  1. Actually I have to give it to WGR callers for worst opinions.
  2. Thanks, great intel/opinion. I think we at least try to sign Daryl Williams if we can get a reasonable contract which given the salary cap hell of many teams I think it is possible. Webb/Fromm, interesting but I dont see it. Total inexperience at backup QB. Yes Webb has been around but his snaps in the NFL, actually for both of them, zero. Feliciano is all but done imo, no brainer and has already said he wants to come back. I sure hopes he plays better than he did versus the Chiefs. Drafting a RB for the third year in a row would be an admission of failure.
  3. I was not "disappointed" with the article, first and foremost i was impressed Hammers Lot got in the NYT. That is why I posted to begin with. If was, if anything, disappointed in the, to me obvious agenda the author took. Your quotes were very, I hate to say it, politically correct, well measured, thoughtful with a tinge of humor. I actually thought well done. Another lesson to me is you can not trust the "press" any more, they have an agenda they will run with it. Did you read it? What were your thoughts? When i used to be quoted by the media it was a different era, it wasnt all agenda or computer click driven.
  4. Maybe he is just lazy and didn't go to Oklahoma State on an academic scholarship.
  5. Pretty good, I would be ok with that, addresses most of your glaring needs. Another TE from Mississippi? Didnt we just try that? Hard to believe Najee Harris lasts almost til rd 3 but RB is certainly been de-emphasized lately.
  6. No. Yes written tongue and check this is a good post by OP. So he got on two Super Bowl winning teams. Do you think Shady was the driving force in those wins, or even materially contributed? Can we please stop with the bizarre love affair we have with certain ex-Bills, most notably Ryan Fitzpatrick..
  7. I didnt realize i had to be so preceise so let me re-phrase. I should have written "most Rbs are a dime a dozen" but as I said If I were the Bills i would jump through hoops to get McCaffrey for our pick #30.
  8. I wasnt referrring what Dell said or was quoted, i was talking about the article en toto. A lot on drinking and table smashing and vehement Bills fans but NOTHING at all about all the good Bills Mafia has done. I thought the article was slanted so as to be the most outrageous and no put give the Mafia a fair shake.
  9. Now how is some "genius" going to twist this around to infer that Allen might be traded?
  10. Speaking of tailgate lots, i forgot to mention that a few days before the Bills-Chiefs playoff game the sports section of the New York Times quoted Eric Matwijow, aka the Hammer of Hammer's Lot. Story talked a lot about the Bills mafia but i was disappointed not a mention of all the charitable giving that has happened...just mostly about drinking table smashing etc.
  11. Thanks, it was great meeting you, I still recall you were drinking some sort of red drink. One of my favorite pictures is Pinto Ron and myself, what an incredibly approachble man. I almost never ask a celeb (yes I will call him a celeb) for a photo but had no problem asking Pinto Ron.
  12. Best of luck Ron! It was great to meet you at the Texans-Bills playoff game.
  13. Sherman does nothing for the Bills, espceaily if the Bills get Watt, that is all the leadership on defense you need. Sherman was abused by the Bills this year, he looked his age, very slow. I would pass on him big time.
  14. Pick # 30 in the NFL draft isnt much "currency" and yes he has mileage and RBs are a dime a dozen but if I were the Bills i would jump through hoops to get McCaffery for our pick #30.
  15. Of course, Carolina Panthers-Bills stream. Never happen UNLESS we paid him a stupid amount of money (which we dont have) McCaffrey was so overwhelmed with the McDermott-Beane regime he wanted to come here which is very very unlikely. Such is the state of "journalism". Any outlandish rumor with a star players name attached if bound to keep clicks and numbnuts like us wasting time discussing it.
  16. People cant foresee what is happening. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE assumed the salary cap would go up no matter what year after year, gee guess what happened? Who knows, maybe some entity, Amazon, wildly over pays at the top, it wouldn't shock me.
  17. Actually I am quite the hit, the life of the party. thank you.
  18. Makes sense, I would prefer that then to them getting Mac Jones.
  19. Come on lets try and be fair and objective. So let me get this straight, with your eagle physician eye you could tell with a trip he hurt his knee and within 24 hours has it diagnosed and ready to operate. So i guess 7 months of football had notching to go with it. And when did Arians say he would have clean up? Was that before or after the aforementioned trip. Got news for you, football players get minor surgeries in the off season very frequently, esp a minor one, probably not much more than a scope. This is one of the biggest non-event thread s of all time..unless he is having serious knew surgery.
  20. Can anyone explain to me hot to effect a trade, there are several i have wanted and i keeping clicking on the trade offered with zero results
  21. Mac Jones will be drafted by the Pats is my guess. Incredibly accurate, slow pocket passer, very smart.
  22. No doubt, J Allen really took advantage of quiet stadiums this year. So often he would be direct blocking assignments and routes by screaming it out, proably wont be able to do that much next year but over time he is smart an will be able to work with his teamates over time on these issues.
  23. He is only a "leader" when things go his way and he is winning.
  24. Correct. Being a coach is like second nature to a lot of them. Kids look up to their parents, many follow in the career path of their parents, makes total sense.
