  1. Move Edmunds to OLB already. He has so much physical potential he would be a commanding trade bait if we so chose. Oliver needs a big stud DT to play by his side so he can utilize his speed better. He had his moments.
  2. Is this a shock? No not a tall. Just like last year versus the Texans in the playoffs on that 2nd half kickoff..., even IF it isnt explicitly spelled out in the rule books the NFL will make the decision they think is "more fair". I have no problem with last years decision on the kickoff and no problem with them reviewing a situation that was "not re-viewable" according to the rule book. In the playoffs they can concentrate and use more common sense as opposed to just relying on the rule book.
  3. 1) We are playing better competition. 2) The refs are reluctant to call penalties in the playoffs, so just like our Second Super Bowl versus the Redskins, pass defenders can play very, very physical with receivers and not get a penalty.
  4. Brian Winters is a goner..one piece we will not miss at all.
  5. Thanks Buffalo Bills. It was a GREAT SEASON!!!!
  6. Yes I would think they have to do something and something radical. I cant believe Belichek wants to try and roll the dice and hope and prays he can get and train a franchise QB from the draft. They have to be a front runner for Matt Stafford,
  7. Agreed and I also subscribed. He is going to have a lot of Bills fans signing up.
  8. I have read the very, let me describe it as "sketchy" reasons to hire McCown i think it is bizarre and typical of so many recent Texans missteps to make such a blunder. Frazier and/or Bienemey imo are infinitely better candidates than freakin totally unproven coach much less HC Josh McCown. Of course McCown is big into Fellowship of Christian Athletes which means he is a huge green light for the McNair "brain trust".
  9. I guess that makes sense. I think if you are going to reward one team that gets a minority assistant hired away as a HC then the team that actually hires the minority HC also deserves some draft consideration.
  10. I never understood that concept. So if Frazier goes to the Texans, do they get draft picks as well because they hired a minority HC? So if you get a minority HC you get nada but 2 picks if you have them as coordinators and someone poaches them, seems unbalanced to me.
  11. Problem is the Dolphins already have a ridiculous amount of draft capital so they could more easily could afford Watson, especially if Flores has any sense and realizes Tua is not the answer and trades Tua and picks for Watson. Tua has enough panache to ease the pain a but for for the Texans. Watson gets a team with a dynamic AA coaching a tax free state and live in Miami. To me Miami is the real danger.
  12. Is is pure speculation and it surfaced big time after Richard Sherman, who Saleh was coaching last year went to the Jets and apparently Sherman loves Saleh and recommended Watson go there..
  13. I agree with all you wrote except to definitely write Miami is not drafting a QB absent something weird is too strong. If I were the GM or HC, I would lobby for a QB early in the draft....hey have so much draft capital they miss on second pick in #1 round or either in their 2nd rounders, will that really matter that much?
  14. Yep but assuming they have done their work Josh has two attributes a lot (eg Rosen) dont. Native intelligence and intense desire to lead & improve. IMO had Josh not had those attributes, he would have remained the same inaccurate QB so many experts were laughing at. n I have no idea about Trey Lance's desire and/our intelligence.
  15. Naively, i thought it was more than a charade. When i heard the different levels of the protocol and heard Reid's comments this week i realized, yep this is pretty much a joke. A real honest "players"coach like McDermott would actually consider sitting J Allen if he had a serious concussion issue, not sure most if any other NFL head coaches would.
  16. LOl, yep Belichek and his ego is a real wild card. I think their QB situation is the worst in the AFCE unless he has been hiding Stidham which i doubt. Patriots almost have to draft one or trade for one, i cant imagine they go Newton and Stidham again. I could see Belichek going for an accurate pocket passer that isn't a "project", he is running out of time. Mac Jones, maybe with Belichek's genius, he can sneak him in rd 2....an accurate stable pocket passer, highly accurate and proven winner go to go.
  17. Shocker. Underscores the incredible fallacy of the entire concussion protocol.
  18. Unlike prior regimes in the past we are leaving very little to chance, at least factors we can't control. Odds of him kicking for the Bills in the next two weeks, probably 1 in 100.
  19. Yes i have to agree, i typically avoid the entire diversity discussion in this forum past but hiring that fat blob is absurd. Why? Because his brother was an alleged defensive guru there 15 years ago?
  20. Taron Johnson did a good job answering fairly obvious questions....what was going thorough your mind on the int, what are your thoughts on Bills mafia, when did you develop you inner dive. One thing i was happy to hear is he says he is not p;paying attention to social media this week.
  21. I could make an argument/present a realistic scenario that each of our AFCE competitors should be drafting a QB early this year. There is only one Trevor Lawrence but there is a handful with great potential (Fields, Trask, Lance, Wilson) that will be available after. Miami and New England also could both be in the D Watson sweepstakes with their draft capital. The Bills imo are the only team in the AFCE with a solid bona fide QB of the future. I wont be shocked if at year end next season all our AFCE competition have three new starting QBs. Miami has a wealth of draft capital. They pick 3rd in both the 1st and 2nd rounds as well as #18 in each round. Tua has been, imo, after his fortunate winning start has been underwhelming and the Bills really exposed him. Will they have Fitz back next year to continue to mentor him and bail him out? Lets see if they think they have seen enough and will take a cue from the Cardinals a few years ago and draft another QB high. New York Jets. Yes, Darnold suffered from woeful coaching on a poor team but he is now entering his fourth year. His QBR rating has slipped every year and his passer rating was his lowest ever last year at a dreadful 72.7. Jets can pick from all the remaining QBs assuming Lawrence goes at first. New England. Does Belichek really want to hope he can find and develop another young QB at his age? Doubt Stidham is the answer and will Cam be back? New England doesnt pick until 15. I tried to make a poll but but technical skills failed me. .
  22. Great for you Victor, after 5 months of Chemo you can and should celebrate!
  23. Too late for those considerations, Texans already have messed up the franchise in epic manner and record time.
