How Allen will Work to become a better QB
RoyBatty is alive replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1) Football Securityry, he fumbles way too much. 2) OP is correct, these 15-20 yards sacks will be fixed. 3) He has learned and has gotten better handing off. His straight arm no deceptive handoffs in college have largely disapeared but he has to learn/adapt to "selling" them better. -
Jason Witten has a new job.

Booger was entertaining and funny initially but his shtick got real old after a while. At this point i would rather listen to Troy Aikman whine on and on or Chris Collinsworth. -

Spotlight huh. He has had kids going there and as he said "“Faith. Family. Football. In this next chapter, it is important to me to be the best father and husband I can be" liberty is hardly a Texas High School powerhouse, i think he did it as a matter of faith. And as i already wrote i woulnt be shocked if he is doing it for free. -
So the "secret" of why Mahomes is Mahomes is that he is on the best team in the NFL and he is confident....imagine that.

Reunited with my 1970 football cards

Fantastic. You have some great ones there. classic old AFL superstars like Namath and OJ in his second year (too bad you dont have the rookie card, at one point it was worth a stupid amount of money). -
The peril of ignoring analytics

" the “strategy” of controlling the clock via run game etc so as to keep a great QB on the sidelines is a losing strategy. Not a shred of evidence that it ever works" Super Bowl 25. End of thread -
They are likely headed there and most cognizant fans realize it. Texans have always enjoyed a massive loud home field advantage, after the past year i think a LOT of that is gone. And they now going to compete against Trevor Lawrence for the next decade. They have good coahes they have to compete against, Reich, Vrable and Urban Meyer. The Marrone weak link is finally gone. The days of them slopping into a weak AFC South title are likely gone for a long, long time. I cant turn on any sorts radio in houston without non-stop Texans complaining...in a very schadenfruende manner I enjoy that.

You have already said multiple times Allen is better, i get it....you have already said it was a fact so why do you keep harping about it? If it is a FACT and isnt debakle why do you keep debating it? No Fuller was suspended, he wasnt hurt this year because he was taking PEDs so he wouldnt get hurt. He could never complete a year with the Texans but think otherwise. You think the Texans are as good as the Bills excluding the QBs that is your call.
-
Because he didnt finish the season and he has never finished a season. He is chronically hurt, that is why he was left out. Cant even begin to compare the Texans team to the Bills, not even close. Yep that PROVES your point. You are stating an opinion as fact , i would elaborate but not interested in getting an infraction from a mod, not today maybe another day.

It has already gone way, way beyond that stage,,,the absolute majority of Texans fans are downright disgusted with the team. This bizarre McNair-Easterby relationship has everyone and the Team upset. If you ever think the Bill fans were upset at Ralph and/or the Bills front office, magnify by 10X and you have the current state of affairs in Houston.

LOL. I love the use of highly selected facts and then the need to declare yourself victorious. "Don't even try and argue with this. Accept it as fact, because it is so, and move on. What a bombastic arrogant statement. Did you even read or comprehend what I wrote? There is a difference between the two teams. You never answered my question, what would Watson numbers look like is he had Diggs and Beasley and Allen had Kekee Coutee and Brandin Cooks. Oh and speaking of FACTS, somehow you forgot these stats Watson : pass yard 4,823 Quarterback Rating 112.4 Int 7 Rushing : 444 yard Fumbles 8 Allen: pass yards 4,544 Quarterback Rating 107.2 Int 10 Rushing 421 Fumbles 9

Yes I agree 100%, sounds a lot like Allen but with Allen when he takes a sack, wow he can really take a sack...and Allen fumbles way too much. Reality is Allen and Watson both have the same affliction, they try to do hero ball too often, Allen really matured on that this year. Watson attempts too hard to keep plays alive, just like Allen, sometimes they "get away with it" (recall that killer play last season with Watson escaping Siran Neal and Milano from a sack and threw a pass to none other than Taiwn Jones for 34 yards and game winning fg.
