  1. This thread should be renamed grow up and welcome to the real world. And yes I think growing up son of an NFL coach is a tremendous "natural" advantage.....your father can impart a lot of knowledge and wisdom on you. And if nothing else they see the rigour and hours it takes to be a successful coach. Being a coaches kid is not some utopia, fathers gone for hours if not days at a time, soemtimes it helps the kid get some discipline, some times it leads to incredible dysfunction. I wonder if he could do it all over again would Andy Reid have sacrificed effectively his family for his job? Talk about a shattered life he must have.
  2. Thanks, for the painfully obvious observation. Typical response to anyone having the "courage" making a prediction here. The podcast is there for a reason, entertainment and to attract listeners. Would you prefer he just had a banal, bland non-committal podcast?
  3. I immediately noticed the same thing...whatever happened to the "athletic freak", blah blah blah
  4. Assuming Watson is out of the Jet picture, I would take a 1st for Darnold in a heartbeat. They get Josh Fields and another 1st round pick, most importantly a new HC.
  5. I never said he didn't but he sure as heck never said this " we practically got nothing out of our TE position" .
  6. LOL, you mean the DT having an 80 yard pick six? I was at that game, perfect angle, it was like watching in slow motion, you could tell when the ball was in the air it was headed to the other end zone. I will never forget that play as much as I want to.
  7. The Bills have had a lot of "weird" seasons. You could take almost any year and point out the "weird" factors. Every game was "weird" when Rex was here one never knew what to expect from the "defensive genius", all the gaffes and mistakes the team made. How about 2017 the year he couldnt even finish without getting his bulbous arse fired.
  8. Even though I cam sick of hearing about him (being in Houston) and his need to for attention, He most likely wants out of the noise and non-=sense of the Texans so if we can get him cheap, yes. He might give is a good deal headed to a contender with the Bills. a championship one thing he doesnt have on his resume. I dont think he is along term answer obviously but good for a one year loaner.
  9. Yes probably the biggest mistake on personnel this year. The blunder leading up to Wyatt being traded was Quinton Spain, what a colossal bust for the Bills. Picked him up for three years and $15 million and in seven months he was cut. I thought we got Bates because he was versatile and could add some weight. I always wanted to see more of Bates. They need to decide if he is a guard or tackle and i think he actually had a few snaps at center.
  10. FWIW ESPN rated Epenesa as the second best DE in the draft following only Chase Young.
  11. No he did not, that is just want some fans wanted him to say.
  12. I saw the list. A lot of highly dubious rankings. The rate Tua as the second QB drafted with a score of 93 just behind Burrow at 94 but way behind is Justin Herbert at 89.
  13. You deserve recognition as the first poster (including the OP in the title) that actually spelled his name correctly.
  14. Maybe it is a reflection of how lame or RBS and TEs were in receiving the ball.
  15. 1) Football Securityry, he fumbles way too much. 2) OP is correct, these 15-20 yards sacks will be fixed. 3) He has learned and has gotten better handing off. His straight arm no deceptive handoffs in college have largely disapeared but he has to learn/adapt to "selling" them better.
  16. Booger was entertaining and funny initially but his shtick got real old after a while. At this point i would rather listen to Troy Aikman whine on and on or Chris Collinsworth.
  17. Spotlight huh. He has had kids going there and as he said "“Faith. Family. Football. In this next chapter, it is important to me to be the best father and husband I can be" liberty is hardly a Texas High School powerhouse, i think he did it as a matter of faith. And as i already wrote i woulnt be shocked if he is doing it for free.
  18. So the "secret" of why Mahomes is Mahomes is that he is on the best team in the NFL and he is confident....imagine that.
  19. doubt it, i wouldn't be shocked if he is doing it pro bono
  20. Fantastic. You have some great ones there. classic old AFL superstars like Namath and OJ in his second year (too bad you dont have the rookie card, at one point it was worth a stupid amount of money).
  21. " the “strategy” of controlling the clock via run game etc so as to keep a great QB on the sidelines is a losing strategy. Not a shred of evidence that it ever works" Super Bowl 25. End of thread
  22. That is hardly a universal thought down here amongst Texans fans. Most Texans fans might UNDERSTAND why he would want to get traded but very few want him to leave. There is a much greater percentage of Texans fans that want JJ Watt traded so he has a shot at a ring.
  23. Sure about that? The no-trade clause means Watson can veto ANY trade if he so chooses...so in other words, yes he can pick where he wants to go OR he cans sit out.
  24. Watt and players trying to fight with BOB is a wild exaggeration. And the Link came from Culleys opening remarks at his intro press conference.
