I have always said that. Tua is a man of faith (big plus for the brain dead Texan ownership) and provides "some cover" for the fans as he supposedly has great potential although I think he wil be a mediocre quarterback at best. Miami has plenty of draft capital (ironically thanks top the Texans), Watson gets to go to tax free Florida and play for an upcoming AA HC. Everybody wins in an otherwise terrible situation for the Texans. Watson can force a trade...there wil be a long, long off season and the Texans will cave, write that down and say Roy Batty said so.

Oh i agree, the reliance on Allen is what doomed us. We wisely game-planned several teams this year if we take away either the run or pass (more complicated than that but effectively yes) we can win. The Bills must be a DC dream to scheme against. -

I think he is there in the 1st, 2nd seems like a huge gamble. And no I am not sold on drafting a RB high, unless you are a real wonder most often they are overdrafted. Even if we get a stud RB doesnt solve the issue, if have to work on our interior O line. If there is a stud guard or on Defense a stud DT or DE i would go there in Rd 1 -

He will be there for the Bills if they want him imo. -
I agree and contend they need to draft a QB, they have all the draft capital they need. Flores is no fool, even nothing else we exposed Tua when he didnt have old man Fitzpatrick to bail him out. Either that or Trade Tua to Houston and some picks for D Watson, that would be our worst case scenario imo.

1) The lost in the AFC Championship game in a loud stadium in KC against the world champs. End thread Seriusoly 1) Actually our lines on both sides of the ball were periodically abused. 2) We had no run game largely owing to #1 above. The screwy calendar with Covid non-sames didnt help us either. It happened to us before, recall the Rams game, second half we couldn't stop A Donald, we were lucky to come out with a win.

How does Josh work on his nerves...?
RoyBatty is alive replied to Adamb412's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually I am very calm, why are you resorting to that tactic trying to denigrate me? And i am not going to waste my time arguing with you about if Brady can look nervous in a game or comparing Brady vs Allen in a big game mentality.. And that is just the way it is. -

Why because it is exactly what will happen if Brady losses and you dont like the conclusions from this narrative? -
Bridging the gap from great to elite

Good analysis and not too emotional as many are today. I am not sold on Edmunds at MLB. Overall our trenches need a lot of work, esp on the interior. What we need is a big stud DT to play alongside Oliver. We also need to get a stud guard/center, we have been weak there all year. We cant continue on with no run game. I dont know why the regressing in Singletary this year...he never was a speedster game breaker, that is one position we might consider filling. -

Well I guess i am just silly and embarrassing myself. Hilarious, 24 hours ago people here were praising J Allen and talking about the future and now has has to work on his mental game. I just cant believe we have a QB that getting beat up in a playoff game actually had the nerve to look dejected. I cant believe our QB could have a bad game, really inexcusable. -

I have been defending J Allen in this thread but That is one thing i can agree on. That one pass to Singletary comes to mind, he seemed to be overthrowing some of his short passes. Is the man expected to be perfect every game? Every player has a bad game here or there...this was one of his bad games. I know its a bummer but it happens. -

Works hard on his mental game....lol. Yeah because as we all know Josh Allen is not a hard worker, nope not at all. If i wanted to hear this crap I would look up what Nick Wright is saying today. Yeah it is tough to lose a game, isn't it, deal with it. -

Context would be nice. Since you are now questioning his maturity, when did he looks so dejected that you are crying about? And that rah rah is crap when you are faking it....but of course you know that because body language is a big thing dude. -

Good lord give the man a break, it was by far his longest season EVER at any level, so he looked dejected sitting on the bench...gee I wonder why? -

Did I say I want him to be Trent Edwards? Look I know you are upset the Bills lost, so am I but venting on me isnt going to change the outcome. Deal with it, learn from it..just like Allen will do. Allen is not not Superman. He gets in trouble when he resorts to playing hero ball. You take what the defense gives you. For him to be our leading rusher again yesterday is the number one indictment of this team on offense. -

Did you see the coverage the Chiefs had, they were on receivers like glue. If Josh had one big fault just like in the first KC game he didnt take what they gave him...he needs to learn to check down...he has made incredible progress in this regard but still has a lot to learn. This experience will, like the Texans game last year, only make him a better QB. Experience at the position obvious;y means everything. -

Ah yes, the day after a big loss threads such as this are inevitable. I think his "nerves" are fine. He has made incredible progress, has obviously learned from his mistakes and wil work his arse off and come back and be a better player. Experience is NOT wasted on J Allen. Next playoff game I want to see him like Tom Brady throwing the ball in the dirt at the foot of a receiver instead of taking this comically bad and long snacks. J Allen has gotten a lot of the "superman" complex out of his system but the competitor in him still surfaces. -
Failure to adjust to playoff officiating
RoyBatty is alive replied to Captain Caveman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I as a casual fan have known about playoff officiating after the Bills loss to the Redskins in the Super Bowl, they were mugging us all night long and no flags...then Andre Reed losses his cool over it and HE gets the flag. If the Bills didnt know and/or take it into consideration playoff officiating it would be a major shock to me.
