It provides PR cover for the organization which is desperately needed. 2) Texans need draft picks and the Dolphins have them. 3) Tua is by all accounts a great honest, god fearing person which the Texans and their ownership has always covetted.
