  1. We lost the games at the line of scrimmage, both offensively and defensively. We could not run not adequately protect J Allen, he was under assault, their D Line totally outclassed our O Line. And our D Line was not match for their O Line. We saw what Mahomes can look like when he doesn't have great protection, look at the Super Bowl vs TB.
  2. Good point. Just wait to see what Zach Wilson and Tua do in front of a rocking Highmark Stadium. Would not shock me at if both of them get easily rattled and when/or if Tua gets rattled, his game will come undone.
  3. If it does end up bigger I would add Ryan Bates and Darryl Johnson, both young and not much $. Morse as our primary Center concerns me with his age/injury history and concussions, one thing Bates has O Line versatility. I always liked the upside to Daryl Johnson, was very "raw" coming it of North Carolina A&T but has great length. We are going to loose a good or potentially good D Lineman this year.
  4. Good points although I think Josh's hard work, work with Palmers etc also had a positive impact. You did miss one glorious receiver in your 2018 dismal list...the one and only Kelvin Benjamin who had the lowest catch rate (35%) in the NFL that year, he didnt last the season. Credit to Beane/McDermott admitting/recognizing a mistake. I am amazed the Giants signed him this year.
  5. Cosell had great comments on Tua, trying to be positive and didnt directly trash Tua.. Tua was " Up and down", "needs the offense to work for him", "works well within structure" , "you have to the structure" "teams got an understanding of what he was"...figured him out in other words, one reason why he sucked so bad against the Bills at season end. And credits Chan Gailey for creating the right structure, just like Gailey did in Buffalo creating Fitzmagic and making CJ Spiller look like an all star., As you can tell I am a non-believer in Tua, think yes under near ideal situations like at Alabama he can excel...good luck duplicating that in the NFL.
  6. True, that and our run game and interior line blocking on running plays
  7. I agree. Winter weather is overstated, especially with the national mindset of how brutal WNY weather is. You play half your games away and there are only a handful of winter weather days in WNY for Bill games. Lambeau in a dome, when the Packers arent good games would be dreadful.. Modern day players have far superior winter weather gear, they dont need to dress up in heavy coats as they did 40 years ago.
  8. Are we supposed to be impressed by your overuse now of the word "comminitas"? Good for you, you listen to Schoop and Bulldog, I dont waste my time but i see how you can form your opinions. Gee, thanks for "enlightening me", I figured out why i come here, to try and have an intellectually honest debate which you are apparently incapable of. Bye Bye
  9. I think Trubisky acquisition was one of the most interesting the Bills have did this year. Did they get him for next to nothing to be a backup or to showcase in a pre season game and maybe trade him? Jake Fromm has been in the system for a year, would be nice to see if he has any potential.
  10. Seriously? You start out correctly stating none of us have any idea BUT THEN you go on to assert 1) it wasnt by accident 2) did it on purpose 3) wanted him dead. Well you were right about one thing, none of us have any clue....including yourself.
  11. I agree, I hope he goes back to New England, at some point he is going to fail and fail miserably and to do so back in New England would be tremendous.
  12. Who are you talking about, "she" making the cover of Sports Illustrated?
  13. You disagree with each point, good for you. Did you bother read to the end of my comment on Allens arm (sarcasm). And yes, the malls were never going to be empty either. We shall see how stadiums evolve, if you can only see the present that is up to you. Things evolve and change, some people can foresee a different future, others cant.
  14. Ok Captain Hindsight, a year ago I dont know if NFL players "knew" he could play but the J Allen narrative has changed 100%, or maybe 75% in the past year. Irrelevant now, we have to see how he does, hopefully progressed this year.
  15. My favorite Steve Tasker moment was in the stadium The Meadowlands. not sure if it was the Jets or Giants m(pretty sure it was the Giants because the crownd was dead and didnt hear that Obnoxious J E T S J E T S Jets chant but he caught a punt and the three yard rules was not enacted/enforced, had gat absolutely walloped and didn't fumble. I have looked for that clip but o yard returns on a punt is hardly highlight reel material.
  16. Only entering year three yes I doubt the Bills were ready to give up om J Allen but he was far from proven. I can certainly think back then with the arrogant (justified) smug Tom Brady thinking exactly like that re J Allen. What J Allen did in 2020 did QB quality play strides is hard to fathom/replicate. I cant think of any QB in the modern era making incredible progress as he did. Tommy Maddox?
  17. I wouldn't in any shape way or from try to second guess Brady's psychological motives, he doesn't have anything left to prove. Amazing how Brady does these interviews now, i find it hard to believe he would say these things under Belichek, has to be and incredible relief. Talk about one way to really stick it to the Belichek, go to Buffalo.
  18. On Morse, talk about rolling the dice. With his concussion history i would have a real, real hard time paying him as much as we did and continuing his career at all from a personal standpoint. When he had his concussion last year, I thought he would hang it up. Amazing how "our Bills fans collective mindset" has changed. In the "old days" (two years ago a 6th or 7th rd pick was set to be a future HOFer, (Michael Jasper and a long list of WRs). Now we expect them to be lucky to make the practice squad.
  19. Not any but a lot of teams. Honestly think back a year ago, It could have been the Bills because J Allen was hardly a "proven" QB at that point (hope like hell he is now). That is of course assuming Brady would even consider "lowering" himself to even consider the Bills, dont think he is ego would allow it.
  20. This makes a LOT of sense. I listened to Cowherd saying it wasnt Las Vegas but i thin his rationale was weak.
  21. If we knew EXACTLY when that interview was filmed we can better ascertain who he was talking about with the draft and all the QB moves.
  22. Dead right about our interior O Line, that is why I selected Jack Anderson. I had to look up Forrest Lamp. he sure does look interesting. I wish i knew how solid the Chargers O Line was to let him go as he started all 16 games last year, actually lead the league in total snaps last year.
  23. Because he was needed later in his career especially as wear and tear took its toll on our receiving corps late in the season and the playoffs.
  24. No not get rid of it but try and Justify a $ billion stadium used 10 times a year with overpriced food, drink, parking and hassle when many will be watching games live on cellphone anywhere you want to with no fear of contracting the black plague.
  25. Isn't that why we drafted Allen because of the brutal wind and weather of WNY just like Wyoming he could cut through it with his strong arm? (Sarcasm) How many times a year does weather really impact games with the Bills, maybe 2 a year? Things are different post-covid regardless. Going to be hard to justify expensive stadiums that are used 10-12 times a year especially now that people have gone an entire year not in the stands. And technology will only make it easier and easier to watch remotely, from a convenient place. Stadiums are going to be like Malls in 20 years, nice antiquated monsters from a bygone era.
